Anyone hear something about Pedro saying he hopes for 2 more signings? Both Scottish and both Rangers fans?

Sebo

1.) 22 Jul 2017 21:50:27
Scott Brown lol

2.) 22 Jul 2017 22:32:53
Aye was just about to post this was on ssn lol bring them home 💙

3.) 22 Jul 2017 21:59:09
Yes said it on tv earlier

4.) 22 Jul 2017 22:53:06
Could be shagger is on his way back not the obvious Naismith.

5.) 22 Jul 2017 23:01:37
If it is those 2 we are giving ourselves a really good chance of competing. This year is about getting us close to Celtic and hopefully next year challenging for title.

6.) 22 Jul 2017 23:51:20
Would like another central defender. We lost our shape a bit at the back when salves went off

7.) 23 Jul 2017 01:28:49
Mentioned it last month, wouldn't rule out Hutton!

8.) 23 Jul 2017 09:32:58
Mclean and walker

9.) 23 Jul 2017 14:43:41
Would love it to be McLean and Walker but there's no way The Sheep would sell McLean to us.

Stewart Milne gave McInness his word, and there's no way he'll risk pissing of McInness.

More likely to be Walker and Naismith.

The Naismith deal was on 100% before we were knocked out of Europe, and given that we need a striker, he's the obvious choice.

10.) 23 Jul 2017 16:17:35
Still think more defensive cover needed. Wilson and wallace after alves came off looked suspect together. The quicker alves becomes captain the better wallace Just doesn't do it for me

11.) 23 Jul 2017 19:21:21
Shagger? Hutton? I would immediately rule out both - Why? because it's not 2007.

12.) 23 Jul 2017 20:24:26
hutton close to signing for shefield wed

13.) 24 Jul 2017 15:54:29
Good luck to him -best £8 million we ever made selling that donkey when we did.

Reports Tav is close to joining Trabzonspor in Turkey? What are peoples thoughts on this? Really don't want to lose anyone but money talks : (

Sebo

1.) 13 Aug 2016 23:48:53
Do u think its possible this is where the money for Garner is coming from? would be a shame to see him go, One of our best players.

2.) 13 Aug 2016 23:49:09
If Warburton gets hard cash in the region of £2m to spend on a centre half and striker through the sale of Tav I'd be happy enough.

3.) 13 Aug 2016 23:57:43
Hopefully we keep him, if he proves to be as good in the SPFL then he'd be worth more.

I think Hodson would do well in Taverniers absence but it makes more sense to keep Tav at Ibrox.

Hopefully the money isn't the winner in this scenario.

4.) 14 Aug 2016 00:03:10
Where are u hearing this? all I've seen is that their chairman says they are close to signing a right back, doesn't mention a name though.

5.) 14 Aug 2016 00:05:56
Can't see it happening at end of day tav will have a say if he don't want to leave they can't make him and I really can't seeing him wanting to go to Turkey with all that's going on over there and the fact there is more to achive for him at Ibrox than playing for trapsonspur. Also I don't think 2.5mill is enuff it would of course be a good profit for us but I think he could prove to be worth a lot more if he has another season or two playing well. Right backs that can score like he does are hard to come by so I really hope he stays.

6.) 14 Aug 2016 00:40:44
If Tavs currently played in the EPL he would be worth 3-4m player easy, If he scores the same amount this season and his defending improves, even for an SPFL player will be worth 4m! Got a feeling that him and others will have a minimum fee release clause in their contract and Warbs will have made sure that other teams will get them on the cheap!

7.) 14 Aug 2016 00:44:22
Cant see him wanting to go but 2.5mill is a fair price especially if it means garner n some fanni he can play rb or cb too.

8.) 14 Aug 2016 01:09:55
Can't see it, What player in there right mind would move to Turkey now, the European player are all trying to get out of the place!

9.) 14 Aug 2016 01:14:56
Brazilian RB Mayke is joining Trabzonspor for over a million.

Tavernier is staying.

10.) 14 Aug 2016 01:15:35
Disasrer if Tav goes. nnh.

11.) 14 Aug 2016 01:33:28
Get a grip . our biggest danger player is Tav. he's going nowhere. and we don't need a carthorse like garner either.

12.) 14 Aug 2016 03:18:27
Tav is here to stay for atleast another 2 seasons, he wants Champions League football, so this season and then next, that's when we'll be init ;)

13.) 14 Aug 2016 10:05:41
I'm hearing Joe Garner can be a Rangers player by start of week at around £800,000 this must be coming from the sale of Tav's to Trabzonspor, believed to be at around 3m! I hope not, as I see him as a key player and let's face it, who would want to go to Turkey just now.

14.) 14 Aug 2016 22:39:48
If Tav goes then good luck to him. Thanks for a good year. Personally, I'd accept 2.5m, a good bit of business. I wouldn't be concerned if he left either. At least when we played Celtic, Hodson would be guaranteed a start and we wouldn't ship 3/ 4 goals. If he stays and starts against them, well it's going to be embarrassing. Boy is a liability in defence.

Regarding Garner, take him in a heartbeat. Clinical. Would be a goal machine up here. Got it all. Love his 'the bird' celebration too. Real character. Official PNE video showing some his goals is worth a watch, includes one of the best goals ever scored.

15.) 15 Aug 2016 11:19:14
Bilbo what u talking about look at the last old firm tav was one our best players that day and defended brilliantly aswell I think is he scores half the goals he did last year and improves his defending he will be worth at least double that especially if we win the league!

16.) 15 Aug 2016 17:24:13
James, the goalie should've scored a couple last year in that Mickey Mouse league. Tav is no defmeder. We're a man down in defence at the start of every match. So many people lay the blame at DW and RK when Tav is the culprit. MW isn't going to move him into midfield so cash in. In the Old Firm, everyone played well. Remember Roberts missing a shocking sitter after bombing down Tav's flank and stretching DW and RK? Could've been a different result that day. Thankfully it wasn't.

Btw I like Tav but I'd be playing him against bottom 6 teams and Hodson top 6 IMO.

17.) 13 Aug 2016 23:53:23
If we get £3million then he can go.

18 Jun 2016 13:38:42
Anyone know anything about Windass and Crooks not being allowed to train with us yet? We haven't paid Accrington their compensation apparently. Surely not!

Sebo

1.) 18 Jun 2016 13:56:05
We have not paid it because Accrington S haven't replied to us! Mr Holt of A S is hacked off because we have 2 of his best players for compensation and not a fee. He mouthed off a lot of boll***s at the time and he is mouthing a lot off a lot of boll***s here again.

From what I can see Rangers are looking after Rangers and are not concerned for anyone else.

Well done Rangers.

2.) 18 Jun 2016 17:02:53
Rangers have asked acc stan to provide them with relevant documentation regarding the duo, but so far they haven't done so, so I don't know what happens next.

3.) 18 Jun 2016 17:47:06
Come June 30th their contracts at Accrington are up so then it becomes an irrelevance. In the meantime this guy Holt at Accrington is either unaware that his people have not provided the documentation that is required or he is being a pratt!

4.) 18 Jun 2016 14:35:35
It isn't always someone else's fault. This has been known about for ages and we should have paid them the 250k fee for each player by now. The club has a habit of making a mess of transfers.

Very proud bear today! Once again written off by everyone and yet again come away with the draw. Says it all that i'm gutted with the draw. I've said it before and ill say it again, we are not as far away as people think. A few decent experienced pros and we'll go close. I urge all the fans to stick with it and get behind the team. At the Well game midweek there was a lot of grumbles and groans but we must stick together as i believe 55 is not far away! That mob are 1 game away from imploding haha they've just gone 60 odd games unbeaten, are 11 clear of us and didn't lose the game! Yet the boos ringing round the stadium from "the best fans in the world" showed how close to the edge they are! Keep believing Teddy bears, the good times will return.

1.) 30 Dec 2017 17:04:00
That's the spirit! back 4 were outstanding, Fod, McCrorie and Candeias all excellent too. Morelos was unlucky, still lacking confidence and needs more support up there. A few more forwards in Jan to help us win the games we're expected to.

Keep Believing!

2.) 30 Dec 2017 17:11:26
Mr Danny Wilson. I apologise for some of my criticism of you. you were excellent today, outstanding. Jock Wallace would have been proud of the character and attitude shown today. I thought it would be 4-0 to them. I was wrong. proud of Rangers today. Chris Sutton. what a fud!

RIP Daniel Prodan. Very sad news.

Sebo

{Ed039's Note - Just commenting on his injuries only a few hours ago, very sad)

1.) 17 Nov 2016 08:48:09
Just seen this in the news! Probably remembered as a Rangers player for all the wrong reasons but was still part of our family.

RIP.

2.) 17 Nov 2016 10:21:20
Too young to go. Still fondley remebered by rangers fans in a weird way.

3.) 17 Nov 2016 10:41:38
This very sad news puts football firmly into perspective! So sad to hear the devastating news, of the passing of our former player, Daniel Prodan, who was only 44 years old! God rest your soul, Daniel Prodan!

4.) 18 Nov 2016 11:27:48
Sad news.

I know he became the butt of some jokes and the go-to-reference for Rangers signing of injured players but I remember him scoring an absolute beauty, a real top top drawer goal, against you in the Champions League. Possibly/ probably the reason you signed him.

Sad news indeed.

20 Aug 2016 18:41:38
Thought today the problem was the midfield. Barton, Halliday and Rossitier i think are too alike. There was no1 running through the lines as it's not their natural game. I think Windass gives us that option and when Nico came on his first thought was to pass forward. All in all i think Warburton is still trying to get the right balance in midfield, not the best performance but we kept going and got a huge 3 points!

Sebo

1.) 20 Aug 2016 18:51:08
Yeah we lacked creativity no real service everything was leaked out wide never any aggression through the middle.

2.) 20 Aug 2016 18:54:37
Mckay had a shocker today - I'm not his greatest fan but he could have been taken off after 20 mins - no confidence to go by or take on his man - we looked off the pace in the first half - I've said before Rossiter is a joy to watch - always looking for the ball and rarely misses a pass - At least in the second half we kept pushing and trying and we got the 3 points in the end - Ref was shocking and gave us nothing. - Parading Joe Garner at half time definitely lifted the place - great atmosphere today - Everyone tried their best, yes even wee Barry who just had an off day -.

3.) 20 Aug 2016 19:12:59
Ive came on this site a few times saying barton could be a standout for yourselves, but from what i can gather the only thing he has done is bump his gums about us, a few of ma mates said that he dosent even look interested and they are ticket holders, not match fit maybe?

4.) 20 Aug 2016 19:25:34
We have better players than Barton but we need his experience and desire. Been solid so far and will get better!

5.) 20 Aug 2016 19:49:54
who do you rate better than barton infinity?, this guy was a standout in a league better than ours last yr?

6.) 20 Aug 2016 20:04:56
I recon Windass should play alongside Rossiter and Barton in the mid with licence to run with the ball. Think this will open spaces that aren't being made at the moment as we don't really have anyone in the middle of the park who will commit a couple of players.

7.) 20 Aug 2016 20:36:57
Thought we were very naive today. Wee McDonald, Lasley and McManus used every old trick in the book to gain fouls and time waste when they were 1-0 up McKay always slows game down and lacks confidence to attack and run at defenders.
When we attack teams aggressively and get defenders turning, we put a bit of fear into teams.
Watched Rossiter closely a few times now and although he fights for every ball, he is prone to some slack passing and first touch sometimes let's him down - like today it was his poor first touch that left him stretching and losing possession that led to their goal.
We definitely lacked creativity and goal threat until Krankjar and Dodoo came on - Does Warbs not see this?
I would start both in place of Haliday and McKay and If we add add Garner and Senderos, we could be a decent team.

8.) 20 Aug 2016 20:53:20
Got to agree with windass instead of halliday. it wid make some difference. halliday and barton look to laboured at times for my liking.

9.) 20 Aug 2016 22:53:04
i reckon rossiter holt And windass.

10.) 20 Aug 2016 23:28:18
Halliday should not be in the starting eleven. He has been poor in all three SPL Games and is just not a defensive midfield player. I would much rather see Holt in there alongside Rossiter and Barton, or, alternatively, let's see how Crooks would slot in to that side. As for the attacking midfield I would look to leave McKay on the bench places are going to be at a premium and he has just not been good enough in the SPL.

11.) 20 Aug 2016 23:31:11
Good shout mushy10 but can't see the gaffer leaving out barton. i lost count how many times barton was struggling to keep up with the Well players. not sure if he's fit or not.

12.) 20 Aug 2016 19:56:23
Rossiter Kranjcar both better.

10 Aug 2016 21:15:15
Has there been any news on Waghorn yet? Looking forward to Saturday when we will really get our season underway!

Sebo

1.) 10 Aug 2016 22:11:29
Will be a tough match against Dundee. If we get 3 points at Dens, then it will be a great result.

2.) 11 Aug 2016 12:12:12
I don't care that its our first season back I still expect my team to beat the likes of Dundee and the rest of the spl teams including hearts and maybe get a good game off of celtic but people saying if we get 3 points at dens against a team we beat 4-0 last season is a great result its not its an expected result and its one we should be winning comfortably only teams strong enough to beat us sometimes is selik and maybe the sheep if they have a good game and we have a bad one I know we havnt got the players we used to have but we are rangers and its all about us!

people make Glasgow and we are the people!
never forget that as fans or the team might start going in that direction aswell we must expect to win those games.

3.) 11 Aug 2016 14:50:45
Didnt u expect to beat Hamilton? Or maybe its the we are the people attitude eh lol.

06 Aug 2016 16:13:04
Thought team looked very disjointed today. The midfield was way too deep in my opinion and the communication was non existant at times. Early days but we must get a centre half and centre forward. Hope waggys not out too long. Long way to go!

Sebo

1.) 06 Aug 2016 16:32:02
waghorns is not good enough to play wide, miller is not good enough to play. Wallace needs to learn to tackle although I thought halliday played okay.

2.) 06 Aug 2016 16:56:59
Bit harsh on miller, i would play kenny from the bench, he does well coming on as a sub, but I totally agree, the team did look very disjointed today, I was really disappointed with today's performance.

I don't think Murty will change anything. It would be abit harsh to change anyone after the last 2 games in my opinion.

Think you are being a bit harsh on Tav. Thought he played well. He was trying to start a counter attack and for me this is where our problems lie. Someone should be over filling the space that Tav leaves when he goes forward. We are far too easy to counter attack. All in all i thought there was enough there to be pleased about!
