StevieG, he isn’t a great player. He has good ability, but like so many of our players lacks the self motivation/ drive to really push on.
Great players have bad games but not bad seasons. Kamara has just had a totally honking season.
I genuinely think we are doing really well to get £4M for him. I wouldn’t want him on a free on his current form.

Kamara is only worth what a club is prepared to pay. Maybe Leeds have looked at him downing tools at Dundee to get the move to us and then downing tools at us last season as he didn't want to be here. Who's to say he won't do the same to Leeds in 3 years. Take the £4 million and move on.

I feel gio played him out of position in a 10 and then dropped him for not playing well.
He had a few wee injuries here and there aswell I believe. ?
I’m judging him by how he performed under stevie g in Europe and against Celtic I think that proves his quality mate.
For whatever reason gio didn’t fancy him. And now neither does mb.
I also think he plays best in a 3 man mf n not as a 2.
One of his best attributes is covering fullbacks when they’re out of position, mostly done in a 3, and anticipating where the balls going to be, his ball retention is outstanding. Great passer in tight spaces and never looks pressured. Has the makings of a top player. But I do see where your coming from aswell it will be interesting to see how he performs down south as that is a tough league.

If there was a duplicate of him available to Rangers the club wouldn't pay £500k for him, Farke has seen something in him but God only knows when as he hasn't had the working boots on for a year, it's a terrific deal if it goes though at £4m as that's just nuts for him right now, luckily Leeds have the parachute payment to chuck around like madmen .

StevieG I agree with all your points re his retention of the ball, but for me he lacks heart. And to be in a championship winning team, you need heart, preferably the size of a lion. Lundstrum, Jack and Raskin don’t posses his ability for close control and ball retention - but in a game against Celtic, everyone one of them plays before him because they don’t like to lose, they will give everything to be on the winning side and won’t shirk and playing dirty. That’s not in Glens makeup unfortunately.
I know it’s a bit cliche, but in big games you sometimes need to win the midfield battle before being allowed to play. When Glen is in the team that’s extremely difficult especially away from Ibrox.
I hope he goes on and has a great career (I really do), he had some big moments for us, but has started to go backwards. But as I said, on current form I think £4M is more than I would be happy to pay for him. If we sold him last year after the Europa League run then it have been easily double that.

Lammers classes himself as a striker but he won't be primarily used as a striker for us, he will be asupporting a striker as I believe the Gaffer sees him better suited to that role rather than main front man ie Dessers / colak if he's still here, I don't actually see roofe challenging the number 9 position either I firmly believe he will be challenging sima or lammers in the shadow striker / inside forward roles.
