no matter who we have as manager in the summer, we must sign nobody until we find and tie down at least two decent central defenders. there's no point in looking at midfielders, nor strikers until that happens. also GET McGregor signed up pronto, let's make sure we have a real decent keeper with two solid defenders, only then should we look at others.

Don’t want him back we need to start looking forward not back. There are better and younger keepers out there than him.

2.) 23 Mar 2018 00:04:28
i agree about better keepers than McGregor, but they would probably cost big money. if we had him for a couple of seasons it may give us time to find a hidden gem. the only one springs to mind at present is Hearts keeper McLaughlin, but would they deal with us?

3.) 23 Mar 2018 00:09:40
We need tall and strong players for games against physical bottom half teams. The fannies like Windass, Fods, Martin, Goss can't cope.

I would be starting Alnwick and looking for a higher quality replacement in the Summer.

When we got PUMPED by Hamilton at Ibrox I lost faith in Murty. I took my wife for her first game, she thinks we are shit. Spent easy hundred quid.

There are fans scraping by, paying top dollar to go to Ibrox and the players give up! That is not the ethos of The Glasgow Rangers Football Club.

4.) 23 Mar 2018 00:27:11
Signing McGregor would do no harm at all, mah only be short term but atleast he knows what playing fir Rangers is all about which is what the curreng squad lacks.

5.) 23 Mar 2018 01:48:30
Watched some of McGregor this season and the guy still has it. Fod has came on but his command of the 18 yard box still makes me fearful

6.) 23 Mar 2018 01:51:08
Said many times on this page. Zander Clark at St Johnstone is who we should be looking at for our goalkeeper

7.) 23 Mar 2018 05:13:22
McLaughlin is out of contract at end of season

8.) 23 Mar 2018 12:50:29
Sheep goalkeeper Lewis is best keeper in lge don't think they would sell to us though.

9.) 25 Mar 2018 16:48:17
Ritchie, i hold mcgregor in the same regards as all the other deserters that got out off the sinking ship quicker than the rats, scumbags the lot of them, imo, none of them should be welcomed back, imo, like the party crashers, they bolted as soon as the booze was finished.

10.) 25 Mar 2018 20:43:35
How blind are you those guys were in the best years of their careers and u expect them to play for pennies and in the lower leagues of Scotland when they could go to England and could double their wage. aye mate no bother am a die hard rangers fan but if I worked my entire life to play at the top then that's what I would do as well anything else would be stupid.

11.) 26 Mar 2018 02:23:29
Can't believe folk don't rate Wes. Guys a fantastic shot stopper. Doesn't command his area that well but name me a modern keeper who does.

12.) 26 Mar 2018 21:31:28
Stirlin , yip i sagree these guys are out to makenthere money, cause they retire earlier than the common worker, it was they way they flew out the door, why did they not sit until the club could have got money for them, ie steve davis.

get Herrera and Pena on to the transfer market immediately, see if we can get them a ticket back to Mexico. As for Pedro, sack him for incompetence and tell him we will see him in court about severence pay. As for Windass and Dalcio, tell them they are no longer needed and to look for another club.
Tell Rossiter to find another sport that doesn't harm him so much, and finally, let's get Tommy Wright or Michael O'Neill in pronto.

ritchie2

1.) 23 Oct 2017 10:13:39
You do know dalcio is a loan?

2.) 23 Oct 2017 20:37:43
Great idea, why didn't anyone think of this before. Your insight into running a football club is damn genius. Tell me are you really jose morinho?

3.) 23 Oct 2017 20:44:13
Out of all the available managers out there right now, you go with two that are in a job and are lesser managers than those available for free. Caixinha's time is very nearly up, but at least give us a few names to be excited by.

Louis Moult is a MUST come January.

ritchie2

1.) 22 Sep 2017 07:11:35
i've been sayin that about moult for months till i'm blue in the face

his goals scoring record is second to none
m'well are skint so won't be hard to deal with
he's in last year of his contract
we need another striker and he's long term replace for miller
he's only 25 so if a success at gers poss re-sale value
he would take goal scoring pressure off morelos
he knows SPL so and what it's like to go to pittodrie porkheid

it's that simple

2.) 22 Sep 2017 07:50:48
think there's going to be plenty of teams in for moult in january hopefully people from the club are in his agents ear the now

3.) 22 Sep 2017 11:26:18
Minimum £1m now, we should have done our business in summer.

4.) 22 Sep 2017 12:18:43
Moults contract ends next summer Motherwell manager last night conceded that they don't bring in crowds of 50000 so can't compete to renew his contract so is their a hiding message in that statement

17 Sep 2017 23:43:36
have to say in all honesty, although we are not firing on all cylinders, NO-ONE else is giving Celtic a hard time. Before our demise, it was a level playing field on targets, but with them having no competition from ANYWHERE our job is twice as difficult, and with a new squad and backroom staff, we are making a bit of headway, but we need other clubs to take points off them too.

ritchie2

1.) 18 Sep 2017 09:57:25
not gonny happen ritchie they are simply years ahead of us and at least another season after this one we won't be close but that's down to finances and having a settled squad that have gelled very well

2.) 18 Sep 2017 19:21:00
Thats down to bad management pedz we had money to spend but PC wasted most of it on MEN he know, it doesn't say much for what he knows.

3.) 19 Sep 2017 10:27:26
fod give them time to get better and show whay he wanted them

what was MURTY up to with O'Halloran, into injury time? was he giving him one more kick in the balls to ruin his confidence completely?

Man management? Murty you HAVEN'T a clue, clear your desk and go now, let a new manager pick the replacements in the close season, i wouldn't give you a penny to spend.
it's no wonder you are losing the dressing room.

ritchie2

1.) 23 Apr 2018 07:52:17
He replaced a right winger, with a right winger to give Candieas a standing ovation for his performance. Nothing more, nothing less.

2.) 23 Apr 2018 08:09:38
Running the clock down that's why he subed. called managing the game.

3.) 23 Apr 2018 12:36:33
Only one person that doesn't have a clue on that post Ritchie2. And in case you don't have a clue on who I am referring to. yeah its you.
Bigbear and DVT are both right. Candieas gets the ovation he deserves (great man management and confidence boosting for him and manages the game also when its tight at 2-1.
Wake up and stop being so blind because of your clear dislike to our manager.

4.) 23 Apr 2018 15:15:49
Sticking up for an imposter like MOH just to have a dig at the manager? I’ve heard it all now.

20 Apr 2018 17:07:15
so what is it that puts you off Hummel then? can some of you experts out there please tell me.

ritchie2

1.) 20 Apr 2018 17:14:32
I couldn't care less, it's the RFC badge that makes me but the top, but some people can't live without a big sports brand on them

2.) 20 Apr 2018 17:37:25
Nowt wrong with Hummel main thing is its a better deal than we have had in recent years! And no one is creaming us

3.) 20 Apr 2018 18:11:20
I’m looking forward to seeing the Hummel old school style, I reckon the strips will be big sellers. It will have the RFC badge and we are making decent cash 👍🏼

4.) 21 Apr 2018 00:34:45
Simply put, it's not a Hummel top, it's a Rangers top and if any 'fans' are too up themselves not to wear it because of who sews it together then they can do one.

16 Apr 2018 17:48:34
the board are in chaos, we can't attract a REAL decent manager because what's available are all scared to admit they would lose their reputation by cominG here, the best of players we can afford are all scared to risk coming herewith the current turmoil, and if you look on any Rangers web pages, now the fans are starting to talk gibberish about who to sign, who to approach. God almighty, we ARE in a feckin mess, that's for sure.

what exactly IS going on with Scottish football?

It's nothing short of embarrassing, our national stadium barely 1/ 3 full FOR A CUP SEMI FINAL? and for all to see with the highlights. I said it before and repeat, SCOTTISH FOOTBALL IS IN INTENSIVE CARE and is slowly dying in front of us. don't know the answer, but it's sad AND pathetic.

ritchie2

1.) 15 Apr 2018 00:28:11
Tyncastle was the obvious place for that game, it would have been close to capacity with a better atmosphere.

2.) 15 Apr 2018 08:39:20
The refereeing was poor again. 1st minute the Aberdeen boy got an elbow in the back of the head should have been a red. The 1st goal the motherwell boy controlled the ball with his hand before crossing and then there was a foul on the defender before the 2nd goal. It seems scottish refs allow motherwell to play dirty.

04 Apr 2018 17:19:19
come on guys, let's win the cup and dedicate it to Ray and his family.

i'm sure the lad Declan will be more than capable in Windasses position, he is a left sided attacking wing / back who likes to get forward

Naismith did NOT say he is signing for us, he recently said he might come back some day, but he is happy at Norwich meantime. This was reported in various media sites quite a few weeks ago.
Lets move on and try to talk a bit of sense for a change.
Likewise we don't need McLean.
Walker - yes
Moult - maybe

nonsensical idea. The names are there for a reason. Ask any referee what he thinks too.

pontless comment goalie, most of the trash on here is make believe, but the player himself admitted it this week, unless of course he has a contract with the DR? the point is, he is NOT scoring which is what he is paid to do.
