Reporter on news tonight talking about some rule written in Rangers own rule book saying the board can invoke some. rule or other that they can postpone the meeting indefinitely didn't pick it up had people in anyone watch it stv news tonight?
r. f

1.) 10 Feb 2015 21:21:56
I saw something last week about if too many rangers fans show up it can be postponed for safety, was on one of the papers

2.) 10 Feb 2015 23:17:23
Rf I've just asked stv about there comment on your subject, says nowt, said nothing on it, maybe you picked it up wrong right enough eh.

3.) 11 Feb 2015 07:03:43
the egm has been called and will go ahead, so long as no bother, we need someone to post a guide to proxying votes

4.) 11 Feb 2015 08:53:14
Maybe George 123 good to know u can get to talk to stv about this keep us up to date with any .
r. f

5.) 11 Feb 2015 12:13:34
Some people are so desperate for these to remain on the board, George, to the extent they're imagining things on the news.

6.) 11 Feb 2015 16:03:50
Gkk. Aye mate, maybe he was up early, continuation of a dream, or it's smoking that funny stuff early that's having a different affect to smoking it late lol.

7.) 11 Feb 2015 18:45:54
Does anyone know if Streete is out for Friday night's game?

{Ed039's Note - Nothing confirmed)

06 Feb 2015 15:49:16
Lalet modi former head of Indian cricket board has held talks with easdale about the 26% holding he has control over its believed a price was discussed and a further meeting has been arranged. source bbc, could this be a game changer.
r. f

1.) 06 Feb 2015 16:22:17
great another crook, he is banned for life in india and can never return to any sporting activity.

2.) 06 Feb 2015 18:00:17
This is laughable. If this board beleive that dave king won't pass the fit and proper person test what the heck makes them wallopers on the board think a guy who's banned for life from any sporting institutions pass they are seriously shirting themselves as the gravy train only has one last stop. Know what it's just more ammo for king as shareholders reading that will be even more willing to back king n co. I predict a riot. Ooops I meant I predict a landslide for March 4 I for one and a few thousand others I'm betting will be at the home game QOS 7th March : )

3.) 06 Feb 2015 18:32:23
I wouldn't worry about the Easdales shares they are now for the off and King n CO have our 51%+. This last desperate attempt from these crooks to muck rake against King is a poor effort telling us what the papers have been reporting for years about SA tax case etc etc. Just to note about the recent nonsense story in paper about easdales homes threatened etc they have recently tried to run another bus company off the road in greenock but let's just say they had a knock at their door this time from individuals not to be imtimidated. that's maybe real reason for protection. Not in over 30 years of travelling to games from greenock/inverclyde area has anyone seen these 2 fat ***** attending games? never real gers fans. Good riddence to them and Somers.

4.) 06 Feb 2015 18:49:24
Will not make one jot to shareholder differential - King still has the upperhand.

This makes me think that The Easedales are abandoning ship.

5.) 06 Feb 2015 19:07:35
Greenock Loyal

TOTALLY correct they are Morton if they are anything

I know a few people in Glasgow and they are cardboard just bullies it is why they talk through the press about intimidation can you imagine PF going to the papers if he had a door visit pmsl

i am george

6.) 06 Feb 2015 19:14:35
Easdale shares n his hidden proxy slimeballs are voting against King anyway so how can selling them to this tool no doubt with the proviso that he also votes against King be a game changer? Also sensationalism at its best Fat Sandy can only sell his own 6% the other 20% ain't his to sell, I'd love to know who does own them though n who this sleazy sh#t has been hiding.

7.) 07 Feb 2015 03:29:55
I think this lot are talking a lot of rubbish, I don't believe for one minuet they have anybody looking to buy there shares.

8.) 07 Feb 2015 09:46:09
Born blue, I think buying shares and being o the board of directors is 2 different things m8, anyone can buy share s
, I agree though with most post

9.) 07 Feb 2015 16:32:42
In what sense is it a game changer?

10.) 07 Feb 2015 16:38:32
Tommy 51 I apologise your totally right about the shares part ( what a wallybrain ) it dosent make a bit of difference who ows the 26% anyway the status quo ( rocking all over the world ) will remain the same. Wouldn't it be brill if the day we finally get back to premiership they played AC/DC back in black first home game! And hearts are drawing as I post they WILL be caught I've bet my subaru on it : (

11.) 07 Feb 2015 21:39:42
The trouble with catching hearts born blue is they don't look like dropping to many points where as we look like dropping every wk so I'd mibby try changing that bet! personally I think another year in the championship wouldn't be a bad thing, come end of the season we're going to need a full new first team/ management set up. it's a tuffy because the division we're in will dictate the quality of player we attract, everything is going to hinge on who's runnin the show.

12.) 07 Feb 2015 22:17:35

Better get that bus pass out then mate, as you will lose that car for sure. But we all love a dreamer, don't give up the day job, just leave earlier to catch the bus now!

13.) 07 Feb 2015 23:22:19
Why does every one assume the guy trying to buy the 26% easdale controls is with the board, who's to say he's not linked to king? As I'm sure they would not sell direct to king.
r. f

14.) 09 Feb 2015 01:01:37
Well says r. f am sure sarver got pelters at first

08 Jan 2015 15:45:55

Sanday easdale gives half mil loan to club secured against the fee for young Lewis, wasn't the headlines I thought I would get up to. Source bbc news
r. f

1.) 05 Jan 2015 09:35:10
Not a rumour was announced to the stock exchange this morning.
r. f

2.) Its true rats are good swimmers. but the rats on this board going to fall short of reaching dry land.

3.) Further update: To stop us getting Wound Up by HMRC!!

Coming to a head soon methinks.

4.) Hmrc. give rangers 7 day winding up order, but the sandy easdale steps up to plate to save the day, words of jack irvine. laughable, its these people that got us here.

5.) A bigger worry is the reason given by the BBC - unpaid bill for HMRC. Wasn't that what started this fiasco in the first place?

6.) Rfc board having in negotations with park group and king. stock exchange say. announcment soon. sourse. telegraph

7.) So he gave the club nothing.

8.) 05 Jan 2015 19:16:41
There you go that at least can stop so called fans having a go at him he put the money in when need were is the Mighty 3 Bears when needed.??

9.) Sick to death of all this paltry loans, when will all this crap end

04 Jan 2015 15:12:47
Here's one doing the rounds after todays story about boyd.
Boyd going & Novo coming in. Thoughts? Mine are he couldn't do any worse.

r. f

1.) Liked wee novo as a player, always gave his all and scored some special goals. but that was then and this is now. novo abt 35 now. I think it will depend on the board situation getting sorted. if things move fast we could mabye salvage brining in couple of players.

{Ed039's Note - Isnt Novo playing in America?)

2.) 04 Jan 2015 16:33:52
As I said one doing the rounds, probs a combination of him been seen at Ibrox yesterday and todays story about boyd.
r. f

3.) 04 Jan 2015 16:35:03
That makes sense Get rid of 1 dud and bring in a guy that didn't get a deal of Greenock Morton last season??.

4.) I thought he was at carlisle. could be wrong

{Ed039's Note - At Carolina Railhawks or something like that, not in the MLS its their regional leagues he is/was playing)

5.) An American bids £18 mill for a majority stake in rangers

18 Mar 2015 15:08:34
They say one man doesn't make a team but is it a coincidence that the last time we won was start of January just before young Lewis Macleod left.

1.) 18 Mar 2015 15:35:18
You still going on about him. He really wasn't that good.

{Ed039's Note - You really are so full of crap at times)

2.) 18 Mar 2015 15:38:35
also last time we one was when ian black was last in the team so take mccloed and ian black out and we fall to pieces pathectic

3.) 18 Mar 2015 15:45:29
That's my opinion though. He was playing at lower level so how can you justify that. I just think it's daft that you all pinned your hopes on a kid.

{Ed039's Note - And he was head and shoulders above everybody he played against and with, stepped into Scotland U21s and was the best player there as well. Remember these are the leagues where Celtic (and Rangers used to) send their young players on loan to get game experience before moving them on. Players like Charlie Adam learned their trade in these divisions before moving the Prem League and playing international football. Never going to be world beaters but at a young age players have developed in these leagues)

4.) 18 Mar 2015 15:55:06
My point being with Lewis being young you would think more experienced player would be able to cope better . who was the crap comment aimed at?

{Ed039's Note - The post it was pinned to)

5.) 18 Mar 2015 16:43:26
That would be little old me it was aimed at. I'm not saying he is a bad player. Haven't even seen him. But for you all to pin your hopes and dreams on one boy and say he was world millions was just nonsense.

{Ed039's Note - Whats nonsense is making a judgement on a player you claim never to have seen. Would the folk who have been watching him for 2 and a half years not be in more of s position to make that judgement than you? I have heard good and bad stories about James Forrest and Craig Gordon, but do you know what, I wouldnt pass judgement because I havent seen them)

6.) 18 Mar 2015 16:58:45
You are so right ed, though I suspect its more than crap!

7.) 18 Mar 2015 17:08:26
In pretty sure we won a few weeks back when Murdoch scored a cracker

Macleod - played well against spl teams for rangers this season and even got a call up to the full scotland squad

8.) Rr: Yes to a large extent MacLeod made the team and was a huge influence for such a young lad. Pity Wallace didn't leave instead of him, think he would have flourished with McCall here.

9.) 18 Mar 2015 17:09:12
Because I remember mcgregor was playing well at same time as that boy. Yous valued McLeod at 3 million. Mcgregor was playing at higher level and I certainly wouldn't value him at that. Crazy what you all thought bout him. You all put a big weight on that young boys shoulders. That's what I remember.

{Ed039's Note - I wouldnt listen to your value of the boy McGregor anyway, not after valuing a player you have never seen. There was alot of weight on that boys shoulders, and here is why Marty ........ he is a very good young player. I hope that explains it to you)

10.) 18 Mar 2015 17:19:51
How's he getting on anyway.

{Ed039's Note - He is injured. Let me guess that knocks more off the value of the player you have never seen)

11.) 18 Mar 2015 18:18:44
Robert Fleck anyone?? Pmsl was the new superstar. Where's he now Antone??

12.) 18 Mar 2015 18:23:36
No not at all just hadn't heard much about the next big thing.

13.) 18 Mar 2015 18:58:13
Fair play to you ed, you have plenty patience with people deliberately trying to antagonize.

14.) 19 Mar 2015 09:47:05
Robert fleck played football 30 years ago I don't know why you bring him up? Do you mean John fleck who plays for Coventry? If your going to criticize a professional footballer at least make sure it's the right one.

04 Mar 2015 16:23:16
News from stock market trading in Rangers shares temporary suspended .

{Ed039's Note - Standard procedure when NOMAD resigns, they will stay suspended until King announces new NOMAD, however expect challenges on King and the new NOMAD not complying with AIM standards)

1.) 04 Mar 2015 16:39:55
Cheers ed

2.) 04 Mar 2015 16:46:29

Any knowledge on how we approach quiting AIM to return to normal Market?

No my area of knowledge so wondered if King can opt to revert the AIM is not really where we want to be in the long term from what I have read

ANY NOMAD King approaches will be superior to WH Ireland they are the Duff and Phelps of their field!

i am george

{Ed039's Note - No idea George)

3.) 04 Mar 2015 16:48:36
Just seen this as well, nothing to worry about king has his own nomad lined up

24 Feb 2015 09:31:57
The board and king if/when he gets in should come out & tell these fans in no uncertain terms that this type of singing/chanting must stop, now here's the but will they also have the balls to ask the question why its always our fans who make the headlines when its plain to hear and see other club fans do the same thing every week!

23 Feb 2015 11:57:34
RE my comments below : I agree 100% these songs should not be sung at football matches, but only in the u.k is it deemed political and ok to sing songs glorifying people who fought against the British and the British establishment yet its offensive & sectarian to sing songs that condem the same people .

{Ed001's Note - don't talk crap, you are ignorant as hell if you stupidly think that is true. Have you ever been to Spain and listened to the songs the Basques sing? Or the Catalans? In fact you could find the same in just about every country in the world. Typical pig ignorant excuse trying to excuse the foulness of the songs you have sung in the past.}

1.) 23 Feb 2015 12:26:45
the day I stop singing the songs is the day celtic no longer get away with mocking the fallen/Britain/rangers etc.

the songs shouldn't be acceptable in society, but there is an unfair bias situation going on. it needs fixed on both sides.

{Ed001's Note - point proven, too busy whining about others and building up bitterness instead of growing up and being adult about it and fixing your own problems. You are the main reason this kind of idiocy is still going on. You are the problem. You are the issue.}

2.) R.f
Ibrox is a football stadium, Rangers are a football team, there is no place in football or society for these songs they have nothing to do with Glasgow Rangers, We have enough great songs that can be sung at matches glorifying Rangers, not bigotry or sectarianism, them days should be left in the past, Rangers fc have been under the spotlight more than any other club in European football these last few years, and we will be all over the media in the next coming weeks, we really really don't need anymore negative publicity, It makes me proud to be Ranger when People in Holland are amazed for what we did for one of their own(fernando) or Chinese newspapers reporting on record crowds( div3), we can be respected around the world for stories like that, and then some numpties just ruin it by singing songs about battles in the past that they probably don't even understand, There's a clip on you tube Amazing penny arcade, sung against Celtic a few years ago every time I watch it I get Goosebumps, that's the atmosphere I and many thousands of others want at Ibrox.

3.) 23 Feb 2015 12:39:41
Not interested in Spain but u tend to prove my point we get condemned and others get away with it for being "political"

{Ed001's Note - how am I proving your point? Are you being deliberately obtuse? It completely disproves it by showing how ignorant you are! Or do you think if the Madridistas sang about slaughtering the Basques and Catalans it would be acceptable??}

4.) On fire today Ed and 100% correct!

5.) 23 Feb 2015 12:57:44
at 1. Who cares what celtic fans sing, what reason does that give brain dead people and am going to have to say this, brain dead people like you, to sing sick pointless songs aimed at something that has zero connection with rangers fc.

We all talk big talk on sites, but we have all stood next to someone at the games who has shouted something disgusting about a race or religion, but do we tell the stewards? do we tell the police? Its time for us to stand up for our club when we see this. We have our part to play in the rebuilding of this great club and I think this is one of them. let's not scare ourselves by our own hand. Point them out and get them banned, if DK gets in charge then fans groups should pressure him into action against the idiots.

6.) Stop all conflict ban all fans from the stadiums lol! There's no atmosphere at ibrox anyway.

7.) Ed totally agree with what you are saying -

There is no place in society for chanting sectarian / bigotted / racist / or anti - religious slogans.

Would you do it at work?
Would you do it in a bank?
Would you do it in a shop?

Singing songs of hatred in the guise of football chants harms your club - it should stop now.
Those who point the finger at Celtic and others for doing the same are totally wrong. It should not matter who else is doing it, but it should not be done by you or yours. At Rangers everyone gets involved when the songs are sung, everyone - this should stop - NOW!
Once we have stopped our silly singing then we can point the finger of blame onto others because we have stopped doing it.
What I think Rangers as a club should be doing is to change the words of the songs so that they can still be song but without the hatefilled words.

{Ed001's Note - well said.}

8.) 23 Feb 2015 15:07:17
It certainly wouldn't be ok but again it proves all over europe certain elements sing these sort of songs and Rangers appear to be the only club that's highlighted in the media and punished for it. You are trying to portray me as sectarian I'm far from it it just annoys me one rule for us and one rule for others.

9.) 23 Feb 2015 15:11:34
Rf an onlyshowaround yous are the fans we don't need at our club it doesn't matter about celtic forget celtic it's us an being Rangers fans though I wouldn't call you Rangers fans I would call you uneducated morons if you think it's ok to sing those songs
What age are you? They sings songs so am singing my songs grow the hell up

10.) How can we claim to be a better club, when we are still playing in the mud.

The east sing songs so what. Let them show there true selves.

And ed this we are victim cards that these so called fans keep chiming on about makes me sick.

{Ed039's Note - I agree, I dont see the point in it whatsoever, we will continue to be "victims" of critisism from others until such a time as the element of fans that plague the Rangers support either grow up or ship out ........ and before anybody says anything i use the word "victims" in the loosest possible terms)

11.) 23 Feb 2015 17:00:27
Once again I totally abhor these sort of songs being sung in stadiums, but everyone is missing the point sure its alright to say let them sing what they want as long as we don't spew this sort of bile yet they still don't get pulled up all I'm asking is for a fair sense of justice you can hear there songs every week. on t.v live or highlights and it seems to be us that when an element of our support do it its highlighted why?, when does it become sectarian and not political? I remember on forums like this a few year back we used to ask someone from Ibrox to stand up for our fans over these sectarian rows and now we just say ah let them do it as long as we don't .

12.) 23 Feb 2015 18:09:55
What it sounds like is they do it, why can't we.

Let me explain something rf this whole thing about people on their side, no one on ours side s###e urks me. The thing is
When we mature we see there is no such thing as sides just EXCUSES.

Why can't we set the example.

The bottom line is we are in a bad situation, and these t##t fans are making it worse. How can we ask for change and are not willing to do the same.

13.) Rf singing these songs IS sectarian.while I agree these songs were the norm it is now time to stop.have you ever wondered why we are never welcome in Spain and Italy.these country's are Catholic countrys and we were portrayed as a catholic hating club.do you not feel embarrassed when we have had umpteen Roman cathoilics proud to pull on the blue jersey and here their own fans sing those songs.while I agree that dignity fc seem to get away with it in this country that should not deter us from ridding ourselves of our horrible baggage.i am dreading Friday as I fear the brigade will be out in force and I urge the police to take a firmer stance.

14.) 23 Feb 2015 20:31:38
Rf you missing the point just because they do doesn't mean we shd its not tit for tat ok we are all grown men here I think
So we shdnt sing these songs period no matter what why can't u get that in your heid 2 wrongs don't make a right

15.) Spot on bigcol not in our name so please get to eff out of Ibrox. Our re-start offered to such hope and optimism for bright new exciting future and all we got was the same old same old.
No faith in youth, try and buy success. useless governance. our worst ever manager and players and the worst of our support becoming louder and even more vile. Still where there is life there is hope. let's hope the EGM brings change all round.

And if everyone has your opinion and doesn't turn up how are the new regime going to fund the changes .they need as much help possible or it will be a case of still scraping the bottom of the barrel for free transfers .King himself asked the question, are u willing to help by turning up, outside Ibrox on friday and the response was deafening ., We all know the team have'nt got it but funds will be needed and the more we the fans pay by turning up the more for the rebuild .

I would give the new management team a certain amount needed to rebuild the squad, sign players of a certain age then once the squad has settled and we are back to challenging for europe place put in place a transfer budget were if we qualify for CL u get say 10m Europa 5m no europe then it would have to be a case of what's available, I would also restructure the wage system so that the biggest percentage was performance related.
