Matondo even seen off a Hannover manager . Guy who brought him on loan was given the bullet last month. I don't think we will be hiring André Breitenreiter for manager anytime soon.

As soon as I saw that it was an option to buy, I knew he would be back . The goal he scored was shown as " look at what Rangers are missing" but we have all seen him do that occasionally for us but it still doesn't make him a good player.

See Forest striker Awoniyi has had to have urgent surgery on an abdominal injury after crashing into post. Should never have happened as was a clear offside earlier in move but assistant ref didn't raise flag. Have said since changed offside law someone would get injured.

Playing devils advocate here, why do you think that someone could sue the officials for putting up a late offside flag? Could they also sue the officials if they miss a foul and the player gets an injury. The linesman needs to follow the rules, it seems silly at times because the decision is so obvious but suing the linesman ?.

Said the same. where play is allowed to continue unnecessarily some one will take a nasty one. i can understand its where its very marginal but a lot of them are so blatantly obvious that VAR doesn't need to be involved, linesman put your flag up and stop with all the time wasting.

Agree Sima and the other balance is he puts up his flag and that is wrong, no-one is injured but it prevents a goal. everyone would be saying is that not what VAR is for. its also the first one I remember and how many of these late flags have there been so the odds of serious injury is really low odds given those facts.

Sima don't think the officials should be involved as only following laws but FIFA/ UEFA could be held liable. Not sure why they couldn't see the possibility of a serious injury happening if no flag raised especially like in Awoniyi case player was well offside.

Shanksi I doubt that would be possible. so yes the flag might have saved it but so would the player not trying to reach it when he knew he would come into contact with the post and thus result in injury. that would be where my defence would be directed.

Top seeds doesn't make any difference now as you need to play 2 teams from every pot hence why bottom seed Ceptic managed a favourable draw last season. I think winning Europa league should merit a place.

Second biggest prize in club football, something whoever wins it should get there place in cl in my opinion. Very difficult competition to win. As storm says we weren't complaining when it could have been us. Coming 2nd in league or 16/ 17th doesn't matter they deserve to be there. You could also look at it as some achievement for a club finishing in 16/ 17th to win europa, it gives hope to the smaller teams.
