Stay unbeaten up to and including old firm on 2nd jan and I will maybe have a gloat. Were foing great but its early doors not getting too carried away yet in case it bites me on the arse.

Don't think the 7 million thing is really relevant. We paid it (don't know exactly how) so that's it. But I know for me whenever teams announced I hope he's in. So much pace and skill and I think he will be crucial this season if we are to hopefully end the pain we've all felt over recent years. When I compare Kent to Hagi, i do appreciate Hagi's talent, but at this moment in time I'm not that fussed whether he starts or not.

Even when Kent's not firing, watch defenders get dragged to him as there terrified of leaving him 1 v 1 with anybody. He creates spaces for others, and even when not on it he works his socks off.

Colin, just out of interest, why do you question how Rangers signed a player at £7m, if that’s the price paid, it’s a massive club with millionaires at the healm , I don’t know why anyone question that.

I can't claim to know what the actual state of our finances are, but recent accounts show we are not in a great place and the current situation will only make it worse. The guys involved I assume know what they are doing and won't be putting us at risk. These guys seem to have the club at heart unlike the shameful gits who stripped us previously. I am delighted with the squad we have assembled and they way we are playing. Wasn't that long ago we were all watching old firm games from behind the couch. Having supported the club for over 50 years I'm not sure I could handle it if we got into financial difficulties again. Anyway, let's go and win the league.

Unbelievable some havin a go at or questioning Kent. One of our best players all season, always looks a threat, even if sometimes if it's not going his way he works his socks off. Yes could do with a few goals but giv the guy a break. Should be one of the first on teamsheet every week, IMHO.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but agreed, I thought he's been playing well thus far, and last night he had a cracker. On a bad day any player can be the weakest link guys.
I suppose the heartening thing is, we're moaning about small details with no major surgery required. Just think of where we were this time last year and the year before that etc.
WE are now the dominant team and have nothing to fear from OUR noisy neighbours.

No one is saying he doesn't work his ass off and yes he links well with the rest of the team.
But I've yet to see him actually go past a full back or beat any defender for that matter, so for me I can't see a 7mill player, just my opinion.

For goodness sake guys, Kent thru on goal and his pace and ability gets Benfica defender sent off and later hits the post with a great rubbish on goal. Give the boy a break, he is consistently our best offensive player and ran himself into the ground last night.

Bar72.if you watch properly you'll see Kent's trick is running at the FB and chopping bk. 9/ 10 it works. He has no need to get to the byline, we have barasic for that job. Some folk can't see what's in front of them.

Kri55, I can see plenty, and running AT, not PAST defenders, then chopping back just slows up the attack, allows defenders to get goalside again. I think the guy is an asset but NOT the bloody Messiah, some seem to think.

Bar72.at the pace he drags defenders and chops back allows space for our players a the edge of the box, coming onto the ball, jack goal V the Tims for one example. His form has dipped slightly but for folk to question his talent and ability is an absolute joke.

Cannot believe some are getting so worked up about poss signing jack whiltshire. It makes no sense. Can only assume u are thinking of getting the player he was 5/ 6 years ago. Its a real shame but he can't stay fit. Says he's been available for last 8 months but still west ham who wer payin him a reported 100k a week didn't play him an now released him. Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.

Work down south an always catching up wi bears on this site. Sometimes brutal an negative at times but end of day we all want the same thing. So first time poster. We should not touch jack whiltshire with a bargpole. great player but not for us at this stage as he clearly can't stay fit, as per jordan rossiter. We're playin well, seems to be a togeherness there, still got aribo an roofe who looks a player to come back. I, m confident we're going right direction. Be gental.
