Joshua barrie posting on twitter that we are interested in OOC Peterborough right winger kwame poku. 23 years old.

OrangeT

1.) 09 Jun 2025 12:38:57
Another one we've been interested in for a while now.

Originally rejected a move to the club in favour for a move to the EPL, however got a serious hamstring injury and that fell through.

Suspect he'll stay in England.

2.) 09 Jun 2025 12:45:55
Serious hamstring injury EHL? Sounds like one of ours!

3.) 09 Jun 2025 12:54:02
Seen this a few times. Peterborough are great at bringing through youth. Some terrific prospects.

4.) 09 Jun 2025 13:05:22
Seen him a couple of times play, gets bums off seats as they say but agree with EHL probably stay down south, if they could get them up for a look around might help tho.

5.) 09 Jun 2025 13:11:26
Yeah I posted this one a month or two ago.
Last update I had got was that he preferred to either move to the prem or to a european league.

Not sure he's worth the risk given the hamstring injuries.
A player like Poku is explosive and reliant on pace and power, serious hamstring injuries already at his age is a concern.

6.) 09 Jun 2025 13:45:25
Hamstring injuries particularly grade 4 the most common injury in the game nowadays, watch next season around internationals players and those playing in club World Cup

All the big Europe clubs want CL and Europa league squads increased to 28.

7.) 09 Jun 2025 14:57:15
Decent player injury prone af played most of his carer in championship or league 1 this will definitely have legs and sounds like the kind of signing we've been making for years.

8.) 09 Jun 2025 15:03:41
Far too much football getting played now John.

9.) 09 Jun 2025 15:19:27
Injury prone Muscat? bad hamstring has been his only injury and was our for around three months.

10.) 09 Jun 2025 15:38:01
We are getting the Welsh wizard back so don't worry fast as f*** but doesn't take ball with him, can fall down on either wing and sprints at record pace when coming off the bench and tries to avoid banging in to linesmen and ball boys, we are lucky to have him my source tells me .

11.) 09 Jun 2025 15:49:44
Injury prone? how is someone having a hamstring injury make them injury prone ??.

12.) 09 Jun 2025 18:16:20
He's on a free with only compensation due if we sign him. Worth a punt if wages are under £10k and compensation is £500k.

21 May 2025 23:08:54
I see guillem balague put up on twitter that ot was between only 2 candidates now after both have had positive talks. Gerrard amd ancelotti.

OrangeT

1.) 22 May 2025 00:26:06
Are any of them German?

2.) 22 May 2025 06:50:04
Prob just a smokescreen.

3.) 22 May 2025 14:57:03
He's denied it.

4.) 22 May 2025 15:35:24
Literally was on his page.

22 Feb 2025 20:50:13
Ehl who is this LW that you were saying was the worst kept secret? Because no one seems to know lol.

OrangeT

1.) 22 Feb 2025 21:18:40
Cortes I'm assuming.

2.) 22 Feb 2025 21:22:14
I think he was meaning kent but i might be wrong.

3.) 22 Feb 2025 22:01:37
Couhaib Driouech?

4.) 22 Feb 2025 22:25:25
It wasn't kent.

5.) 22 Feb 2025 23:10:18
Cortes? Already signing so no secret.

6.) 23 Feb 2025 08:08:04
Ok it just appears to be a secret.

7.) 23 Feb 2025 10:00:07
I agree orange its a secret most of us have no clue who he is talking about.

8.) 23 Feb 2025 11:58:10
Oh well, it was a player who was heavily linked and discussed during the January window.

Seems to have been overlooked or forgotten, so guess it does remain a secret after all.

9.) 23 Feb 2025 14:57:16
All due respect ehl, we were linked with a million players.

29 Jan 2025 09:31:09
John what's the announcements then John? Ins? Outs? One of each? Any names or is your info without names? Cheers.

OrangeT

1.) 29 Jan 2025 10:10:53
Patience my young padowan ?.

2.) 29 Jan 2025 10:11:03
At present one in one out, have names but won't upset the experts anymore.

3.) 29 Jan 2025 10:24:25
Will it be a shock who leaves?

4.) 29 Jan 2025 10:28:24
Hamza out
Katic in?

5.) 29 Jan 2025 10:29:48
You say one in one out, and that the out is a good saving. But also that there could well be a clue at end of game on Thursday. So it's likely that the 'out' will be in the squad on Thursday (rules out Matondo) . So likely it's either Dessers or Ridvan? And the 'in' you've suggested is an 'ok' signing (so unlikely to be a big money move… not that that was ever likely) so I'm guessing it's confirmation on Lyle Cameron? I know you probably won't confirm either way which I understand, but those are my guesses ?.

6.) 29 Jan 2025 10:31:38
Cameron in, ridvan or dessers out.

7.) 29 Jan 2025 10:32:00
I completely understand why you don't want to give names John, but is it a name that excites you?

8.) 29 Jan 2025 10:41:37
John, is one of the announcements the arrival of Lyall Cameron? as daily record is reporting that a deal has been agreed.

9.) 29 Jan 2025 10:42:05
Give over, John is doing us a favour, it's prompting debate discussions and lunacy in a theoretical sense ???.

10.) 29 Jan 2025 10:43:55
Get Cameron now.

11.) 29 Jan 2025 10:48:58
Yilmaz will only get sold if a lb is coming in, we ain't only having one lb in our European squad that would be worse the crazy, wouldn't be much of a saving either he's on less than double Dressers wage, but think something has been up with him the last few games just never looked on it or even that interested.

12.) 29 Jan 2025 10:57:32
N mills. Cameron done deal i think.

13.) 29 Jan 2025 10:59:23
Tom Lawrence leaving would be a good saving on wages.

14.) 29 Jan 2025 11:02:00
I agree Fork and not knowing builds the excitement of the announcements. the opposite of voting for VAR to confirm the goal.

15.) 29 Jan 2025 11:27:41
Out and saving - Tom Lawrence?

16.) 29 Jan 2025 11:22:10
Now there a few been mentioned

Dessers going
Ridvan going
Clubs looking at iganame
Etc etc

My guess cameron will b pre deal
Dessers stays
Ridvan stays
I have just got this feeling that a spurs or so have put in a good bid and has been accepted for iganame.

17.) 29 Jan 2025 11:25:04
Oh John yer killin me. I've always came on here and respected 4 or 5 posters on here. You being one of the main ones. Thank you for your info. I'm excited and scared. I don't want to see a couple of our players leave this window, and a couple I really want to see leave too. Igamane Raskin and Jefte I don't want to go in this window. Think if they stay fit we get close to double in the summer. WE seem desperate for money so I hope we don't get low balled on our talent.

Sorry if my spelling is bad its 4 am here.

18.) 29 Jan 2025 11:36:16
Surely if you name them John and it comes to pass then you're the expert.

19.) 29 Jan 2025 11:51:28
A few of the news outlets are reporting Hamza to Everton close! would be gutted if that happens but it would also be a massive short term win for a guy that only really burst onto the scene in December!

20.) 29 Jan 2025 12:01:08
Fork I bet you look like yoda ?.

21.) 29 Jan 2025 12:27:38
Jason a player I'd like to see in a rangers top mate.

22.) 29 Jan 2025 12:48:10
I hope that's not a player you like to see in a Rangers top that's leaving John.

I would guess the sale of a player like Igamane is one that takes a while as Rangers really ain't interested in selling him, unlike the likes of Dessers and Ridvan that were open to, or would seem we're open to.

23.) 29 Jan 2025 12:49:43
Leia at jabba's gaffe storm??.

24.) 29 Jan 2025 12:53:41
I hope the " out" is Lawrence, selling Yilmaz when we have let Fraser go out on loan makes no sense and selling Dessers is a real risk unless the " in " is a striker .
Despite the rumours just can't see us selling Igamane or Jefte in this window.

25.) 29 Jan 2025 13:05:02
In terms of squad cover, I'd be reasonably happy if Butland were to leave for a decent fee. I like and respect him but I think he is more easily covered than the likes of Hamza or Ridvan leaving. It would be a sensible sale in the context of a sensible player trading model.

Thanks again for the info John2561.

26.) 29 Jan 2025 14:19:45
I'm fearful for panic sales in this window. If igamane does leave I'm fearful of the club accepting around 10m because we're in desperate need of a cash injection.

27.) 29 Jan 2025 16:48:40
Gersgirl that's twice you mentioned 10million don't worry yourself, he won't be going for anywhere near that poxy amount.

27 Jan 2025 19:48:07
Being told dowell deal is basically done. Loan but no. mention of option to buy. Matondo also in talks with clubs down south but also hannover and there could be a return possible to schalke as they have registered an interest. Interest in dessers in Italy, igamane is interesting spurs as well as another epl team, rumoured to be Everton or West ham.

Propper might be heading back to Holland, with an enquiry being made after the game yesterday. Hagi open to a new deal but rangers are not willing to increase his wages, I'm being told. Yilmaz back to Turkey is gathering pace, according to what I am being told. Offers for butland to be accepted in the summer I'm led to believe, chelsea want jefte but in the summer, then they will loan him to strasbourg.

OrangeT

1.) 27 Jan 2025 20:23:29
a bit late with Dowell OT as BBC announced it before lunch.

others seem to follow the news going around but good to have re-confirmed.

2.) 27 Jan 2025 20:43:47
Basically done? They announced him like 7 hours ago?.

3.) 27 Jan 2025 20:44:39
If you don't mind me asking Orange T
why would chelsea buy jefte and loan him to Strasbourg mate, why them ?.

4.) 27 Jan 2025 20:46:41
Orange, good info. Everyone for sale if the price is right.

5.) 27 Jan 2025 20:50:00
Chelsea owners own Strasbourg they are already sending players back and forth.

6.) 27 Jan 2025 20:54:56
Sorry this post has went over a few heads.

7.) 27 Jan 2025 21:12:28
Nice putting it all together OT ?.

8.) 27 Jan 2025 21:30:22
Assume this was just a sarcastic listing of everything that has been on clickbait sites over the last couple of days.

9.) 28 Jan 2025 04:07:50
Coop the Chelsea group on both teams that's why. I thought that was obvious.

10.) 28 Jan 2025 09:19:12
wsl it can't be as he says I am told in it a few times.

and yes OT the post has gone over my head so please let me know the hidden meaning in your message.

11.) 28 Jan 2025 10:16:43
Chelsea have a load of players out on loan, must be over 20 at least, so it's what they do with what they see as potential . I think they have a few at Strasbourg now.

12.) 28 Jan 2025 10:34:08
If I'm right it's to see if OT gets challenged on his rumours post, OT sounded off yesterday about why are we not allowed to challenge rumours, may be completely wrong here though??.

13.) 28 Jan 2025 11:48:36
cheers Fork still lost as I don't even see any challenge to what he said. so that worked then.

OrangeT's banter posts with other poster's replies to OrangeT's banter posts

20 Jun 2025 07:44:43
Right I've found the root of the problem on here. Lots of posters get triggered by people saying "I'm being told", "my source says" etc etc. When the likes of john, ehl, cf5, white horse etc etc put info up, you will notice they don't say these phrases.

This is a bit of tongue in cheek although I actually do believe people get their back up from these phrases. We should make it now you have to start a rumours post with "apparently" or "I've saw we are. " ?.

OrangeT

1.) 20 Jun 2025 08:43:30
Can u confirm where u got this idea from, who told u this?

2.) 20 Jun 2025 08:49:23
Seen orange.

3.) 20 Jun 2025 09:06:36
"I can confirm. "

11 Jun 2025 09:22:19
Why is everyone so sure about the joe aribo rumour? I've seen comments on here stating it IS joe aribo? Why do they think this? B3cause, possible his agent was meeting people from the club? Could it be possible that we are in for a non ex player who this man represents?

OrangeT

1.) 11 Jun 2025 09:24:45
People commented because it was said an ex player.

2.) 11 Jun 2025 09:24:52
OrangeT, I did post we were linked with an ex player.

It wasn't Aribo though.

3.) 11 Jun 2025 09:41:53
We ain't getting aribo he is on 70k a week tho that will drop down a bit if he has relegation clause in contract.

4.) 11 Jun 2025 09:55:47
EHL you've got me thinking Cantwell mate.

5.) 11 Jun 2025 10:30:55
Not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination, but i pray that Cantwell never sets foot inside Ibrox again.

6.) 11 Jun 2025 10:31:28
Hope it's not Cantwell.

7.) 11 Jun 2025 10:48:16
Thinking the same MyStar.

8.) 11 Jun 2025 11:16:00
It will not be Aribo. I'm happy with that. move on.

9.) 11 Jun 2025 11:19:36
As far as I read no one said coming back as a player. This could be the Naismith rumor or possibly another former player coming in as a coach. Or did I miss something?

10.) 11 Jun 2025 11:32:25
Just said to my mate the other night that i reckon cantwell maybe wishes he stuck it out a bit longer, he clearly didn't get on with phil. Not sure how i would feel about it, he's certainly better than what replaced him but he would need to knuckle down and get on with his job and grow up a bit.

11.) 11 Jun 2025 13:04:04
I really liked Cantwell as a player but why would we want a player back who chucks it when he has a disagreement with the manager . Cantwell made a lot of his own problems up here with all his social media stuff . If you talk big you have to deliver on the pitch.

09 Jun 2025 10:03:54
Away from player talk etc thought I would have an actual bit of banter and pose a random question. So, if you could have picked one Celtic manager and one Celtic player to have been at us instead of them, who would you pick? It's got to have been within your lifetime tho? Think a lot prob be similar but it's just a laugh. And let's make it also that you can't pick larsson. Might make it more interesting.

OrangeT

1.) 09 Jun 2025 10:17:05
OT I think John Stein and as a back up Ange. We never won anything when I was a lad because of Stein. I also think Billy McNeil from the same era and as much as it pains me Scott Brown more recently.

2.) 09 Jun 2025 10:20:25
Dalgleisgh.

3.) 09 Jun 2025 10:24:23
Player Moravcik, manager O'Neil.

4.) 09 Jun 2025 10:27:11
John barnes and Rafael scheidt ?.

5.) 09 Jun 2025 10:27:51
Big ange and moravchek or nakamura for me.

6.) 09 Jun 2025 10:29:21
Ange, Di Canio.

7.) 09 Jun 2025 10:44:18
Big Ange and Virgil Van Dijk.

8.) 09 Jun 2025 10:53:40
Dalglish. No manager for me with possible exception of STEIN.

9.) 09 Jun 2025 11:04:07
Can't believe we're doing this but OK OT. Tommy Burns is about the only Manager I'd have time for. Absolute gent. And for player apart from the obvious favourites I'd got for Big Bobo going to get u. He'd sort out our defence for sure.

10.) 09 Jun 2025 11:04:10
Ange as he could and would have got the player trading model up and running and got us a load of players cheap but quality.

Oriley again just because that 25m would of been great for us to get.

11.) 09 Jun 2025 11:08:44
Either Paul Mcstay or Larson. Manager is a toughy. Ange probably.

12.) 09 Jun 2025 11:09:21
I liked big Viduka. He was a player. Maybe Wim Jansen.

13.) 09 Jun 2025 11:10:15
Paul McStay and manager would be ange.

14.) 09 Jun 2025 11:31:55
I will go for two Rangers supporters. King Kenny and Jock Stein.

15.) 09 Jun 2025 11:38:05
Good answers Angus. Player wise I would have said Van dijk and manager wise it would be between martin o Neill and tommy burns. My old boy knew TB and whenever we bumped into him he was a genuinely good guy, even towards me who was only a young one then.

16.) 09 Jun 2025 11:38:13
As a player, I would say John Collins. He would have thrived for us in the era he played in. As for manager, definitely Ange.

17.) 09 Jun 2025 11:39:40
I considered di canio coully. Controversial player but bags of ability.

18.) 09 Jun 2025 11:41:55
Dalglish for me too. Would have said Johnstone if we hadn't had Willie Henderson who was my favourite Ranger as a kid.

Manager has to be Stein.

19.) 09 Jun 2025 11:49:31
Burns manager n jackie mcnamara.

20.) 09 Jun 2025 11:50:47
I really like maeda, has a fabulous work rate and going by RM pressers he'd fut into the new style, managers i really liked big anges if you score 4 we will score 5 attitude.

21.) 09 Jun 2025 11:53:47
Not that I really want to think that much about them, but I can't believe that so far only one person has given a passing mention to Larsson. He's the one I wish we had gotten, especially considering how much he cost.

22.) 09 Jun 2025 12:07:16
OP said don't include larsson?.

23.) 09 Jun 2025 12:28:45
Thanks fork, knew there would be a few who would ignore that part. Also don't really get the couple of comments about "don't know why we are doing it". It's just a bit of a laugh. Doesn't mean your a closet Celtic supporter, chill.

24.) 09 Jun 2025 12:49:33
O'neil and di canio.

25.) 09 Jun 2025 12:50:34
Moravcik and and O'Neil.

26.) 09 Jun 2025 12:51:45
Sorry OT didn't mean to come across like that as if u shouldn't be saying it. More a this seems funny actually doing it. A good discussion and bit of banter, just didn't put it well. There have been one or two over there I've not minded. ?.

27.) 09 Jun 2025 12:52:05
? Ah ok, never saw that! Couldn't understand why no one had mentioned him?.

28.) 09 Jun 2025 13:05:50
Surprised how many different Celtic players our fans rate tbh. I think that is what it is all about supporting one team but being able to see and respect a good player whoever he plays for.

29.) 09 Jun 2025 13:07:42
Tommy Burns as manager and has to be Dalgleish with Van Dijk a close second.

30.) 09 Jun 2025 13:07:58
In my time, probably Larsson was the stand out, manager wise and trophiy wins then Martin O'Neil, Stein would be obvious choice but a bit before my time.

31.) 09 Jun 2025 13:39:46
Player had to be Moravcik outstanding ability, Stein and Dalglish was before me, vvd kicked on after celtic.

32.) 09 Jun 2025 13:52:27
Burns and Moravcik.

33.) 09 Jun 2025 15:54:05
Has to be Jock Stein and Kenny Dalglish.

34.) 09 Jun 2025 20:49:56
Jock Stein and Danny McGrain.

04 Jun 2025 20:00:24
What I've got to laugh at is people saying he is the wrong choice. Take a minute and think that he may not have been the 1st choice. Or the 2nd. Or the 3rd etc.

He might have been the best available candidate that we could get to agree to what we presented him. Just because we are linked to this and that doesn't mean we could achieve an agreement.

Honestly, the way some grown men are reacting to this is disgraceful. Way to make someone feel welcome before anything has even started.

OrangeT

1.) 04 Jun 2025 20:10:14
When were people not allowed an opinion OT?

2.) 04 Jun 2025 20:25:34
OrangeT - if he's in any way affected by the opinions of some of our fans then he's certainly at the wrong club and working in the wrong field. Takes a strong, confident character to manage Rangers. Everyone is entitled to share their views, certainly when it's this underwhelming. I'm keeping an open mind this time round based on wanting Gio, wanting Beale and also thinking Clement would be a success. What did I know? ? I'll back him once he's in the door ?? (until his first defeat of course ?)

3.) 04 Jun 2025 20:25:47
I said a couple of days ago that the managers job this summer is not as important as we were making it out to be .
The yanks have come with not much money in their pockets. We haven't players that if sold will give us a massive transfer nest egg.

Lack of money and UEFA FF leaves our squad building only at foundation levels . We need to build slowly year on year and we have time to get manager right.

4.) 04 Jun 2025 20:39:15
Yanks not much money in pockets. Surely you're at it.

5.) 04 Jun 2025 20:41:39
Yoursperx, What are you talking about? diomande, raskin and igamane would being in at least 45m between them how more obvious a Celtic fan can you be.

6.) 04 Jun 2025 20:53:41
Yoursperx trust me the pockets are very deep and full.

7.) 04 Jun 2025 20:53:57
Yoursperx you really haven't got a clue what our new owners will do, correct recruitment and every chance we beat your mob too 56, we've seen your mob ain't as good as the majority of your fans think, it has been four games since your last win against a very average Rangers.

8.) 04 Jun 2025 20:57:14
They are worth a combined 11b ????? more than double what your owner desmond is worth.

9.) 04 Jun 2025 21:01:13
Mustcat he is a tim that really doesn't have much of a clue.

10.) 04 Jun 2025 21:07:22
Mustcat more like 5 times.

11.) 04 Jun 2025 21:28:17
What you talking about storm? Where did I say or imply that people weren't allowed an opinion. Infact all. i actually did was give my opinion on what I felt about the situation. The irony of it eh!

03 Jun 2025 15:37:26
My two cents, for what it's worth and I know nothing about it but just my opinion, is that both martin and ancelotti are having final talks with Rangers today and tomorrow and this will then be followed by the announcement once the board makes the final decision. I think romano has jumped the gun and everyone has followed, as happens often. We will prob get an announcement on Thursday or Friday. Again, just my thoughts.

OrangeT

1.) 03 Jun 2025 17:11:21
Orange, I think u r correct, I understand Romano has taken down his post

Interview today, tomorrow, Thursday announcement Friday.

2.) 03 Jun 2025 17:21:07
Agree Orange!

3.) 03 Jun 2025 17:32:31
Still up as of 5:32 john?.

4.) 03 Jun 2025 18:09:24
Interesting john. I wonder who the 3rd potential manager is then, since most outlets and people stating its a shootout between martin amd ancelotti Jr? Maybe rose or schmitz.

5.) 03 Jun 2025 18:24:51
Cheers fork. Orange mb.
