Lafferty for a few hundred thousand i would take but it hearts want 1 mil or over witch i think they will want i would rather Moult if we need to spend that money
he played less than half the time Lafferty did last season and he got 4 goals less and 1 more assist
Lafferty 2729 mins - 12 goals
Moult 1166 mins - 8 goals
and i know he scored free kicks last season but i don't know if moult took the free kicks at motherwell so if he did not and Lafferty did and only scored 4 more goals think moult is the guy to go for.

Lafferty has a ton more of international experience, is a great add to the squad with proven goals in this league, knows what it’s like to have been at our club, he’s 30 which is just about right age for understanding his role as a squad player- For me it’s Lafferty all day, no brainer.

No way Lafferty worth anything like £750k. He is 31 and past his best. Would be a good squad option for us for this season and the £200m was a fair offer. Could sweeten by offering couple of loanees.

if we go for the striker from osijek rather than pay the 3m they want can we not offer 2m or 2.5m and loan them grezda back for the season
he did well for them before he got injured was ment to be one of the best players in that league
and it would get him game time and he might come back next season better sure he was out for a while before we got him.

The striker is coming from that league too. If Grezda was one of the best players then what does it say about him? Suppose big Katic came from there too. Not sure what to make of it tbh.

gutted about that last minute goal but could see it happening they had all of the ball the last 15-20 mins think we lost it when we put glen on
goldson had a bad day but can't ask him to play all these games without having a bad so can't blame him for his performance today
think we should have played arfield from the start we might have won.

if jamie murphy is going to be out for a few months i hope we go for jordan jones think he had a very good game today
when murphy comes back we could lone jones back out in jan or loan glen out for the last 6 months if he has not had enough game time by then.

Yeah judging by Stevie G reaction in interview it doesn’t look good for Murphy at all. Not only that the two centre halfs took nocks and if one of them is out we have real problems 🇬🇧.

Murphy's injury is almost certain to see the lafferty deal going thru very soon imo. The big guy is comfortable playing left side as well as lone striker.

If Murphy is out long term I don't think we need to replace him, we have options in wide areas also means we could use Flanagan and barasic at full back and move tav further forward.

if we get big kyle lafferty we still need to get a centre back as cover plus a creative midfielder
we lost josh who scored us 18 goals last season and i don't see the young boy from liverpool scoring anywhere near that amount
but it will be in the loan deal just like kent he must play x amount of games or we will have to pay liverpool money same as kents last club think it was 700k they had to pay
so we will see ejaria in there most games but i just don't see him scoring a lot
wee need goals from the midfield also same as last season we cannot leave it all up to morelos or whoever is up front
so 3 weeks left let's see who we can bring in.

We don’t need to replace Windass, he’s a number 10 and we don't play with a formation to suit a number 10. We could do with a back up defender but McCrorie can cover if required. I’d like a proper striker to lead the line properly but we might have make do with Morelos and sadiq.

i think Middleton is just as good as kent if not better but we will see more of kent this season because if we don, t play him enough we need to pay money to liverpool
i would have rather Candieas and mcrorrie was put on rather than both the liverpool boys as there more defensive minded.

Hardie will only be on 750-1000 per week because he is not a first team player
so even if we loan him out and next year and don't get him on a new contract i think we still get the 250k compensation because he came came through our youth ranks so we won't lose money if it does not work out
