Disappointed to not see kasa, Cortes or Danilo included from the start today. Hopefully, they get a good run out in the second half. Maybe no point in risking any of the above coming back from injuries with two games remaining or maybe BF really doesn't fancy Danilo or Cortes. Would have been good to have a bit of natural width with two direct wingers, something we haven't seen in a while.

Hm maybe but wouldn't think so, Cortes has barely played this season so can't see him triggering any clause and Danilo doesn't appear to be any goals or games milestone that would trigger something eg hagi for 100 games, think Danilo is on 45 games and 12 goals.

If there was one player you could have back from decent years, at the top of their game who would it be? I've watched europa league game back, league games back etc and maybe it's because i'm from the more recent generation but morelos will always be one of my favourite players. i know his attitude divides opinion but what a player he was on his day.

Not saying these time periods were these players prime, just they are the players from these time periods I'd take now in their prime. Only really McCoist and Laudrup from that list had their prime years with us.
Lots of others to choose from and some tough calls, but if it had to be one from each decade when that player then reached their prime this would be mine.

Danilo has 5 goals and 4 assists in 700 minutes of league play, a g/ a every 77 minutes. Thought he played well when he came on today and made a difference ?.

Bar, Danilo done very well when he came on, he is a very good Footballer his only problem is picking up injuries, Mark why mate? goal contributions every 77 minutes why does they stats not tell the full story in games played this season?

Danilo has scored twice against them in only about 40 minutes played but that doesn't get mentioned either, Danilo is a far better footballer than he gets credited for on here, if he stays fit we would get a very good goal and assists from him.

Don't think i'm biased by my name became i know how annoying he can be at times. tav was fantastic tonight, it may be a one off and i don't think we should look to have him as our centre half obviously. over these two legs he's been unreal in there, very well played tav ??.

Fault for both goals for me 1st one let his man ghost past him and got caught under ball and should have cleared other bounced of both inside legs so let's not get a head of ourselves.

They gave everything they had. All of them emptied the tank. I'm not sure I'd say Tav was fantastic. He made some very good stops and actually did drive the team on but many of his passes were sloppy which led to us being under pressure and some of his general play was anything but fantastic. Not a dig at Tav. He gave us everything as they all did but to say he was fantastic is a bit much IMO. Great to see the TEAM dug in last night and showed some real resilience.

I thought Tav was awesome last night, always shouting at and directing the team. It's absolute madness blaming him for the first goal, but nothing I didn't expect from Storm! The ball took a huge deflection off Sterling and only the goalscorer seemed to read it. Some finish as well. Have to admit that Tav did get in the way for the second goal, but at least he was there to try to clear it! I do reckon Butland was likely to have got it to be fair.

I thought Raskin and Souttar were great. Raskin just lacks the composure going forward but defensively he controls the midfield.
Wee Barron makes such a difference in midfield as well. I think we have missed most the season since PC stopped playing him.
Tav and Jefte at fault for the goals but HEY we are through!

Why do people say he's not ambitious when you have no idea what his ambitions are. He's literally from south london, maybe he wants to be closer to his family whilst getting a better wage?
Poku may not care about Rangers and may not care to play in scotland. He's had two good seasons in league 1, maybe fancies himself in the championship to get to the prem. It's not personal and doesn't mean he's not ambitious and he might well still sign yet so let's not question his motives.

Maybe he meant this but ehl said his methods i assume to do with things like fitness and training as RM said he'd have the players running hard in preseason and this is something PC said also for example. I'm not sure what the tactics will be when but i doubt they will be an exact carbon copy of PC if that's what people are worried about and i don't think that's what ehl meant.

JR1972 igamane is 22 years old playing his first season in europe and has scored 16 goals 4 of which were in the europa league. He has often been playing out of position also and has broken into the morocco first team.
How exactly is he all hype? He's very obviously a talented footballer you'd have to be blind not to see that. The attitude some people have towards young players continuously baffles me.

I would hope so but can't see him coming in with 3 right backs on the books, unless the plan is for tav to play centre half and sterlings injury meaning RM wants another right back.
I think he's a really good player would like to have him back.

Zikos if we sign loan players we can't afford to buy to enhance our squad we have more chance of winning the league and a better chance at champions league qualification. We would then be more likely to afford the cernys/ sima etc.

At no point did he say everyone has to share the same opinion, he said everyone should get behind the team and i agree. Preseason hasn't even started yet and half the fan base are writing off the players and the manager.

Sima 100%, by far the best signing the club has made in 10 years - to be contested with bassey obviously due to the money revived for him. But for what we paid for tav and what he turned out to be. if we said to fans today we will sign a right back who's defending isn't amazing but he'll score over 100 goals for the club and take us to a europa league final and win a league tital they'd all bite your hand off.
