Of course we have good reason to worry, that doesn’t mean we are definitely going to have another 2012 nightmare . However we need to be very careful, all expenditure needs to be carefully scrutinised. This is not a good time for playing Hagi’s wage and getting nothing in return.
Agents tend to steer their players away from clubs that there are rumours of a financial shortfall.

We are all very happy with the players that we got rid of . Some were aged, others were happy to take wage without giving anything back . But we need to remember that we were very pleased with many of these players when we signed them first . Club was as very pleased and paid decent money and paid them good wages . I am more in hope than knowledge that half the players signed will contribute much to Rangers . We might have been better buying less and buying better footballers.

I wouldn’t be very interested in free transfers . If they are any use, they are far from fee, as they demand a small fortune signing fee .
Many “free transfers, haven’t played for about 6 Mths and it will take half the season to get them fit and ready to play.

If Tav is going to be Captain next season, we can't have B F manager because if Barry has to send his captain a note re a tactic change Tav won't be able to read it.

At least 3 seasons . One isolated SPL doesn't put Rangers on top, Exceptbpt for one season . Beating Celtic doesn't win SPL if other clubs can beat us . Money isn't available to guarantee every purchase will be an asset, success after 3 seasons relies on key people having the stomach for a fight.

Jose would be well down my list . A good young ambitious manager who hasn't yet managed at the top but who is determined to get there would be my choice . He wouldn't cost the earth, but he wouldn't be stubborn like a manager who hasn't yet managed managed a top league team in one of the 5 top leagues.

All these choices need one thing . We have bought plenty of players, signed plenty of out of contract but what we haven't done is pay £6-£7 m to bring in a centre back that we can build defence around . Or a winger and a striker who will add pace and ability to our attack play . We can't sell our better players as we need them if not as starters, then as back - up.

If u ever speak to Celtic fans and if they are honest, it's only when the other side are winning that beating your Glasgow rivals is of any importance. Winning the trophies is really all that matters. At the moment after many examples of rebuilding and every rebuilding leads to another rebuilding.
