guys, when you watch a game involving rangers and a controversial incident happens then just flip it round. if cosgrove had done that to goldston what Morelos did with McKenna would you have said sending off for both. if shinnie had pulled arfield down like Tavernier did with Ferguson would you have said penalty. if goldston had handled like McKenna did would you have said penalty.

I thought the game was brilliant by the way, Scottish football at its best.

lance Armstrong

1.) 07 Feb 2019 10:33:21
If Morelos was sent off for dangling his foot over McKenna then its no sending off, there was no stamp, if however he was sent off for simulation, then I 100% agree. McGregor definite penalty. Tav. same and utter stupidity.

2.) 07 Feb 2019 10:51:21
2nd 2, yes
1st one was handbags over 10 yards, if the Dons player hadn't kicked out - before that at a BIG push 2 yellows. Once ref had made the decision on Mckenna, given the carry on over the last week or 2 he had no option to send morelos off as well.
look forward to you analysis of the other game when elbows were flying freely I believe?

3.) 07 Feb 2019 10:59:54
What a load of tripe lance on your bike 🚲 you’re having a laugh with that comment.

4.) 07 Feb 2019 11:03:13
I have just watched it again and I think both reds are harsh. There was no contact by either morelos or mckenna. Morelos going down holding his face makes the refs decision. I reckon if morelos doesn't go down rolling about then both stay on the park. 👍.

5.) 07 Feb 2019 12:06:46
so tin hat, do you only see it one way? bar 72, brown should have been off for his tackle and the hibs boy tackle on issaguerrie was a sending off all day.

6.) 07 Feb 2019 12:15:17
Good stuff Lance
A bit off sense, that won't do you know.

7.) 07 Feb 2019 12:21:53
If you watch it Morelos slaps McKenna and stands on his baws 100% a red card, and McKenna aims his studs and tries to kick Morelos in the face, both red cards fully deserved, referee had a good game considering the way the game went.

8.) 07 Feb 2019 13:35:37
Thought the ref got every decision 100% correct, except the mcgregor one. red card and pen all day long no idea what shagger was up to. Your right tho, what a gsme of footbsll. Can't believe folk eould rather watch the overrated pub league over the border than a game like that.

9.) 07 Feb 2019 15:19:00
Morelos, McKenna and McGregor red cards all day long.

10.) 07 Feb 2019 15:49:18
Coldo - pictures doing the rounds showing there was contact on morelos face . He is lucky McKenna didn’t make full contact or he would still be out cold .

11.) 07 Feb 2019 16:04:19
Guess we are going to brace our selves losing both players for
The cup game the buffalo was, looking
The 10 million player everyone
Thinks he is but who wants a player
Sitting in the stand every 3 games.

12.) 07 Feb 2019 16:52:58
I have not saw the pictures gers09 so I could stand corrected👍.

13.) 07 Feb 2019 21:10:59
Seeker add Lewis Ferguson to your list.

14.) 09 Feb 2019 12:00:23
Aye definitely Ferguson should have seen ted as well.

Getting told today to get my money on a mam who is not even in the betting for next manager. Don't know if worth a fiver. UWe rosler Fleetwood town. Sure he managed Brentford when mw was sporting director.

lance Armstrong

1.) 16 Feb 2017 19:16:16
There might be wheels to this one
After all that Brentford link is in there

2.) 16 Feb 2017 22:29:06
Getting told today?
What are you talking about - what's the Brentford connection got to do with anything - surely we would be moving away from that and fleetwood town -? I mean I know things are bad but really let's be the laughing stock!
I think this is absolute nonsense

3.) 16 Feb 2017 22:29:58
There is no Brentford link that went soon as warburton went.

4.) 16 Feb 2017 22:14:16
Please no more brentford lol

5.) 17 Feb 2017 00:21:01
This is turning into a comedy page, not a rumours page.

6.) 17 Feb 2017 09:22:41
In my opinion it's pretty certain that we will appoint a manag r who understands the demands of the club. Forget guys like Uwe Rosler. Realistically McLeish, Wright or Davies (wouldn't pay for McInnes)

After 5 years of bad times it must be great to be able to watch a champions league team 6 times, that must be worth the season ticket money. watching big time players like brown dembele tiernay Armstrong.

lance Armstrong

1.) 23 Apr 2017 17:37:24
Think if we want to watch champions league players we will watch teams that are proper champions league teams with players like Messi, Suarez and Ronaldo. Your team didn't exactly fair very well against 2 of them. Slipping to a narrow 7-0 defeat

2.) 23 Apr 2017 18:52:19
Yes mate it was an honour to see your £100 million star striker fall on his arse and injure himself. lol

3.) 23 Apr 2017 18:54:51
Champions league team? You mean whipping boys with ideas above their station and equally deluded fans? Best team in Scotland aye but hardly anything special are they?

4.) 23 Apr 2017 19:27:52
Ruined it by saying brown. Celtic didn't even get out their group

5.) 23 Apr 2017 22:00:06
Lance Armstrong

Big time players? The real big time players were playing in Madrid tonight sorry but those players you mention don't even get close to these players. They might be big in Scotland but they are nowhere near the real big time players

02 Mar 2017 19:36:04
Hearts have d. o f and already lost robbie Neilson, young cathro looks like he is struggling. Question is who do you blame? Is it his players or is it leveim players and cathro just coaches them. I think d. o. f is a dangerous road to go down.

lance Armstrong

1.) 02 Mar 2017 19:59:36
I am just pleased that we didn't go for Cathro! I guess that Robbie Neilson was not an easy act to follow! Our next manager won't have that problem!

2.) 02 Mar 2017 20:28:12
Cathro would not have lasted long at rangers. I still find it difficult to have a manager younger than some players. Only problem Tom is the manager can't be judged on the rest of this season if he comes in now.

3.) 02 Mar 2017 22:43:05
Fully agree Lance; with the length of time that the Directors have taken to make these appointments I would like to think that they have been doing their homework and not just tossing a coin and hoping it comes up heads!

I would like to think that the new manager will be given a transfer kitty, (don't ask me how), so that he can bring in his own players. I reckon that a number of our players are underperforming and hopefully they will perform for the new guys!

4.) 02 Mar 2017 23:44:12
I think the fact that they have been interviewing candidtes for the best part of three weeks, drawing up shortlists, carrying out the due diligence you all scream for, studying the 'form' so to speak, not diving in head first, ascertaining what each candidate could bring to us under restrictive circumstances, all point to something a little more professional than 'tossing a coin'.

28 Feb 2017 17:12:43
Alex Neil now favorite for the job. Good young manager with more expirence tham when he left Hamilton.

lance Armstrong

1.) 28 Feb 2017 17:46:52
Would have him in a heartbeat but will never happen.

2.) 28 Feb 2017 18:05:09
25 to 1 to evens somebody on it?

3.) 28 Feb 2017 21:45:28
would need to pay compensation though, but good manager.

4.) 28 Feb 2017 22:07:28
I keep reading that we need someone with experience at a high level. Neil has been a manager for less than four years, a whole year more than Barry Ferguson. He also hates Rangers. I can never see a Rangers board ever who would think the appointment of Alex Neil as manager was acceptable.

5.) 28 Feb 2017 23:18:30
so what he is a celtic fan, he has done well at Norwich and Hamilton and that's all that should matter!

6.) 01 Mar 2017 07:31:13
mo Johnson, Neil McCann, amoroso, gattuso, porrini, novo and many more.
stein, mcgrain, dagliesh, provan and many more.
get a life who cares what team they supported, this rubbish is only relevant if your Scottish or Irish for some reason.

7.) 01 Mar 2017 07:38:11
It's pathetic isn't it? It shouldn't be relevant at all

8.) 01 Mar 2017 15:09:58
@wee-ecky- he's achieved a hell of a lot more in his 4 years as a manager than BF. You're another one who needs to move on from the year 1690 to allow the club to progress.

9.) 01 Mar 2017 17:00:29
Alex Neil does not hate rangers. He is not a Celtic fan

10.) 01 Mar 2017 18:01:00
Do u think Alex Neil will want to b the guy that stops 10 in a row then go back to visit family in Coatbridge. i don't think so

11.) 01 Mar 2017 17:51:30
why shouldn't it be relavant?
i hate celtic and if i played for them i'd give 100 percent but if i was managing them to be honest i'd try run them into the ground.

so if he hates rangers which he has all but admitted then why the hell would we want him in the managers job

11 Feb 2017 09:19:27
Everyone jumping the gun a little. The rangers job is not like our jobs where you get paid off and they let you work till the end of the week

Why did they take training and do the press conference yesterday if they had resigned earlier in the week?

lance Armstrong

1.) 11 Feb 2017 10:35:07
Lance, like everything at Rangers just now it doesn't seem to make any sense to me either the way this shambles has been dealt with.

2.) 11 Feb 2017 10:36:49
Someone has been silly;
Warburton if he handed in e before having the NF job offer

RFC if they have no formal notice that he was leaving

Hope its not us.

BTW its not the first time Weir has dishonoured us, he managed the Naismith situation from behind the curtains when the crap first started

3.) 11 Feb 2017 10:47:49
Lance, keep up. They wanted to resign as they thought they had the forest job, they told the board this. The board agreed this. The forest job fell through, so the board had a meeting yesterday to discuss this, they decided to accept the resignations as it was clear that mw and co were not committed to the club.

4.) 11 Feb 2017 12:16:40
Coldo u say keep up but your information is coming from the sun or dr, like lance said don't jump the gun.

5.) 11 Feb 2017 11:13:55
Those would seem to be the facts to date. Can't do that kind of thing in any employ never mind as a high profile football management team. Don't always say this but a big well done to the board for sticking to their guns. We need people who want to be at our great club and not use us as a fall back when plans go awry.

I don't think it will happen but I'd love to see Walter return until the end of the season and secure second spot. Alex McLeish would be my next port of call if Walter decides against it. The big man is well respected in football and has seen it and done it. The 2 helicopter Sundays in 2003 and especially 2005 will live with me forever.

6.) 11 Feb 2017 14:19:46
Good point, Jack Union, people forget that Weir orchestrated the Naismith move to Everton. That was about the only thing he did there, he was a rotten coach and failed miserably when he attempted management.

He gave Warburton less than no support at Rangers, he failed to instil any passion in the players and gave no help to Wallace to help develop his leadership qualities as captain.

08 Feb 2017 11:35:05
What's the chances of rangers v celtic 2 weeks in a row. League game is 12 March. 6th round Scottish cup 4th 5th March. Would everyone want that or would you want to avoid the cup match?

lance Armstrong

1.) 08 Feb 2017 12:24:21
Morton and calendar might fek that up tbh!

2.) 08 Feb 2017 12:59:09
No chance bill. Both shall win by 2 or more goals.

3.) 08 Feb 2017 15:21:54
I would rather we played Inverness but then we still have to get past Morton!

4.) 08 Feb 2017 17:53:07
Jelavic having a laugh surely. Would take him in a heartbeat but budget is more than stretched.

that's a shame for Sheldon cooper! he once said he knows more about football than anyone else on here! only had 33 predictions wrong! so give the guy a break! its a big bang theory he comes up with. don't give up Sheldon your good reading.

15 appearance's including fa cup and league cup in the last 2 years so how can people come on and say he shall be a great signing. personally I had never heard of the boy. would he be any better than young Souter at hearts or McKenna at Aberdeen or is it simply he is not Scottish so he must be better.

Just an opinion, I honestly think that gap been the 2 biggest mistakes rangers have made. Not getting Cummins and not getting mcinnes from Aberdeen. Build your way back with people who know what the Scottish game is all about. Signed too many guys who don't know what it's about.

SuperCooper, very harsh on the guy who wants time to think about it. After today's story then can you blame him for not being sure as no one else is sure.
You backed warburton for a full 18 month when everyone could see at end of last season he had his flaws,
you now want to back murty after 2 home wins against st Johnston and Hamiltom. I would hold my judgement till after next weekend because if rangers get a hiding then the knives shall be out for the guy. Very nice lad and speaks well but rangers managerial material I'm not so sure.

interesting you say that herewego, I find in the last 15 to 20 years that too many boys clubs are run by fathers of boys playing in that team and there is to much self interest in there own kid. some of these guys have never played football yet go on a course and get a badge. if people think that football is expensive for kids then try martial arts as its just money after money.

kriss I would not get to cocky about spending money. Walter smith spent lots 2007/ 2008 and look how that turned out. remember all the for every fiver we shall spend a tenner. someone is backing the club but that could stop tomorrow.

really? they had much more to play for. they have just won 3x3 and going for 9. I think rangers have more to play for. exact same team apart from Kent that won 2.0 in last game and everyone on here saying the team was better with Defoe.
