This job's far too big for Murty and he will gone by next season. It's not his fault, he's a patsy put in place by a bunch of clueless morons who couldn't run a bath farless a football club. By that reckoning, do we allow Murty to bring in players, and If there's any, spend money in January?

1.) 23 Dec 2017 15:31:45
I like murty but he's too inexperienced and shouldn't be in charge. Board can't replace him because they'll look more indecisive than they already do. Although that shouldn't stop the music From righting there wrongs but they wont

2.) 23 Dec 2017 15:38:39
Stop them from righting there wrongs. Don't know where music came from lol

3.) 23 Dec 2017 15:42:06
surely if this was best we can do, it would have been better leaving pc in charge til end of season.

4.) 23 Dec 2017 15:47:29
Totally agree. Murty was not the answer. We needed a strong manager like pulis but the board have not a clue and failed us again. I am still recovering from watching 70 minutes of the st johnstone game and then they appoint murty. Along with mcoists teams this is the worst rangers team of all time. Utter dross not fit to wear the jersey. Unless there is some big news in the wind i can see very stormy times ahead.

23 Dec 2017 14:21:20
Too much! How much longer must we endure this? The board, again, play a blinder. Murty is a decent coach but that's it. A total shambles of a team, both on, and off the park! King et al hang your heads in shame! How many times must you make a once proud and majestic team look like a complete and utter laughing stock? This needs to stop now! Those out there that still back this shower need to open their eyes now! We'll be lucky to be top 4, or even 6, If this continues.

23 Dec 2017 13:16:37
We should be wearing black masks. If we're honest, this is painful viewing.

1.) 23 Dec 2017 13:45:33
Backs to the wall against Killie! We have no style of play and our shape is all over the place, it’s embarrassing and horrible to watch.

2.) 23 Dec 2017 13:47:34
One of the most uninspiring Inexperienced Rangers teams ever, if that's the best we can put out and play we are in dire straits

3.) 23 Dec 2017 14:23:01
I'm going to lock myself away next Sat cause we are going to get murdered, it could be honestly worse than the 5-1 last season. We should be genuinely concerned with where we are heading, we have no style of play, teams like Hibs, Killie, hearts are improving and appear to have a plan - we are a shambles going nowhere. Let's stop this talk of we are the famous Glasgow Rangers, that was in the past. Now we're a mid table joke. Time to throw in the towel. We will become another Leeds United.

So, McCoist says "You never know" when asked if he would consider going back to Ibrox as manager. Bring back Pedro now if that is the case!
I really do hope this was a tongue n' cheek response to the question with no chance if this ever happening. Or, do you think the board might see this as a chance to get a manager in on the cheap? After all, Ally likes to sign contracts without even reading over the terms and the board could snap him up for a fiver a week.

1.) 27 Oct 2017 17:59:56
is he worth that much

2.) 27 Oct 2017 18:32:06
Knew somebody would pick up on this comment.

If you listen to the actual interview. He explains why he said 'you never know', because he said Rangers are the club he loves and always has loved since a wee boy, and he would never say no to Rangers.

Don't worry, Ally won't be back.

3.) 27 Oct 2017 19:44:09
I'm not worried at all BearMode. Surely my sacarsam shone through in the post? If not, I'll try and make sure I highlight it a little better in the future just so you can pick up on it. Anything I can do to help mate just ask.

4.) 28 Oct 2017 07:53:22
Listen stop slating super ally yes the management side of the game isn't for him but buy god the guy was a sensational player for us and am sure he love the club just as much as us and as for Pedro a do wish him all the best and was gutted it didn't work out for him but to me the dressing room was to much divided and a just wish him and the back room staff all the best.

26 Oct 2017 20:53:42
Big decisions ahead for the board and where the club goes from here! Since Dave King and co swept to power there's been many mistakes made. Warburton got us to where we wanted to be, however, once there he was never good enough and had to go. Pedro! Well, that was one complete and utter balls up from the start! If true, I hear his appointment was all down to Douglas Park and his son who put up the transfer funds and they will also cover the cost of his pay off. This info came from a former player who was knocked back for the coaching role that went to JJ. And by all accounts, the rest of the board had to get a guarantee the Park's would cover the cost of any pay off before they gave the go ahead for him to sign. That proves how much of a bloody risk this was and the lack of faith the rest of the board had with his appointment. I Honestly thought when Rangers men got back control of our great club the days of playing silly and dangerous ganes we endured with Whyte and Green would be long gone. How wrong was I.
FFS Rangers we don"t ask much! All we ask this time is to get it right!

1.) 26 Oct 2017 21:39:53
First thoughts NO to Eck and Davies, maybe to Big Sam or O’Neil, not sure about McInnes. Ranieri could be a risk not worth taking. Would maybe like Amorouso as part of network for contacts

2.) 26 Oct 2017 21:52:09
I think your info could be spot on slk, time for Graeme Park to lay off Championship Manager!

3.) 26 Oct 2017 22:23:59
Feel a bit sorry for Pedro he has had a tad of misfortune, I have been one of the guys who backed him the whole time he was in charge however after the Kilmarnock game well am sure everyone on here would agree we either went out and gave Kilmarnock a doing or it was curtains, well the rest is history so on to the next manager how long this one guys because I’m going to give you’s a reality check, we are not getting near Celtic not for a long time, ”unless” some miraculous Arab comes in and splashes the dough and I doubt very much this will happen so for me it would need to be a manager like Micheal O’neil or the Iceland manager would maybe even consider Wee Strachan!

4.) 26 Oct 2017 22:30:41
Sounds terrible state we are in but I feel the players let us down big time. I was all for Pedro to go but also the board taking punts and giving him cash to buy dross is worse. Hope we get decent scouting system in place and recruit better players which includes more cash. Dig deep board. Yous blundered

5.) 27 Oct 2017 00:23:50
We're in a worse state than I thought, when People are advocating Chesney lol

6.) 27 Oct 2017 07:36:50
Would that former player be Barry blue.
He is tight with DP and GP and Kenny Miller

7.) 27 Oct 2017 08:10:14
i also heard that about Park slk

new man must be british for a start so no to ranieri / gio

martin o’neill and chesn people at the wind up?
jobs too big for mcinnes or tommy wright if you as ask me sorry just way i see it need someone who’s dealt with pressure at a big club

Big Sam or Davies for me - if the former he must have an assistant who knows about scot football ie alex rae

we desp need to get some experience and passion back at our club - some stability wld be nice too

over to you King

8.) 27 Oct 2017 08:59:41
No mate, not Barry. The guy in question is friendly with my wife's uncle and is part of a group of business men and former old firm players who are involved with a football team in East Kilbride. The info is 100% mate as the guy is still well in at Ibrox. The fact that the Park's have wasted so much money on this is totally unacceptable! Serious questions are mounting over the boards ineptitude to question, and deal with this farce! For every step we take going forward, there is looks like there are always two steps back just round the corner. Mine, like many more of my fellow Rangers supporters patience is Waring thin and things need to change now!

£8m? Take the money mate.
I'm sure the American guy we're bringing in is a RB? A creative midfielder who knows where the net is would be nice.

£20m? No!
Unless we can get into the champs league, keep a hold of him and he does well in it, we will never get 20m. Scoring against the likes of Kilmarnock is just not appealing to any team looking to spend that much.

Of course it is! Forget what he done outside football - that's not the point I'm making. When Gazza stepped onto the pitch he was 100% committed. Regardless of whether he was hungover, still drunk, or had been slaughtered in the press, Gazza gave his all on the pitch. That's the only commitment that matters.
Do you think Morisson would give us that? The guy couldn't lace Gazza's boots. Just because someone has a bit of talent, and has off-field problems, doesn't mean he can be compared to Gazza. That's just ridiculous.

Not a chance he will hang around, Yately1. If, at the end of the season, we are double points behind them, will he still be here? Can anybody see us getting our act together and closing the gap? Steven Gerrard has only got one team he is emotionally connected to and it's not us! He can come out and wax lyrical all he wants about Rangers - but his heart belongs to Liverpool. This is where his ambitions lie and he is not going to hang around and damage his reputation with home draws against St Johnstone and every other dire result this season.

Totally agree Jyf. He has hung the players out with that statement and that is not on! He brought in Davis and a number of the empty shirts on the park yesterday and he must shoulder the blame. He picked the team, chose the formation, and instructed them to play the way he wanted them to. Is Steven Gerrard's skin so thin that he can't hold his hands up and admit he got it wrong?

I could be wrong, but is our manager beginning to think this might not be for him and the cracks are appearing by coming out and slating the players like that in the press? If things continue like this, do we really think he will hang around? Brand Gerrard has bigger ambitions than managing us. If there is any risk of this taking a battering, he will be off.

Agreed Craig. Although he is frustrating, and his defending is poor, he does offer us something going forward. The team looks pedestrian enough going forward as it is, so I dread to think what it would be like without him.

For me the main problem is there for everyone to see. Without Morelos we are 1 dimensional. The wee man is the team in the final third of the park. I can't believe some on here wanted him sold in January? It's clearly evident where we are without him.

And before anyone starts about how useless he is when he's banned, forget it. He's still going to be the league's top scorer! He's still going to be the best player in the league! Try changing him and you might not like what we end up with.

Candeias is terrible! He runs about like a headless chicken all day and can't cross a ball. Tav has to be one of the most frustrating players we have! At times his final ball into the opponents area can be perfect and he drives the team forward. However, the majority of the time his final ball is useless and ends up hitting the first defender or being overhit.

Work in progress? Sorry, I couldn't resist that.
If Jack and Arfield were not injured, then why were they dropped? I see our manager has thrown the players under the bus by coming out and tearing a strip off them. No leadership? Considering he chose the captain, bought the players, and chose the team, then the buck stops with him.
How many times is he going to get it wrong? He obviously hasn't learned from previous mistakes.
Yes, we can forget the league. However, the manager has to take responsibility for this.
