I genuinely believe DMcn wasn't the answer as to the next Rangers manager. For a start I think the next man needs a good pedigree at a big club where a winning mentality is expected and trophies essential. Derek already fail s in that regard. His pathetic results against Celtic prove this especially with Delia in charge of many of these encounters. I also think it's worth to remember that Rangers, Hearts, Hibs and Dundee utd were absent from a good few of the second place finishes. A league cup victory almost 4 years ago doesn't give me much confidence in his ability to change Rangers fortunes. Add to that his inability to make the euro league group stages I feel we haven't missed out on much. Also being turned over twice in a week by Murty convinced me that sticking with our interm until the right appointment comes to the surface ain't that bad. merry Xmas bears.

Hard to disagree with any of that, Iain. Whoever said DM was going to be some kind of saviour for us should look closely at his record in crunch games. Serial bottler.

mcinnes is happy in his own little comfort zone, the only thing our club done wrong was think that he would run all the way to ibrox, we are better off without him, so let's move on and find a better manager who will take us forward, there will be better days ahead for us

Was interested to hear Danny Wilson's post match interview. He cleary stated he had been fit for the last few months. I was under the impression he was injured according to Pedro's pressers. Was he another senior Scottish player being treated to the Portuguese cold shoulder? Am personally glad the tenure is over and the bull will stop. onwards and upwards.

Couldn’t care if Wilson was fit fir 6 years he’s not Rangers class, Pedro was doing Us a favour there.

I have mixed emotions about Pedro, yeah not winning 3 games in a row he’s got to go but he was trying to play a better football style for us to watch. I would have given him to 31st of Dec, then new manager if results weren’t good enough had nearly a month with the squad before our next game.

Don’t know who I want but def not Murty he’s still learning the game that’s why we got rid of Pedro. We need a manager with a win ratio of 65%+ in a European league with credibility.

2.) 29 Oct 2017 08:54:59
Murty got a result at the midden with a far weaker squad than Pedro had. still learning the game? What utter b@###cks you talk. So you want a European manager with no experience of the spfl? Mmm. Sounds familiar, sparky

3.) 29 Oct 2017 09:37:12
Spot on Riffy! Murty has shown more class, knowledge and an tatical understanding of the team and how it should be set up in the league than PC, and Warburton for that fact, ever did. What is this big clamour for a European manager? 3 European managers in the last 19 years with 2 major flops. And for all of the millions at his disposal, wee Dick never got us through to the next stage in the champs league. Yeah, we played some great football but it wasn't good enough! Those nights are a very distant memory now! Right now we need a manager who will come in and get our team playing a style of football which spl teams will find hard to beat and inject some steel into a team of underachieving softies. What we can't ever do again is pull a nobody from total obscurity and hand him a near £10 million transfer kitty to pi*s up a wall. If lessons are not taken on-board from this farce then the game's a bogey!

Congratulations to Kenny Miller. Great player and servant to our club. Had the pleasure of meeting him at the casino on two occasions and he is a top bloke. He is all the youth players need for inspiration and guidance. Joey Barton was meant to offer these qualities and let the club, the fans and our players most shockingly our rising stars down. The evidence is damning. So let's get back to the form of last season and enjoy winning matches like the last to games with our capable squad of good pro's.

The form of last season? Hope you're joking. It tailed off around January. I agree with your praise of Miller but a fact's a fact and he's 36, good but well past his best and we should wake up to that. Must admit I don't know if Garner is the answer and his play acting and faking fouls is annoying. Maybe Warburton doesn't know that's not the Rangers way and it's okay down south but Weir should. To me that's worth more of a suspension from the club than Barton got and Barton's only crime is too much passion.

2.) 15 Oct 2016 08:13:11
Congrats to Kenny he deserves to join the 100 club. Legend.

3.) 15 Oct 2016 09:46:55
Kfraser, Barton is a tool. End of. Secondly, Miller played his best football in the latter stages of last season as he had to step in for an injured Waghorn. Prior to that he came off the bench in games.

4.) 15 Oct 2016 15:26:05
Very well done kenny on scoring your 100th goal for rangers. You now join an elite club. What a role model and total professional kenny miller is. Still at 36 years old he's the top striker at rangers! I've also met him and he's a top bloke. Kenny miller is now a glasgow rangers legend! Totally convinced kenny miller will be the rangers manager one day.

good morning fellow bears. we are back where we should have always been. let down by people we intrusted our great club with not to mention SFA and fellow clubs. We have came through a tunnel of hatred in the Scottish football world and maintened dignity as our club was destroyed by criminals (not proven and will probs never be) and been defiant and supportive to the hilt apart from the Ashley/ Easdale attempt at power.
However we have been saved by our own people and ourselves the fans. Sir Ally may have acted as our saviour but is rubbish coaching and twelve month gardening leave as the fans tried to salvage us from a dreaded 2nd administration told me a million story about 'the legend'.
Anyway thanks have to made to many people some Rangers and others people who took the club to there heart from there time in Glasgow. First Stuart Mcall who began the difficult turn around on the park but needs credit for his attempts. John Brown and Richard Gough for the vocals to warn our fans of the parasaties whom were ruinning our club (Alex Rae aswell) . Hover the three bears and Dave King were the medicine that slowly killed the poison (thankgod) .

And on to last nights promotion it was both refreshing and well timed to see tweets from ex players who didn't shaft us in our lowest moment and transfered there contracts before going to pastures new (take a bow Davies, Bedoya, edu, Bogenegra, Goin, Alexader;little, maculoch) All that said with the exception of the great Davies one man 24 years at the time Lee Wallace sacrificed bigger contracts and International recognition to stay with us and in the modern day of footballers is a rare breed and will always be MY GREATEST RANNGER. Take a bow Waldo you have earned it ten fold! (i had season book from 92-2011) Moved away for carear reaons but always follow closely

Was also humbled by comments by De Boer bros, nachoNova. Mols, Numan, Love krands, vuckic, Adam and Lucas Podolskie?
We are back and football is a better place

From a personal point of view am delighted big Davie Weir.

Am living on the republic of Ireland and am lead to believe premier sports was created by an Irish man in Luxembourg but ironically only can be accessed through sky/ virgin in the UK for 10 pounds a month, not in the ROI. hope to stream or get highlights on RTV.

We are no longer THE PEOPLE at this stage according to the negetive comments made by so many bears. Its been a longer JOURNEY than first anticipated back in 2011 post financial meltdown. there's been more bruises and embarrassing results than we would have liked or anticipated. However let's be positive with a new season beckoning .

As far as i know Newcastle invested 60mill plus on players (all mid to attackers) Must have forgot about defence. Remember going to the Mcoist testamonial in 92/93 against them and trading scarfs outside ibrox. Good fans and don't deserve Ashley any more than we did (and still do btw) instead of celebrating there second relagation of his LOANERSHIP we should sympithise with our fellow victims and regard ourselves fortunate we have shacked the person off for now, however his claws are still well and truly scratching the surface of our great club and no remedy can remove him atm.

Good luck Newcastle and there great supporters (and any sport Direct employees) MA's empire is declining as we speak and he deserves misery, not gers and geordie fans who love there clubs and support them both on and off the park. no surrender to corrupt investors.
