More talk of Gerrard getting the job from a speakers night over the weekend with two ex players, Hateley and Vigna, hinting at it.
Really don't know how I feel about it, if it's going to be Gerrard. Think it'll be a massive mistake going back the way and end in tears.

If it is Gerrard then I think this indicates a change is strategy again, I can't see him working within the financial constraints which PC did, that actually appears to be part of the reason he lift in the first place.
Will he have the patience to work with prospect players like Jefte, Nsiala or Cortez. My gut feel is he'd prefer to pay for established championship players or fringe premiership players.
I honestly don't care who the manager is as long as he wins the league. I can even forget the style we play and how entertaining the game is as long as we win, that's all that matters just now.

Of course we are going to have a change in strategy, we are going to have new owners with forward thinking ideas and that has to include investment in the squad . Never mind Gerrard we won't get any decent manager unless there is promised investment . As for patience with younger players didn't Gerrard play Bassey, Aribo and Paterson all players we sold for millions.
