Heard from a friend of a friend who said that Sturridge is arriving on Monday on trial with a week to prove his fitness?

Liverpool won the CL sturridge hardly played so he's just a passenger really, he ain't what we need nor want we have an experience striker in definitely what we need is someone aged between 24-28 that's just needing a place to call home.

@highlandbear - it isn't about his ability. We all know the quality he possesses. It's in regards to his overall long term fitness. We all know the issues he's had and Klopp alluded to them as well.
Anyway only passing on what I've been told on a RUMOURS site!

Im one of the 22. I said no for two reasons, SG loves football and if he could play he would so I trust he knows best. Also as he's a midfielder he would need to run about 8 miles a game. Not sure if would have aerobic capacity or VO2 max to achieve that sort of level as this diminishes with age and there is no getting it back. Remember it took Davis a while to get his match legs even when fit and younger. don't let romance get in the way of the facts. Wouldn't like to see Gerrard be another Niko.
