Tbh I wouldn't change a thing the squad is strong and we shouldn't need to add as they have a good strong bond and play as a squad not just an 11. By the way how good is Davis @ 35 wow he has to be involved manaagement wise once the gaffer inevitably moves on.

Only slight concern I have is who partners Goldson. Balogun can look a bit casual at times and Helander lacks pace. I like Katic so will be interesting to see what happens when he is back. Can’t help thinking Gerrard will keep rotating them and Helander maybe most likely to play old firm games based on last old firm.

Dec and Jan massive months with a lot of away games and then at home a lot. Next old firm is absolutely massive. Win that at it’s a dagger to the heart!

2.) 06 Dec 2020 20:50:49
Edmundson screwed up big time, he could have been playing as part of rotation these last 5 or 6 games.

3.) 06 Dec 2020 21:19:14
Helander has found an extra yard of pace this season. He was slow last season but seems a bit sharper with a full preseason. His reading of game is excellent.
Balogun has had a few shaky moments but ave been impressed with him.

4.) 06 Dec 2020 22:16:29
players are always a yard quicker when they are not playing

fans think they are much better when they are out the team - it’s astonishing

helander is good defender but was a riot vs benfica - the clamour to get him back in is absl beyond me.

5.) 07 Dec 2020 07:08:12
I think Goldson and Helander are our strongest pairing and Helander Benfica game apart hasn’t put a foot wrong. Hopefully he will be back soon as I rate Big filip. Beyond me how any rangers fan can criticise either Helander or Balogun given our defensive record this year.

Your right Mcmillst,
Wee Davis could open tins a beans with that right foot. 🤣

Amazing how Kennedy blames sending off for result, we were going to hump them no matter what, let's hope he gets the job permanently as all those halfwits buy into his mince patter, you were beat JK just accept it you tit!

mcmillst

1.) 02 May 2021 21:40:23
I thought it was an even game to be honest until he got sent off. We would have beat them regardless though. They don't believe that they can beat us. 👍.

2.) 02 May 2021 22:47:32
Always cheated never defeated 🤔.

Good to see roofe doing the business today I've always liked him as a player. Yes he is injury prone but if he can stay injury free he can be a big player for us in the future, always mobile always dangerous.

mcmillst

1.) 02 May 2021 21:24:16
I thought at first roofe's first goal was a fluke deflection but when you see the replay he actually deliberately flicks the ball with his chest. Class finish👍.

2.) 02 May 2021 22:16:43
Yep coldo he meant it.

02 May 2021 20:46:20
Love the way we can dominate possession and step up when we need to. At one point today it could've went 2-2 when Turnbull spurned his chance then roofe went and sealed the deal. We are miles ahead of them and will be for years let's pray Gerrard stays for a few years and keeps the team winning on all fronts.

If some teams come in for kent this summer and he is tempted away should jones be given a chance back at ibrox. My personal opinion is yes I think he should be given a 2nd chance, who in life hasn't made mistakes. Seems to be doing well down south for now.

mcmillst

1.) 02 Apr 2021 22:01:22
No. He was on his 3rd chance already.

Not good enough.

2.) 02 Apr 2021 22:14:23
Always refreshing to see fans backing our players.

3.) 02 Apr 2021 22:15:48
No mate have his attitude is stinking.

4.) 02 Apr 2021 22:25:59
Jones, 2/ 3 years ago yes okay, but we are now are potential champions league team and Jones would not be good enough as a squad player let alone a 1st team start.

5.) 02 Apr 2021 22:38:55
Would be brilliant in this team.

6.) 02 Apr 2021 23:06:09
I just think midtjylland and Motherwell goals apart from that its sent off in dying mins of old firm and C.V. party's no from me I would rather see kai Kennedy being part of first team and gave a chance.

7.) 03 Apr 2021 00:02:34
BWD your football opinions are mental. Jones=good. Fredo=bad.

In the nicest possible terms mate, clueless.

8.) 03 Apr 2021 07:33:03
Snell he is at the wind up.

9.) 03 Apr 2021 08:34:51
Definite wind up merchant, John.

With respect mcmillst, you asked a question, and posters gave their answers. It's not about not supporting the players, it's honest answers that the guy is just not good enough. Again, If Jones was to replace Kent we would then have a weakened squad. Why would any supporter want that? You do want to win the league again, don't you?

10.) 03 Apr 2021 08:44:15
Has to be at the wind up 🤔I agree with East Belfast, get shot of jordan jones as soon as, very poor attitude and for me also scott wright way in front of him in the position 👍🇬🇧.

11.) 03 Apr 2021 09:32:07
Jones isn't good enough.

12.) 03 Apr 2021 10:15:45
In my eyes no. sell Jones and Barker and take in a million for them and use some of the fee we recieve to try better the position.

13.) 03 Apr 2021 11:27:47
I feel there are good things to come from the lad Wright. I've been really impressed by his cameos so far. We could have landed a right gem and, listening to his interviews, he seems a level headed and sensible boy. 👍.

Been reviewing the Europa league ko draw and I think we have been given a kind draw compared to some of the teams, by the looks of it there are some tasty ties which will ko a lot of good teams so my question is bears how far could we go? I know league is priority before i get shot down by certain posters my question is about Europe and how far could we go. Me personally i feel Antwerp are beatable and looking forward I think we could give most teams a good game but hope we avoid Italian and English teams. Thoughts?

mcmillst

1.) 26 Jan 2021 16:06:54
I'd focus on Antwerp game first to be honest.

2.) 26 Jan 2021 16:12:16
If not focused and prepared Antwerp will beat us just as St Mirren did in the league cup.

3.) 26 Jan 2021 16:18:19
Really depends on the draw as to how far we can go. I don't see any reason why a semi final isn't achievable with the league all but wrapped up if we win on wednesday (if not all ready) .

In an ideal world we can beat antwerp and get a favourable last 16 draw. If you win that i'd take a more glamourous tie vs english opposition tbh. This would be great shop window oppertunities for our players (not saying i want them to go, however could increase their value alot) .
I wouldn't write us off against anyone tbh, in particular the english sides and from there we could be in a semi final.

Who knows though, let's enjoy the excitement of it.

4.) 26 Jan 2021 16:49:28
If we beat Antwerp it just the luck of the draw basically.

5.) 26 Jan 2021 18:56:51
Antwerp arena good side. Sure they beat spurs in groups.

Jyf 100% correct beaton is a crap ref and he is following in gollum's footsteps with his school teacher attitude towards players and managers. On Alfie's yellow it should be recinded as he was actually fouled where is the consistency after ajeti getting away with his dive with no action taken. On the flip side it's actually embarrassing watching some players flop to the ground in the box, especially the Antwerp guy when davis tapped his ankle.

So funny watching them all fall into the trap about rafa absolutely hilarious give him a war chest blah blah blah, one guy over there saying sell about 13 players all but 3 are absolute mince. Just who do they think wants to buy them you couldn't give most of their squad away😂.

Jones for me should get another chance, ok he has made a couple of blunders but to me he has pace he is direct and he will cause most teams in Scotland problems. Edmundson also deserves another chance. Barker, stewart, Middleton, mcpake should be moved on as they will only ever be bit part players.

In any other season it would be a no brainer Davidson would win it. However SG in my eyes has to take it this time simply because of the significance of the league win in this particular season. To win a cup you may have to win 5-6 games and if you get the luck of the draw it helps. In league cup only team they played above them in the league was hibs. I'm in no way making light of their tremendous achievement in winning both cups though and wish them all the best, davidson has proved he can do it when it matters no matter who you play. Well done.

Calm doon and trust your team, it's easy to criticise from your sofa. Gerrard will do the half time team talk and gers will come out and do the business as always.
