Maximum of 2 players this window. Patrick Stewart today.
1.) 11 Jan 2025 18:39:25
Seems astute, let's be honest the league is done so pointless trying to get in 4 or 5 players when we could wait till the summer where we are more likely to get better deals in a bigger market.
2.) 12 Jan 2025 13:04:07
Didn`t he say we were looking for two players, a centre back and one other but it could be possible to advance the signing of other players that we are negotiating for. I take that to mean guys we are looking to sign on pre contracts for the summer. If we can shift some of the fringe players we may have some money and wages to advance these deals, and, we will need more players than just two.
08 Jan 2025 19:15:06
Cole McKinnon has joined ayr Utd til end of season good move for him and us I think.
1.) 08 Jan 2025 19:28:47
Experience and playing time, will help his development.
2.) 08 Jan 2025 19:38:13
Lending players to Scott Brown, what is the world coming to .
3.) 08 Jan 2025 19:46:41
Good luck Cole ??.
4.) 08 Jan 2025 19:47:57
Has he agreed a new contract or is that him away? I think he only has 6 months left on his deal.
5.) 08 Jan 2025 19:52:36
Wsl he will be learning from the best then.
6.) 08 Jan 2025 20:28:42
McKinnon and Fraser both be 22 when they return in the summer. They won’t have a career at rangers just like McPake, Mayo, Williamson etc.
7.) 08 Jan 2025 20:29:02
Need to get young players on loan. Get young players on loan. Rangers fan moans about what club player goes to because who is manager ?.
8.) 08 Jan 2025 20:29:24
That is correct John.
9.) 08 Jan 2025 20:37:05
John the “best” what kinda comment is that lol.
10.) 08 Jan 2025 20:41:05
If the club chose not to loan him out based upon criteria that his short term manager is an ex-Celtic player it would highlight a tone of absolute Neanderthal mentality. He has a platform to develop and someone who, as much as it pains me to concede, was a dominant midfielder offering the chance at growth, that should be enough.
11.) 08 Jan 2025 20:44:33
Contract up at end of season.
12.) 08 Jan 2025 20:51:49
Correct john.
13.) 08 Jan 2025 20:31:04
I really liked this lad hopefully his loan spell is a success.
14.) 08 Jan 2025 20:31:14
Scott brown the best John ? Not imo mate and was very overrated?.
15.) 08 Jan 2025 21:05:51
It was a tongue in cheek remark but personally I don`t think we should be helping out a self confessed hater of our club. There are lots of other clubs out there. We are not just talking about any ex Celtic player here.
16.) 08 Jan 2025 21:18:40
Don’t follow that logic - should we not have taken Kenny miller back after he played for Celtic then?
Anything that potentially benefits the club/ our players is to be commended in my book.
17.) 08 Jan 2025 21:22:00
Pithy and pathetic, its about developing one of our players not about who the manager is or who he played for. The boy will be better for it.
18.) 08 Jan 2025 21:26:44
The club focus was on progressing Cole, he had options and was his choice.
19.) 08 Jan 2025 21:31:50
Scott brown was clearly, going by his career, a very good centre mid. U don’t have to be world class tk be considered a good player. If Cole McKinnon has half the career brown did he’ll be doing very well indeed.
I thought he could’ve had a far better career if he went down south after a few years at Celtic. May not have been too 4 at the time but would’ve competed and done well. Anyone who says different have blue specs on.
Great mice for coke and same as Fraser they need it.
No expectations just see where the land lies in the summer d.
20.) 08 Jan 2025 21:34:43
I'd imagine both lads have been told if they want a new deal then earn it on loan.
21.) 08 Jan 2025 21:58:21
? rabbi that’s exactly it.
I believe Fraser may well get a 2 year deal with a year on loan, but McKinnon I think will be let go, hopefully under browns wing he can improve and perform to his potential at that level. He’s definitely got ability I rated him at b team level but I’ve not been impressed seeing him in 1st team.
22.) 08 Jan 2025 22:16:17
Whittaker assists Brown who did he play for. let's try and grow up eh?
23.) 08 Jan 2025 22:26:38
Stevie
" Great mice for coke. "
Explain please?.
24.) 08 Jan 2025 22:28:39
Its the right thing to do to send the boy to develop.
Whos in charge wouldn't change that however I'll NEVER concede anything positive about Brown.
He was a plastic hardman who lorded it over vastly inferior players.
Cretin of a guy.
25.) 08 Jan 2025 22:40:46
Fork, Stevie is talking about Cole, a great move for Cole.
26.) 08 Jan 2025 22:59:40
Glad he's going out on loan and hope it works but shame it's only at same level he was out 2 seasons ago with Partick. Development?
27.) 08 Jan 2025 23:43:37
Fork coops is on the ball that’s exactly what I meant coops ?? your clear getting used to my hundred mile per hour typing errors mate ?.
28.) 09 Jan 2025 00:47:00
Stevie it was me mate, I can remember it from a while ago you called him coke Mckinnon lol.
29.) 09 Jan 2025 05:50:11
?Makes perfect sense???.
30.) 09 Jan 2025 07:27:15
Correct fork and Stevie.
31.) 09 Jan 2025 09:01:08
How can a player develop to be Rangers quality by going down a level and managed by a relatively new manager?
A manager that is an ex player not in the same position/ type of player and overall not a great player at that IMO.
Scott Brown, a fake hard man on the pitch and got away with murder over the years especially against us.
Nowadays he tried to come across as a nice guy and that but i don't really buy it.
Never got the whole thing about being a different person on the pitch. If you are prick on the pitch then your are one off it too.
32.) 09 Jan 2025 09:04:38
Interesting that someone has referred to Brown as a "self confessed Rangers hater" when they don't know the truth in any way. When Brown left Hibernian he was desperate to sign for Rangers but Celtic offered him an obscene amount of money. I can't recall exact figures but Rangers offered only slightly more than he was on at Hibs and Celtic nearly trebled the offer. His decision was based on finances and he alienated some members of his family. So spare me the fairy story, I know some of his family members and I know the truth. Grew up a Rangers man in a Rangers family, he was advised to deny this when moving along the mate. In my opinion, for midfielders from the Premier League, he is only second to Barry Ferguson.
33.) 09 Jan 2025 10:23:35
Some just can't see past the colour of the strip he wore, whilst forgetting its about what Cole Mckinnon wants or needs.
34.) 09 Jan 2025 10:26:27
Hate to disappoint many on here but Scott Brown is a really decent lad. I hated him as a player in a Celtic jersey but off the park he’s a very different character.
35.) 09 Jan 2025 10:34:39
Sorry Beale it was u mate, it was quite late when I wrote that so maybe not on the ball haha. Aye a remember that convo your talking about.
Just aswell a don’t call him gear McKinnon ???.
36.) 09 Jan 2025 11:13:21
Correct fork and Scotty some just can’t see by the fact he played for them and even if they think he wasn’t a good player which is bs. He won a lot of trophies for them as captain and was a good player in terms of Scottish league at least. I am just gona say it some can’t see by him because of the bigot in them. They are also forgetting who his number 2 is also.
37.) 09 Jan 2025 12:27:50
I`ve stirred up a few on here and found a few Scott Brown lovers, how romantic . I don`t care who he supported and whether he grew up a Rangers fan . He joined the other mob and more than got immersed in their culture of hate, you could see it on the pitch and hear it off the pitch . If that's where McKinnon wanted to go then I don`t have an issue with HIS choice but we shouldn`t be helping out a guy like Brown .
Other comments, Kenny Miller is a completely different thing and I have no problem with players playing for both clubs. Loved Mojo, what a striker he was was .
As for Whittaker he is right down there with Naismith as pond life as far as I am concerned and unfortunately we can`t delete the fact that he is an ex Ranger.
38.) 09 Jan 2025 14:57:19
With regards to Grant Hanley, I can confirm he is a bluenose from Dumfries, so maybe not a 100% true blue but a Ranger at heart. My daughter knows his partner and recently they were looking to buy a house in Lancs. I guess he was hoping to get a move to a team in that area.
17 Dec 2024 13:03:00
Hatim essaouabbi, Moroccan plays for as far.
That’s all I know.
But we’re looking at him for the summer.
1.) 17 Dec 2024 13:58:32
Will be cheap.
2.) 17 Dec 2024 14:45:27
Yep saw this on line today, could be a good market for us.

Pose a question to all and maybe some will have knowledge of these deals somehow and be able to answer?
Cortes, can we get out of the deal? We
Must explore all avenues to get out of this deal.
Is an obligation to buy not if certain targets are Met? He's not been for since a few months into his loan deal last season.
It's a disaster of a signing in my eyes.
Ed do u know how these deals work mate? Obligation regardless? Or obligation upon meeting certain targets. ?
{Ed001's Note - it depends on the deal, but usually obligation is just that, an obligation. There have been deals where the obligation only triggered if certain targets were met though.}
1.) 16 Jan 2025 01:38:13
Obligation definition:
an act or course of action to which a person is morally or legally bound; a duty or commitment.
Genuinely not trying to be a smart ar*e but I've read this question a lot.
He is our player, the obligation has just pushed back the payment to a later date. Doubt there would be any clauses saying he has to play a certain number of games.
2.) 16 Jan 2025 04:06:31
Koppen has already stated that we can't get out of it don't know how many times this has been posted.
3.) 16 Jan 2025 05:05:17
Was a but smart arsed though blue69 wasn't it ?
Cheers Ed. Suppose we won't know til then or if Patrick Stewart comes out and tells us at some point.
I get it was about finances, however surely something in the contract has to state simple milestones in order to not be clearly avoiding the signing rules as that's what these deals do.
So to not make that obvious in the deal they may have to stipulate a few milestones which I'd bet have not been met yet. Just a theory.
4.) 16 Jan 2025 07:00:44
Like Eds obligation to the site to listen to us talk mince??.
5.) 16 Jan 2025 11:42:21
Stevie how many times do you ever listen we can't get out of it koppen has said so.
6.) 16 Jan 2025 12:53:47
Storm only now n again pal. Depends what mood I'm in ?.
15 Jan 2025 20:44:34
Anyone know why no Cortes in the squad.
15 Jan 2025 20:35:41
I absolutely would not be interested in selling hagi in the summer.
For me he's probably the best player in the team now. Along with igamane, I concede that.
Keep him next season and he should be worth £10m the following summer, he's came back an even better player than before and I'd like to see a few posters who said he wasn't good enough come in and take that back at least.
He's a class act.
1.) 15 Jan 2025 21:11:57
Stevie, everyone's entitled to their opinion and for me he lacks any kind of consistency. 1 good game in 3 is not good enough for us.
That said maybe the inconsistency comes from being played out of position because he's never a winger and not a 10 either. Personally would like to see him as an 8 before completely dismissing him. But atm I would be happy to see him go if we could recoup the money we paid for him.
2.) 15 jan 2025 21:42:34
certainly showing much more than he did before his injury
yes i tend to agree with you.
3.) 15 Jan 2025 21:56:13
Sorry Stevie I don't agree mate, Hagi has been too inconsistent since he came in. Just like most of the first team he's good in one game then mediocre in the next two. Igamane and Cerny have been better than Hagi imo.
4.) 15 Jan 2025 22:02:03
Always rated Hagi as a player, very clever player too happy to see him back playing for us.
5.) 15 Jan 2025 22:02:46
Stevie his lack of pace is the only thing that holds him back imo but he showed some lovely touches and hus pass for the danilo chance was exquisite.
6.) 15 Jan 2025 22:09:56
I agree that Hagi has been impressive since he came back, however as a club we need to learn when to sell at the right time. Too many times in the past we've failed on that with Kent and Morelos in particular.
7.) 15 Jan 2025 22:31:36
his range of passing is great but he drifted out of the game in second half. I think he has displayed that in a lot of games when he came back. I don't know why he needs that pace people talk about as he has the skin with pull backs and turns that create the space. he isn't a dribbler so pace isn't as important IMO.
8.) 15 jan 2025 23:33:55
struthy, nobody wanted kent or morelos.
9.) 16 Jan 2025 08:18:56
Tbf he was getting some treatment left on him most of the game.

1.) 14 Jan 2025 08:56:41
So apart from Le Guen PC is the worst manager in away terms in my lifetime. I had a feeling he was the worst I had seen but wasn't far off. Look at Mb too like wow.
2.) 14 Jan 2025 09:50:02
looks like a 10-15% turnaround on away form would make him quite successful.
Keeping in mind we are in the middle of a rebuild with little investment and rubbish injuries. - I think its totally possible to turn this round with improvements to the defence and more goal scorers.
Really needs to find a way to beat the away low block.
This season was always going to be transitional, probably going to take 2 - 3 windows to get a proper squad in place to judge him?
3.) 14 Jan 2025 09:51:56
but the best home form in the history of the club. bad managers don't win that many home games. I was a fan when Greig and Wallace were manager so not the worst in my lifetime. It is the away form he needs to solve. 20 points dropped and 16 behind. even if we won half of those it would look better.
4.) 14 Jan 2025 10:03:52
It's a very good record at home lads, and he's played a lot of games it's not after half a season.
I think when ye see this it explains why the board are backing hi. And why he's backing himself
Would an experienced Scottish coach not be worth looking at to help him with these away grounds and so on.? Just a different guy to lean on for advice in Scotland. ?
Don't have a clue what Alex Rae does tbh.
5.) 14 Jan 2025 10:11:54
The problem with stats like these some managers had a lot more games than others am surprised some haven't already mentioned this as they did with other stats ?.
6.) 14 jan 2025 10:14:27
he accepted a remit to transform the club from youth to first team
we accepted at the time it could get ropey, it has
we have some who can't accept, after they knew the job ahead, clement needs help from above
but he mostly needs support from the greatest fans.
7.) 14 Jan 2025 10:15:54
Camoo at every club clement has managed his results drop 10% in 2nd season.
8.) 14 Jan 2025 10:40:17
The way I've been thinking about, and maybe this is me forcing some optimism, but as soon as Clement figures out how to set up for away games in Scotland he then becomes a very good manager.
If you look at just home games, we're joint top of the league, but away games only we're 4th. But to me that's almost better than a manager being mediocre across the board cause he knows what he needs to fix to be successful.
9.) 14 Jan 2025 10:56:53
Every club Paul he won 3 league titles in a row in Belgium, find that hard to believe, every chance at Monaco though because they sold around 5/ 6 players from the team he took from 9th to 3rd in his first season.
10.) 14 Jan 2025 11:12:17
What was more impressive was he won leagues with different clubs.
11.) 14 Jan 2025 11:14:40
As soon as he figures it out? He's been here over a year, a good manager would have worked it out already. He's not a good manager.
12.) 14 Jan 2025 11:58:50
My star my mistake. His 2nd season at RC Genk in his 1st post as manager this did nott happen. 3 seasons at brugge want from 72% down to 63% then to 52%. Very same happened at Monaco, the now repeating itself at Rangers.
13.) 14 Jan 2025 12:01:50
Not a good manager Boli, different team from last season, managers do not achieve what he's done in his short managerial career if not good.
14.) 14 Jan 2025 12:29:26
Whether clement is the correct manager for us will be dictated by improving his away form but if he fails then he'll be gone but he's not a bad manager and just maybe not suited to managing in scottish football, time will tell ?.
15.) 14 Jan 2025 12:34:31
Paul big changes his second season though, 8 players started against St Johnstone that weren't Rangers players last season and 7 against celtic.
16.) 14 Jan 2025 12:59:20
So according to those stats, Beale is one of our best ever managers?
17.) 14 Jan 2025 13:01:01
Paul
Monaco had 69 points first season and 65 second season so less than 10 %
Bruges 1st season 70points second season 76 points 3rd season 72 points so an increase across his time there. can't see the win percentage dropping and the points total increasing
Genk 1st season 44 2nd season 63 points
checked on a couple of sites. Ill let the forum decide if that looks as if his won percentage would drop especially at the 2 clubs where his total points increase
oh and some managers do have more games but that means they have more chances to beat the cannon fodder in the league, which is everyone isn't it as we have the 2nd highest budget. so should their win percentage not be higher?
18.) 14 Jan 2025 13:04:58
Paul86 is that happening because of him or would have happened anyway with all the other facts available to you that you chose to ignore.
we moved on tons of players that every fan said needed moved on. we replaced them with players not even on half their salaries and you expect like for like, no actually you expect better.
you need to get a taste of reality mate or just keep hating, bitterness will eventually destroy you or at a minimum affect your mental health, .
19.) 14 Jan 2025 13:47:20
Don't pay too much attention to stats Bizzmy, that list of stats is a great example of how stats don't tell the full story.
20.) 14 Jan 2025 13:50:36
Angus yeah possibly. Just seen it on a post. I will upload it and see what we all think. Geesadodothat i don't take this site seriously at all. And over the last 12 years of rangers i have stopped letting them ruin my weekend. that's stopped years ago when they won there 3rd treble on the bounce. Deleting all my celtic supporting mates on facebook has helped massibely to be fair ??.
21.) 14 Jan 2025 13:53:48
Angus is Beale a bad manager because he has a better win percentage than clement? Best away form and up there on home form
Beale best away form of any manager bad managers (in your opinion Angus) don't win that many away games ?
We all know that answer and that's why these stats are utter nonsense.
22.) 14 Jan 2025 14:06:33
The league was a lot tougher pre 2000 so the table is being kind to the current manager.
23.) 14 Jan 2025 15:36:25
BoliB just the status with Clement are spot on, improved every team apart from Monaco but selling over 100m of players wouldn't help his cause, 3/ 4 qualify players and a few good squad players before next season will do us.
24.) 14 Jan 2025 16:45:54
He hasn't improved us. Next season now? What happened to the team gelling once settled Oct/ Nov?
25.) 14 Jan 2025 17:21:23
Angus you my replying now? because I showed you up with your post about clement being the best ever at home? What you didn't see is Beale is best ever away and he was a terrible manager ? I did expect you to you ignore it.
26.) 14 Jan 2025 17:24:00
BoliB you're failing to see it's a different team from last season, beat the tims very easily with the new team as well, wait until quality arrives before next season.
27.) 14 Jan 2025 18:19:36
So you're not going to standby your claims of the team clicking Oct/ Nov once they had settled?
I know we have new players, you went on about the players needing time to settle. Now you've moved the goal posts to next season.
So what if we beat the tims, one game does not mean progress. We've also lost twice to the tims with the same new players.
28.) 14 Jan 2025 19:00:32
Should have beat them in the final, never once said oct/ November that was Clement but I understand what he was meaning new teams take time to adjust only natural.
Time to settle is 5/ 6 months long enough for you coldo aye?
29.) 14 Jan 2025 20:02:01
I wonder what the great Walter Smith would have made of it all. Can Clement make a promising young player into a great player? I think he probably can. He has been given the rest of the season at least and so we will soon know. If he does that, then he, and Koppen, transform Rangers.
30.) 14 Jan 2025 21:49:07
Those stats make Beale look a good manager so I'm no taking much from them tbh.

1.) 14 Jan 2025 11:45:02
What are these stats based on?
Is it 20 games or 50 games kind of meaningless table.
2.) 14 Jan 2025 13:07:16
Overall stats as they stand today.
3.) 14 Jan 2025 13:12:10
sima it is based on every league game a manager has played in the Scottish league I think. That is definitely the figures for PC anyway.
oh and Clement is also tied for the longest unbeaten run in Europe for any Rangers manager.
4.) 14 Jan 2025 13:50:14
For they stats to be accurate then they would have to be measured over the same length of time. They aren't so they mean nothing.
16 points behind, only stat that matters.
5.) 14 Jan 2025 17:20:54
I thought it was overall games Europe included. Apologise if I'm wrong.
17 Jan 2025 14:06:12
Oooh that's free a spanner in the mix super copper ? this may be interesting.
17 Jan 2025 10:55:44
Angus, not to jump on u mate a meant to write this reply last nig ur, surely we must develop Lovelace as 3rd choice? We've put time and effort into him.
17 Jan 2025 10:54:45
So £9.3m for aribo so far John?
Seems a great deal to me.
17 Jan 2025 10:52:45
And if jefte was anywhere near a premier league team he'd be targeted by every single opposition manager week in week out he's not good enough, yet. He's here to learn and improve and maybe 2-3 years down line move abroad.
17 Jan 2025 10:51:32
No way but land get in goals are u mad?
Ramsdale is a far far superior keeper than butland.
17 Jan 2025 14:09:00
I prefer Kamala to diomande aswell lads. Think diomande is a poor version of kamara said that for a year now.
Kamara might be told to leave but will command over £5m so we won't be buying him.
17 Jan 2025 11:25:10
My star is the old Beale account.
17 Jan 2025 11:21:45
Perhaps king comes in and makes uk for the last game v them?
Maybe he'll show us what all the hype has been about around him.
17 Jan 2025 11:17:53
It's great to see the amount of support that's gathering for clement and koppen. I also buy into it big time Tom. And see if we're wrong and he has to go in future so what, at least we backed our man.
17 Jan 2025 11:11:14
I feel the record online is really slow at loading it frustrated the life out me and I just come out it. Only one that has a like that I don't know why.
