Its going well. Its still early days. We are getting better. Ibrox is returning to its "dont want to go there status". We have a manager who applies a relentless and ruthless work ethic. The journey has only just begun. The unwashed are in meltdown. Us v them at Ibrox for me is when we will truly know where were at. In the meantime turn the screw by racking up maximum points and watch the timplosion! :)

‘Commonsense’. ironically the best post for a long time, my sentiments exactly. tip o the cap sir.

2.) 24 Sep 2018 07:22:41
Agree, I love it when the manager is still not happy with certain aspects of the performance. Obviously this means we will get better. We were sloppy in patches near the end yesterday but to complain about a 5-1 going on 10 tonking of a decent side shows just how far we've come.

3.) 24 Sep 2018 07:48:22
we need to get in celtic faces. that's the only way to beat them. Sitting off like we did in the last game only makes them look good.

but even getting in their faces is risky because of the pace/ quality of some of their players

confident that if we do get stuck in we would pull off a victory. hearts will be a tough game though.

4.) 24 Sep 2018 09:47:12
I just hope Gerrard falls in love with this place so much that he never wants to leave, because at some stage a premier league club will come calling and if it’s his beloved Liverpool it’s a tough choice- he is an absolute touch of class and I hope we enjoy many years with him at the helm!

5.) 24 Sep 2018 10:13:33
True Geopac3 but I'd hope that only Liverpool will. turn his head I wouldn't see why he would want to go places like Watford, Brighton or Southampton unless of course it's down to money!

There truly is no comparison!

6.) 24 Sep 2018 12:28:04
I believe that he is here to serve his apprenticeship. Liverpool is undoubtedly his ultimate goal but there's boxes to be ticked for that to become a reality. Winning trophys including a league title would improve his cv. Europa and CL experience would too. Its a winner for us as when he moves on he should have our club in mind for loans/ sales of players etc. Him and Rangers can both win.

7.) 24 Sep 2018 12:57:46
I don't think that would be a tough choice for him at all, and who could blame him for that. Like Kazmania said, hopfully it'll only be Liverpool and hopfully not for a few years.

8.) 24 Sep 2018 14:36:32
Just need to hope Liverpool continue playing the way they have been for the last 9 months and we won’t have anything to worry about.

9.) 24 Sep 2018 15:38:50
Realistically, he has to prove himself and there is no harder choice than Rangers! #FACT

He's only going to improve his CV

If he can somewhat win the league first year of asking and get to knockout stages of Europa He has done tremendously well

Even getting second place first year of asking (To Hearts hopefully) and Europa knockout stages along with a domestic cup he would've delivered in my eyes!

I take my hat off to the man and Gerrard will forever be one of us now

To put any doubts to bed, whatever he liked about Celtic will be long gone I'm sure he owes Rangers lots of gratitude aswell for believing in him from an inexperienced point of view

My God, if this pulls off A MASSIVE WELL DONE to Davie King and Mark Allen

Gerrard oozes class and the last time we had that type on the field was Brian Laudrup and Walter Smith as Manager

Keep up the work Gerrard and Co. We are loving getting our Club back where it truly belongs.

10.) 24 Sep 2018 22:39:41
Sorry guys, I meant if a “BIG” premier league club comes calling he’d have a tough choice- if he does a great job here- the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth, Huddersfield and Watford’s couldn’t attract him! He is an English legend, won major trophies and captained his country- if the job here is well done only the “BIG” clubs could attract him away, this is Stevie G we’re talking about not some has been like Brendan Rodgers were talking about😂.

11.) 25 Sep 2018 22:00:51
I agree with the seeker and was dismayed to see our defence fall asleep near end of second half. Was horrified with that back pass near miss thinking here we go again conceding in the latter stages of the game. Thankfully Saints missed several chances we gifted them.
but what an outstanding result and hope we keep the momentum going.

12.) 27 Sep 2018 11:59:35
Rangers is just a platform for SG to learn his trade. compitition in Scotland only 2 teams that win the league Rangers or Celtic so Scottish football isn't great. eat out of a bad bunch. For SG to learn with Rangers is great opertunity for both of us. Every one comes to Scotland so the can move on to England. We are early days we have momentum and winning. (Feels great) EVERYONE is going on about Sunday. St Johnston aren't a great team. We didn't fair to great with bigger teams so far. Draw aberdeen, manky mob beat us. So early days we will soon see how we get on against hearts.

08 May 2018 22:19:29
Whilst not the result we wanted, that point could be crucial. We have one game left not to lose to guarantee Europe. HIVs need to win 2 games. Jambos might do us a favour tomorrow. Ideally we beat HIVs and sheep lose. 2nd place still possible but given how were playing its unlikely.

commonsense

1.) 08 May 2018 23:39:18
Ibs get a draw tomorrow and beat rangers and Celtic win hibs are in 2nd place and even if we stay in 4th if celtic win Scottish cup jibs still in Europe

2.) 08 May 2018 23:49:03
I don’t think 2nd is unlikely at all, infact only losing against Hibs will stop us being 2nd. If Hearts beat Hibs we would need to lose 5-0 in last game to not finish above Hibs. If Hibs draw or win they will either be 2 points or goal difference worse off than us so again a draw for us guarantees we stay above them and unless the Sheep take anything from celtic park a point would see us finish 2nd on goal difference ahead of Aberdeen and Hibs.
Predictions for final games
Hearts 1 Hibs 1
Ceptic 3 Aberdeen 0
Hibs 1 Rangers 2

3.) 09 May 2018 05:20:06
Aberdeen will beat Celtic on Sunday, sporting integrity out the window if they can stop us finishing above the sheep . They will rest players for the final and take it easy against Aberdeen,

4.) 09 May 2018 06:24:19
Hibs midfield are going to bully our midfield reckon we have missed Jack since his injury.

5.) 09 May 2018 08:03:27
Why is Sean Goss not playing? he has it all! he was awesome until the 3-2 defeat to that mob get him back in the side for the t’hibbs

6.) 09 May 2018 08:17:16
Problem we have is mccrorie and morelos suspended, dorrans and Jack injured.

Will need to shuffle the pack. Who has it in them to step up?

7.) 09 May 2018 08:33:10
You can be sure Celtic will be playing their reserve team against the sheep and will lose

8.) 09 May 2018 09:19:41
Second place not important. If we are third or fourth we play extra Euro tie worth 1 million plus. Only get 300k extra for second
Europe is what counts

9.) 09 May 2018 09:22:27
It’s not what they do that will determine where we finish. Ten defeats six draws our problem

10.) 09 May 2018 11:57:36
with mcrorie suspended and dorrans, windass and jack all injured cld we not play a mid 3 with holt goss and doc

stick rossiter / barjonas on bench just in case

i think mcrorie will be a big miss on sunday as hibs midfield normally bully us

time for doc to come back in and show is what he’s made of -

you never know cummings cld been saving a goal for the HIVS

11.) 09 May 2018 12:06:12
3rd is embarrassing enough never mind 4th. Aberdeen will beat Celtic and finish 2nd for sure but Hibs won't beat Hearts tonight. All we need to do is draw with Hibs for 3rd even if they manage to beat Hearts

12.) 09 May 2018 13:21:40
I thought we played well when we went 4-4-2 last night.

Id start that against hibs.

Alwick
Tav bates martin Halliday
candias holt goss Murphy
morelos cummings

23 Feb 2018 23:48:09
For me its simple. Beat hearts. After that let's wait and see how results pan out. Beating Celtic in the next old firm would be massive for us but also rattle them. Pressurising Celtic is when we will find out what they're really made of. They are champions. We are not. yet!

commonsense

1.) 24 Feb 2018 02:19:33
Well said commonsense We need to take one game at a time

2.) 24 Feb 2018 02:22:46
I was hoping Celtic would get past Zenit. Guaranteed they would have dropped more league points if they had. Let's just take it one game at a time

3.) 24 Feb 2018 08:08:33
A lot to play for yet, one game at a time. Celtic will drop more points if we can keep the pressure on. Their bubble will burst.

All I ask for is give them a run till end of season, see where it gets us.

After last 2 seasons, I’d take second having closed the gap, this time last year, celtic had the league tied up.

Close second and silverware of sorts, along with beating them at least once was my realistic want at the start of the season. Still doable

4.) 24 Feb 2018 09:59:48
Do you think we'll beat hearts today, i've got serious doubts guys.

5.) 24 Feb 2018 10:46:53
Your not the only one we are crap at ibrox and fear some are getting too carried away saying aberdeen will do us a favour tomorrow but we seem to keeo shooting our own foot

13 Oct 2017 23:16:28
Finally I saw what we have been crying out for. a bit of fight and passion. Pena is still a bit slow but his finishes were outstanding. Dorrans fantastic. Alves class. A very positive evening. Back in your box St Johnstone gob shi*es.

20 March is when I want to win title. Hopeful celtic can hold out that long although February looks difficult for them. Can't see us dropping much in February. 55 at the 🐷🐖🐽 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

commonsense

1.) 21 Jan 2021 07:22:08
am i right in saying celtic need to win every match until march and if we do the same we can win the 55 at porkheid? jings lads are you having a laugh? what chance is there of that happening? they haven't won a game all year? i honestly think it will be won before that .

2.) 21 Jan 2021 08:04:26
Nah, want them to keep slipping up as I am loving this and want us to wrap it up asap.

3.) 21 Jan 2021 09:12:24
I want it won ASAP as you don’t know what could happen with C.V.

4.) 21 Jan 2021 09:53:52
Celtics fear is the natural order is about to be restored. 😊 normally I don't gloat but even by rangers issues standards a few years ago this is comedy of the highest Orange order 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

5.) 21 Jan 2021 09:56:06
I would like us to win the league before then, and have them applaud us onto the pitch, before the first team then fly out to Dubai to prepare for the Champions League.

6.) 21 Jan 2021 11:15:05
Let’s win it ASAP and go to them as Champions.

7.) 21 Jan 2021 12:12:06
Think they need to draw one more game for us to win at park and win title or if they lose one I think a draw would be enough . That is if we win all our games until then . How sweet would that be .
I think they will need a lot more heras.

Lots of opinions on possibly signing Wright. Surely our business model is geared towards this type of signing. Low cost therefore low risk. Kamara bought for buttons and will sell for multi millions and clear our debts. I personally would prefer us to sign Nisbet #55inbound.

commonsense

1.) 12 Jan 2021 13:54:24
100% on Nisbet.

2.) 12 Jan 2021 13:56:19
If weight is worth a quarter of kamara s value at any point is his rangers career mate I would be shocked to the core.

3.) 12 Jan 2021 15:54:35
Nisbet for me is worth a punt 👍.

I don't mind Tav as a player but get real. Never in a million years is he a Rangers captain. Not one who will drive a team to trophies. He just hasn't gut the blood, guts and thunder that's sometimes required in Scotland. i'd give it to Goldson for now.
