Stewart Robertson said there is signing news coming in the next week or so. Just a hunch that’ll it’ll be the ex St Mirren goalkeeper Hladky although I’ve heard we’re in talks for Ivan Toney of Peterborough.

There are a lot of good free transfers around but some have cost us dearly in the past ie:High wages and then a pay off when they don, t deliver the goods.

The st Mirren keeper has looked decent when I have seen him and he will be a no2 next year if he joins so it’s a good signing, I don’t know anything about Toney unfortunately. There are a lot of good free agents going to be available this year. I would like to see us go for Clyne I also think we will be the side that Lyle Taylor joins.

Toney is a great attack minded player and was linked with celtic in january along with his partner. He knows his way to goal. Another name that has been mentioned with a move to ibrox is Niclas Eliasson and Stephen Kingsley both talented players.

Young Leon King supposedly close to agreeing pro terms with us. Still not done yet though. Also signed with new Agency called Base who have a good relationship with Rangers.

The club have broken many promises to Kennedy and offered him an academy contract when he is a first team player. One of the lies I know is they advised young Stephen Kelly to go out on loan as young players wouldn’t be getting any minutes this season but used young players getting minutes as a promise to get Nathan Patterson to sign his deal and tried to use it on Kennedy. Club then leaked to press that Kennedy was being greedy to try and control the narrative but it failed. Everything I’ve said there I was told by someone who was involved in the negotiations.

He was lied to repeatedly by the club, the club promised him first team but then offered him an academy contract and then the club have leaked to the Sun to try control the narrative of him wanting more money. Bayern the most interested in Kennedy. All this is absolute fact as it comes for someone who was involved in the discussions over a new contract.
