Interest from Italy this window, and he's been given permission to talk to them - however the salary that's on offer isn't comparable.
In a strange twist of fate we could see him extend and take a pay cut.

The pass lovelace played for dessers showed a nice touch too many players overbite that pass and his pace is an attribute so I think he's a player.

Jury out or not we should still be tying up Lovelace on a new deal to see if he continues to develop rather than let him walk away for nothing. He has shown enough to be worth giving him more time to recover from his injury and kick on .

Lovelace has literally just turned 19. We shouldn't be expecting the finished article from him yet. Tieing him down on a new contract or a no breaker so long as the wage is in keeping with his squad role (which I'm sure under the current regime it would be) .

Lovelace should get a new deal and a 12 month loan if he's not going to be 3rd choice next season.
He probably isn't good enough to be 3rd choice next season so if he's looking good enough for a new deal it's imperative he gets 12 months loan at a good level.

So looks like Lowry is going to be sold.
This is just another player with all the talent who's wasted their career, I know the lad has had personal problems but these rumours of an attitude problem have been doing the rounds for years and I heard on a solid that he regretted signing the contract extension with us.
My question is do you think he will kick on or will he just be another to the long line of statistics of a player with great potential that faded away in the lower divisions?

Can't see him kicking on. He went to hearts last season and struggled. What level of club is he going to have to play for to get real game time? Maybe if he worked harder when he's off the ball, but he seems to stroll around and not work particularly hard when he doesn't have the ball, which is a bit of a luxury player for me. Most teams in the SPFL can't afford that type in their 11.

The lad will struggle to make a career of it as sadly he has no work ethic whatsoever. Having watched him at 15/ 16 with King, McCausland, McKinnon, Devine and others, Lowry was the pick. Now his petulance and lazy attitude is in danger of losing him any chance of fulfilling any potential he had, like so many others.

He should go to Spain. He's as talented as any player at Rangers. If he focuses without distractions he can play at a very high level. That will require doing what he's told. The goal he scored for Scotland u19 v Croatia is one of the best strikes I've ever seen. The one v Hearts was high level technique and against Celtic B he ran from his own half and scored. Don't tell me he's not good enough. Hard work and discipline is what he needs to deliver, in games and in training.

There’s always so much talk about great talent being wasted due to a lack of hard work or not knuckling. Not sure there’s a great appreciation that hard work and focus a talent too. Seems not one Lowry is born with.

Yately, think it’s a bit harsh to say McRorie was a let down. Guy never put a glove wrong but in the wrong place at wrong time with Greegsy and Butland. Mind he we the only keeper who actually didn’t get beat against Celtic.
