So looks like Lowry is going to be sold.
This is just another player with all the talent who's wasted their career, I know the lad has had personal problems but these rumours of an attitude problem have been doing the rounds for years and I heard on a solid that he regretted signing the contract extension with us.
My question is do you think he will kick on or will he just be another to the long line of statistics of a player with great potential that faded away in the lower divisions?

Can't see him kicking on. He went to hearts last season and struggled. What level of club is he going to have to play for to get real game time? Maybe if he worked harder when he's off the ball, but he seems to stroll around and not work particularly hard when he doesn't have the ball, which is a bit of a luxury player for me. Most teams in the SPFL can't afford that type in their 11.

quite a few have come thru in recent years and unfortunately opted to move on to bigger things in england, but the club did what it could and made money out of the process, business is business, and you can’t make talent stay in any country let alone scotland.

The lad will struggle to make a career of it as sadly he has no work ethic whatsoever. Having watched him at 15/ 16 with King, McCausland, McKinnon, Devine and others, Lowry was the pick. Now his petulance and lazy attitude is in danger of losing him any chance of fulfilling any potential he had, like so many others.

He should go to Spain. He's as talented as any player at Rangers. If he focuses without distractions he can play at a very high level. That will require doing what he's told. The goal he scored for Scotland u19 v Croatia is one of the best strikes I've ever seen. The one v Hearts was high level technique and against Celtic B he ran from his own half and scored. Don't tell me he's not good enough. Hard work and discipline is what he needs to deliver, in games and in training.

There’s always so much talk about great talent being wasted due to a lack of hard work or not knuckling. Not sure there’s a great appreciation that hard work and focus a talent too. Seems not one Lowry is born with.

Yately, think it’s a bit harsh to say McRorie was a let down. Guy never put a glove wrong but in the wrong place at wrong time with Greegsy and Butland. Mind he we the only keeper who actually didn’t get beat against Celtic.

When rangers start producing g talent instead of wasting it that's when ill start listening to these people that say attitude problem he seen at rangers how long and from what age if he's that way it's because we had a hand in it and didn't clamp down earlier
When we are not producing any youth you got to look at people running it eventually and really ask are they doing enough and enough right.

Anyone else excited to the potential of our team in the next few years as regards to our youth set up.
So many great talents coming through and what could be massive savings on signings and the potential for reaping the rewards as regards to sales.

Talking about Roofe, Helander and Jack, does anyone know where Helander and Jack are in terms of being fit? As far as I know Roofe is fit again but the man's track record of injuries doesn't bode well. Also, is Steve Davis fit again? We badly need as many of our top players fit to go to the piggery next month and that includes Arfield.
