When they push forward they also have too much pace for us to keep a clean sheet. We can’t defend and hit on the break. We have the players to push them back so why play a risky strategy giving up possession and letting them build confidence and momentum? Gerrard done it once and we were lucky to get a result that day. The rest of the time we pressed them, and done quite well I’d say.
