I think Davis is past it to be honest, tail end of last season he kept losing the ball and hasn't looked great in preseason either. I also wouldn't rule out bids coming in for Kamara.

Maric is ideal replacement for Morelos, but Zungu does not excite me at all! Approaching 30, last year of his contract and playing for a team that got relegated. from the french league! As I see it, Davis will not play regularly, Kamara is a risk in tough games and goes missing. I have to believe that Zungu will be the first choice for that position. What is more, commercially this move is major since it will open up the South African Market to us.

something is not write with the squad since the winter break could it be true about gerrard losing the dressing room.
I like gerrard but some serious questions need to be asked off him now
He is responsible for keeping team morale up but all i see him doing is hammering the players morale even when we do win some times he criticises them.
If the rumours are true and he has lost the dressing room then there is only going be 1 outcome and that involves gerrard leaving,
this could turn out to be a expensive and a turnover of a lot players again
for this reasaoan.

I think gerrard has been to loyal to some of these players and thay have let him down badly. he needs to change the formation of the team as all the other teams know how we play. i think the formation is good for playing in Europe but not in the league. now that it is almost over its time give a few of the fringe players a chance nothing to loose and it might surprise us all.

we have totally capitulated since the winter break. Not for the first time. The early warning signs were there at the Stranraer and St Mirren. We were awful in both games. A serious inquest into what has happened required at Murray Park. Every single player can't suddenly go miles off form after a 3 week break. Every single player has been awful since the break which certainly points to the deressing room being lost. Gerard's decision making is baffling too and he needs to take responsibility too.

Not surprised he’s losing the dressing room. One bad game and you’re dropped, unless you’re one of his pet players (Goldson, Kent, Aribo, Tav) then you can have as many as you want and never get bombed out. Then any time we lose because he is tactically inept he chucks the players in front of the bus and says “they didn’t want it enough†despite everyone knowing exactly how we will play and how to cause us problems.

We do seem to be off the pace sharpness wise and it’s baffling tbh, the quick high press was killing teams. Our first XI is strong enough to beat anyone in the league, when we lose key players we def struggle and aren’t the same team in any phases of play. Hopefully we can get our best team on the park and get a run going again. Without pressure Celtic will continue to run over teams.

warburton remit at rangers was to get us promoted he done this but as for the rest of things in the job I certainly do not see the improvement he is ment to big on player development but the only player I see in our team that has developed further is mackay he is ment to be big on fitness but do not see this on the pitch looks the opposite on the field ment to be big on youth players yet none of our youth players seem to get a chance even when our first team stars are not performing was ment to add value to the squad on and off the field do not see any value in this squad of players part from mackay possibly rossiter if ever fit and maybe fordingham so not a lot of value added to the squad on and off the field so far
has to get us second in the leauge he is on course to do this.
so looking at the things 6 things above he is on course to achieve 2 out of 6
you can say he hasn't been giving money to spend but the money he has spent has not been spent Wisely

Player developmemt is over the course of multiple seasons not half a season. Fitness has definetly improved but like similar teams in the epl it is hard to keep high tempo for 90mins playing the way we do. Young players is 3-5 type plan, if they aren't close to being good enough not much he can do. Adding value is inevitable as the vast majority of the guys we got for free so any transfer fee is adding value. 2million for 22 players is pretty good in my book. i don't know if you expected people like forreter to kick on and be sold for 15mill and a team full of teenagers but its not going to happen. Improving the youth system would be 1 youth player a season getting into the 1st team aquad and adding value is signing someone for free and selling them for a couple of mill after a couple of seasons

We as fans need get right behind the players at ibrox and give them support to make this place a hard place to come for teams again and back who ever is in charge.
I think the club needs look at getting director football in place first then manager.
And in transfer market we need look into foreign markets for players.
I wansnt a favour of loan players before but i think our club should give serious consideration to exploring this option each season and bring 2 3 good players in on loan that can make a diffrence to the team.

We can appoint any manager, from any part of the world. He can sign players, loan players, promise to develop youth. He can do and say whatever - Doesn’t matter.
As soon as we get a few bad results sentiment will move towards sacking him. A bad defeat to Celtic and it starts to tip over the edge. Come January he’ll be judged on the limited work he can do in that window. He will be expect to close the points gap and win the Scottish cup amongst other things before the end of the season. Also, I don’t think our fans will ever fully back these players. Do you see a time when they are cheering on Desser and Tavernier? I honestly can’t. Ronald de Boer said Dessers is a confidence player and that must be in the toilet. Not only is he getting booed and labelled a horrific signing, but it seems the manager has just lost his job because the guy is badly underperforming. Dessers may never come back from this.

Craig Graeme Souness does not want to manage anymore has said publicly many times over. Be it Rangers or anyone else.
Once you think about good foreign managers it is then the question why would they want to come and manage in this league with a limited budget.
A name that gets floated about a lot is Knutsen at Bodo Glimt, it’s been said on here that he didn’t want to go to Celtic so realistically would he come to us?
He has a good reputation for developing young players and his teams play a certain way but don’t know much more about him.
Then there is British managers again you would at best be looking at the Championship or lower, the same names as last year would be mentioned like Russell Martin, John Dahl Tommason I mentioned last year the current Blackburn manager, done well when he came in and currently they are sitting at the lower part of the table, but without following them we don’t know what finances are available to him etc, but would they managers want to come here? It’s an honest question.
I’m not going to throw any Scottish names out there because they tend to get the not for me reply and that’s fine but looking at it pragmatically then would not be surprised if we do go down that route.
Muscatt was another name mentioned last year that we didn’t pursue.
