What do you guys think of maybe trying to get Turnbull and brophy or Turnbull and Cosgrove as t rangers think any combination of those 3 would be good signings, just my opinion. What do you think?

Most definitely i think we should be doing our utmost to sign motherwell midfielder david turnbull! This young midfielder most definitely looks the part and imo, we must now put our hat in the ring to sign him, before its too late. There's already a good few clubs sniffing around him. Brophy is a decent, big robust striker who could do a job for us. I'd prefer brophy to cosgrove, to be honest. But david turnbull is a must. He's only going to get better and better.

2.) 21 May 2019 07:01:17
Why would we sign young players like Turnbull, Brophy and Cosgrove and not bring through two or three of our promising youngsters to the first team squad? After all, who thinks that any of the three mentioned (plus Hastie) would be a first-team regular? It seems that any player who has a decent game against us is targeted as a new signing! Stop it.

3.) 21 May 2019 09:03:32
Need better quality to mount a serious challenge for the title
We are rangers these guys are playing at that level for a reason similar to jonny hayes situation
I am excluding turnbull from this but feel he needs another season at well.

4.) 21 May 2019 09:43:07
Turnbull would be terrific signing and we would be fools if we where not interested in him this lad will go on to do very well where ever he ends up just like John Mcginn has done at aston villa.
Brohpy would be a good backup player from bench but then we have rudden hardie and mepbude that could do that job for us.

5.) 21 May 2019 09:50:23
I think Turnbull is a no brainer if scores 15 goals for us his value will jump to 6 mill at least. Pay Motherwell 1.5 mill and give them grezna 6 months and Dallas/ hardie a year on loan.

Cant wait till next season. The fans dammed we sign young and hungry players. If we managed to get this CH from Oldham, then we will have Katic, rossiter, docherty, Edmuson, hastie, Jones, Jack, McCrorie, Molerals if he stays and hopefully Turnbull and Kent all 24 or under. Mixed we some great experience of Davis, Defoe, Tav, Arfield, Goldson, MCGregor, Dorrans and Murphy.
There is also some of our youth starting to push Hardie, Dallas, mluba and McPake.
Future looking good.

6.) 21 May 2019 10:03:51
Doiger what do you mean "has a good game against us"? Turnbull has clearly had a good season. I'm all for promoting within the club, but if there is someone better and an opportunity there to get them then why not.

7.) 21 May 2019 10:36:44
Turnbull is completely untried at top level, which is what we need, though he has done well this season. I know our youngsters are also untried at top level but I'd rather see some of our kids given a chance, otherwise what is the point of our academy? We hear rave notices about some of the young players but there seems a reluctance to give them a run out!

8.) 21 May 2019 11:15:49
But DOIGER if gerrard rated turnbull better than any of our current young players for that position, then surely mate, its an absolute no brainer to go and try to sign turnbull. A lot that know the game predict that he can go all the way and is a special talent!

9.) 21 May 2019 11:24:19
What if turnbull is better than any prospect we have doiger🤔👍.

10.) 21 May 2019 13:48:09
Turnbull was head and shoulders above everyone else around his age group coming through. He’s now doing it in the first team at a club who aren’t top 6, he’s miles ahead of what we have at the minute for his age and his progression has been outstanding. We do have a few coming through in midfield but they are a couple of years away yet from breaking into first team. Turnbull should be a priority signing and loaning Motherwell Docherty could help in the deal.

11.) 21 May 2019 18:03:48
Rangers have been scouting Turnbull all season. He fancies a mouth down south and that’s from the mouth of Stephen Hammell who’s spent a few yrs coaching him.

12.) 21 May 2019 18:43:24
Utter tosh. Get Docherty back and keep him here, Rossiter too. Turnbull? Let's see if we hear about him a year from now.

13.) 22 May 2019 03:18:43
Scott 123 what absolute utter nonsense to say Turnbull was ahead of everyone his age in Scotland. If you bite I'll give you 5 examples of better prospects.

Guys what would be the thoughts on letting murty take charge till end of season then getting de boer in. Would certainly be easier than hiring someone else on the interim basis and think he would get best out of the younger players and even utilise the most talented youth players. Hopefully new guy will start using the burts thomsons and hardies of the squad.

Hell of a risk I'd say we've need to get in Europe, it's a possibility though as rangers boards nvr seem to be in a rush to get deals done asap

@tomthumb12 Rangers have already signed the kid from Bournemouth in the summer and he is a sitting midfielder. Think his name is offoborh or something like that. He will be the replacement for zungu.

If Alfie is sold imo I would go for the boy Nsame at young boys. He looks like a big strong powerfully striker, he's quick as well. What do you guys think. Oh and I'd make sure they get the boy Alegria in as welk.

Looks like rfcrb1872 has his scapgoat lined up. Kamara for a young kid has been exceptional since signing. His quick feet and quick thinking have been a joy to watch, when teams try quick press Kamara usually gets the ball and starts of the rangers attack because he is comfortable when opisition is tight on him. He has a bright future some people just live a moan instead of encouragement.

Rangers661 what a ludicrous statement to make. We've played 28 games and lost 4 and we have had a few 1 nils so where is tge struggle to see games out. Today was a lapse. Not a good performance and 3 mistakes led to their goal. 1 tav and bb too far up field. 2 Davis should just take the winger out as soon as he gets wrong side and 3 helander ducks when Anderson gets header on target when he should jump and clear the header even for a corner. The player who scored is unmarked because bb caught upfield as already covered in first mistake. So yes bad mistakes today but I wouldn't say we've struggled to see games out all season when we've only dropped points in 4 games and those were draws. Some of the negativity by rangers support is outrageous.

Would like to see him goto a team that has nothing to do for ages as that's 99% rangers games a lot of keepers are great shot stoppers and command their area when they're switched on all the time. It's when you've got feck all to do for 78 mins then a snapshot comes in or 1v1 or a dead ball situ. That's what made gorum, greegsy, klos fantastic keepers.

I actually believe Alfie will stay put as he knows was next season he will get a crack at champions league and get the chance of his big move playing in Europe's big competition.

It makes me embraced as **** when you read that these clowns where out shouting abuse at opposition players. If these idiots cannot behave themselves especially on the 50th anniversary of stairway 13, then they should stay in the house or better still find another team to follow because they aren't welcome in the #RangersFamily.
Shouting secterian nonsense at opposition players isn't clever, isn't wanted. Leave that rubbish to that lot. Rant over. Think we need another midfielder in. You could tell we struggled big time today without Jacko and arfield. Zungu has still to settle in and aribo doesn't help his fullback out by getting out to their wide men quick.
