I will get slated for this, but what about Alex Gogic from Hamilton for a bit of steel in the middle of the park, every time I have seen this guy he doesn't mind doing the ugly side of the game he doesn't mind a tackle and does the simple things in breaking the opponents down just a thought.

I know nothing of him and can't say i have ever noticed him stand out mate. To be fair, was on a scottish football forum yesterday and he was being discussed and fans of other clubs said they would have him. General consensus was though, good enough for anyone excluding old firm. Not any more daft than some of the other names people throw up though mate!

Biglach62, to be honest I would rather opt for McCrorie or Edmundson as a hard racking, mobile defensive midfielder when needed. Or maybe try and find another Gattuso that has good pedigree and we can give him the right platform.

I think its time for Kamara to be dropped from the team he seems to be going backwards just now losing possesion on numerous and dangerous positions, give the boy Hagi a start on Wednesday against Hibs he seems more direct and gives us a different option going forward.

I'd go with that idea biglach62. Looking at our squad with Jack injured and Kamara's loss of form and Ojo not exactly setting the heather on fire, what other options do we have? Is Jake Hastie back at the club? If so, perhaps he can feature in the squad? Aribo hasn't really impressed me so far though he is clearly a gifted player. One other option if he is fit is to put Tavernier in right-side midfield and retain Polster at right back. Finally, I take it Kamberi is ineligible to play on Wednesday night? More questions than answers!

I'm sure Gerrard has said that he was pleased with Polster, and was talking about using him in Right midfield, isn't Jack available for Wednesday. I would go 4-4-2 on Wednesday, with Kamberi and Morelos up front, midfield of Polster, Jack, Haji. and Kent. Defence the same with Tavernier returning to RB.

I will be disappointed if we don’t sign anyone. I get that we are trying to trim the squad and keeping hold of our best players is a priority, but with Grezda, King, Murphy, Docherty and a few others all potentially leaving that’s a good chunk off the wage bill. We have Celtic on the run yet despite the biscuit tin jokes they are the ones strengthening. We are only a couple of injuries away from a problem. We will be kicking ourselves if we let this title slip because we didn’t put our hands in our pockets this window. Just one or two quality players could make the difference. Another striker and another left back should be the priority as if Borna or Morelos get injured we are in trouble.

Not convinced they are strengthening. Adding numbers yes, but no guarantee on quality or impact. Let’s focus on us, and one game at a time. We aren’t top yet, so need to stay positive without getting cocky. I am confident in our ability and squad though.

Why this big thing for McBurnie has he scored any goals at all for Swansea or any teams he has been loaned out to, I don't see what all the excitement is about, is it just because he says he is a Rangers Supporter, you have to base it on goals scored not who you support.
