Gerrard will be manager and there is significant investment coming in from the States. Someone connected to Fenway Sports Group (the money behind Liverpool) who don't want to see Gerrard fail in his first managerial role.

Happy days if true

2.) 02 May 2018 08:26:20
Hmmm not entirely sure Fenway would care and they wouldn't they be limited to below 10% as Ashley way due to their involvement with Liverpool

3.) 02 May 2018 08:38:41
Fenway sports are not just going to part with cash that they will never see back just to satisy Gerrards success. For example, they own all Liverpools assets. They won't put money into Rangers because they don't make enough revenue unless the investment is secured against assets which is exactly what Mike Ashley was trying to do

4.) 02 May 2018 08:53:32
American canadian chinese etc anyone else there seems to be a lot of investment coming in from all over the globe . austraila been quiet they must be investing in hearts gees a break if there is investment we will no when announced same as dtevie g

5.) 02 May 2018 09:22:58
Going to be richer than man city. Chinese Singapore Canadian America investment all been mentioned last few days. No south Africa investment mentioned yet. Funny that.

6.) 02 May 2018 09:46:42
Someone is bound to hit the nail on the head eventually with the so called massive investment somebody’s “reliable source “ they can’t all be talking pish surely. 😂

7.) 02 May 2018 10:10:46
rumours of investment have been greatly exaggerated! love it to be true but no sense in making claims on a forum with no tangible link to back you up.

It's a bit like the bhoys claiming we will be entering admin on Monday, and they claim it every week

8.) 02 May 2018 10:33:26
Fenway sports group are arsenal mate that's your point void

9.) 02 May 2018 10:43:36
Tjrfc . Beg to differ . Fenway own LFC

10.) 02 May 2018 10:58:19
Stan Kroenke via Red and White is the owner of Arsenal. Fenway is the Group that have control of Liverpool.

11.) 02 May 2018 10:59:40
Kroenke is the money behind Arsenal FC, Fenway are the money behind Liverpool.

12.) 02 May 2018 11:02:32
Large investment coming in from Nigeria. Apparently, King responded to a random e-mail.

13.) 02 May 2018 11:17:53
Follow follow that could explain murty getting sacked. King couldn't afford the 5k so sent murty instead lol

So fellow bears am i right in saying that the following is the January business we have/ are trying to achieve.

Ins -
Jamie Murphy (Loan)
Sean Goss (Loan)
Jason Cummings (Loan, option to buy £600k)
Russell Martin (Loan)
Greg Doherty (£700k)
Steven Naismith (Loan)
Devante Cole (? )
Tyler Roberts (Loan)
Jordan Jones (£350k)

Out -
Eduardo Herrera
Lee Hodson
Carlos Pena (Loan)
Ryan Hardie (Loan)
Bruno Alves
Fabio Cardoso

Got to say if all the rumours I've heard are true with the above then it wouldn't be a bad January window for us!

1.) 15 Jan 2018 19:14:39
Alves just coming saying he ain't going anywhere

2.) 15 Jan 2018 20:20:45
Would be surprised if Alves left. Who is going to want a 36 year old that has been injured at least 3 times in the last 6 months. Not even sure when he will be back from his latest injury.

3.) 16 Jan 2018 10:40:53
our offers for Jones and Docherty have been laughed at and rejected. were willing to pay over the odds on Mexican garbage but not on home grown talent. Watch these 2 players leave in the window and go down south. Pay the money they want and stop making low ball offers. Embarrassing stuff i have to say.

As far as Cole, Naismith and Roberts go i would say those three are highly unlikely. I'd love to be proved wrong about everything i just wrote and will hold my hands up if i am but our board takes 4 steps forward and 8 back at times. Be on standby for disappointment

4.) 16 Jan 2018 13:09:47
Pretty much every bid any team makes at first is a low ball bid. Calm down

5.) 16 Jan 2018 14:00:10
Isn’t Tyler Roberts a maybe for a pre contract? I thought I read that was the case with a rough 300k compo

I would agree it would be good business if all they players come in maybe to many loans

6.) 16 Jan 2018 17:29:22
Was told Docherty would be signed for £600k but we have started with our usual low opening bid. I understand the strategy it can be frustrating at times.
Iv heard Alex Neil Preston manager is interested now and I’m sure he will be able to offer the £600k asking price, hopefully he wants to come to us and hold out.
I wonder if this signing may be as a replacement for Windass.

I live out in Spain so went to see the team train yesterday. Umar Sadiq was there and being put through his paces at the side of the pitch whilst the rest done ball work. Also interesting was that Flanagan was playing left of a back 3 in the drill they were doing.

Sure we bought Windass for about £65k. if we get anywhere near £2m+ then i would gladly take it. Seeing Steven Caulker has left QPR, wouldn't be a bad shout to strengthen the defence.

Tav was not at fault. what, can he not see you speak now like? If he had a look he would have seen there was a guy behind him, he could then have spoke to one of the centre halfs to pick up his man. its not rocket science. He was then at fault for the 2nd goal. step up and they are both offside! i'm not having a go at Tav here but you can't seriously defend him for those goals!

calvin55 - don't you want success in the near future? Rattling on about sell on money etc is a waste of time. Everyone knows Rangers are not great financially so they know they only need to offer £1m for a £3/4m player and we will accept therefore get proven players in that know the game and let's start winning trophies, forget about your football manager building a team nonsense!

Physical striker. he is built like the gable end of a 5 pound note. I hope he is given a chance however as he seems to know where the net is certainly at U20 and Scotland U19/ 21 level.

Rangers were a far better footballing team than Aberdeen. To say that it could have went either way is a disservice to the squad and their performance! You could say that about any match given both sides have half a dozen chances each!
