On the goal that was/ wasn't but was. Now I understand the rules, the team behind the descion making have to be 100% sure that the ball was over the line to give the goal, that is the rule. So does that mean unless we see the ripple of the net, all goals could be in doubt unless there is an undesputed camera angle. This could of been very important today and belies blieve we don't have the tech in 2025 to sort this out. Could you imagine if we had lost the league based on this desision, that's not far from reality. let's hope the girls smash them on Sunday and don't fall foul of poor officating.

I don't understand why we don't have goal line technology when we have VAR.
I thought goal line technology was in leagues across Europe before VAR.

TJB that is the point the tech exists but clubs didn't want to pay for it. I don't know for sure but the cameras VAR had to look at obviuosly didn't have an angle which was definite in showing the ball was over the line. we see the TV pictures but the VAR don't see those they see the cameras in stadium specifically for VAR. this causes issue when we see TV pics which show it is over but they dont.

Fair enough goal line technology is very expensive but surely we can install cameras at the corner flags looking down the line. It might not be as effective as goal line technology but would probably get 90% of those decisions correct.

It's also a pen if they can't give the goal, there's footage now of bushiri pulling Raskin away from the ball by the arm, it originally looks like he's shielding the ball in but he's actually being pulled towards bushiri.

We need a mix of both. Those that can enhance the squad and break into the 1st team along with some other quality additions.
The issue is when the "quality" additions don't work out and we all rage about the lack of value for money etc.

Ronaldinho totally loved that guy and played with a smile.
R9 as he is my fav striker of all time and came back from to career ending injuries to win World Cup and be top goalscorer also.
Maradona he was simply out of this world

Jose would be a good fit for us if we were in the CL. As we would be limited in terms of cash and therfore wouldn't have the best players, a prgamatic approach would be required ie defend and score on the break that's Joses way. In the SPL though it would require a different approach almost the reverse, do we need 2 managers and 2 teams, lol.

Agreed Tav should leave when his contact expires with a testimonial. Loyal, hard working pro on and off the pitch. Never hides and is always available. Has captianed the team through thick and thin, various manangers, Promoption to the SPL, stopped the 10, EL final, SC LC and outragous goal return. If he was in one of our better teams in years gone by he would have the honours in numbers, he is just unlucky like a few of our better palyers he came in when he did. One of the greatest attacking fullbacks the Scotalnd has ever seen.

We may have to sacrifice next season with regards to spending however i'm sure 26/ 27 we will have a full year of the new commercial revuenes behind us coming in to alow us to compete on a finalcail footing. that's not to say we can't get a bit of luck next year and they take a down turn in luck.

Appreciate your opinion Asa, I think we should have both. Its relativey rare the ball crosses the line in a game let alone saved off the line but I agree we should have the tech 100%. VAR is a whole other debate, for me I would keep it as I've seen Rangers benefit particuarly on our run to the EL final, if we had it in the league cup final a few years ago we may of had another piece of silverware. It needs to improve in Sco though.
