Any news on Murphy as reports now saying that the deal is hanging in the balance and he wasn't on the Flight to Florida. Also that Kilmarnock are now in for Naismith! I know there's a few fans that wldnt want him back but surely he's the sort of player we're crying out for, he is most definitely a rangers man at heart. Regardless of the way we parted, it's a job first and foremost and he had to look out for himself and his family.

Is it anywonder no scottish club likes doing business with us we muck about so much it is unreal.
Murty wanted players on board for the trip so he could let the team bond and we end up getting one loan player who we have no chance of signing not very good from the board no wonder no onther manger came in before murty.

2.) 06 Jan 2018 10:36:56
The board are a shambles as far as i am concerned, And i wanat them out 1 player all targets have been identified ad are hoping to have them go to Florida well murty if yeah listen to the board your as stupid as us listning to them. what was the other thing the mamanger will have a sizeabill transfer budget more shite out of your mouth king you are getting very good at it now. don't be supprised if the board new this was going to happen with Murphy wages it will be, I WANT THAT BOARD OUT YOU ARE MAKING SURE NO ONE WANT TO JOIN US WITH THE WAY THE BUISNESS IS RUN YOUR A EMBARRESEMENT TO RANGERS AND EMBARSEMENT AS A FOOTBALL CLUB

3.) 06 Jan 2018 11:05:57
Des,

You want the Board out? For who? Who is going to come in?

They are by no means perfect and I wish they would conduct themselves a bit sharper. However there are no sugar daddies knocking down our door. Fact is there is the chance that if it wasn't for King and Co we may have not had a club at all by now.

4.) 06 Jan 2018 11:29:19
To many fans with short memories.

5.) 06 Jan 2018 11:29:54
What has the board done wrong here, it could as already reported be Brighton holding things up or the player who hasn't played in ages has failed his medical either way that isn't the boards fault, I think the best thing that we can do is wait and see. I sincerely hope that jamie murphy will be a rangers player soon

6.) 06 Jan 2018 11:50:49
I know we all luv a moan bears, but seriously calm down!

Lay off the club and board for a bit and have some faith. I’ve been told by a reliable source murphy will still sign and fly out to florida. Deals been agreed medical passed etc just a few paperwork details from English FA and BHA still to be ironed out. Ok he’s not signed yet but it should still go through.

Pena out and murphy in is a good start so let’s build on results at pittodrie easter road and parkhead and try not to focus on negatives so much. Ok we’ve lost some games we shouldn’t have but it’s Murtys first proper role as manager he’s going to get few things wrong let’s give him and the team the backing they need. Some decent youngsters coming though in mcrorie bates and barjonas fee others on the fringes too. Murty has tightened us up at the back and players have more desire and passion to play for the jersey and each other - that’ll do for me

7.) 06 Jan 2018 11:56:19
@gary75 just read your post back, "Brighton holding things up" or "failed medical" truth is Brighton rejected your 50pence per week offer lol

8.) 06 Jan 2018 12:08:47
prepared to come back on once he’s signed and retract that timmy?

your fans obsession with my club is bordering on ridiculous

9.) 06 Jan 2018 12:51:41
Apparently Naismith has a well known knee problem and if it goes he could be out a long time. Similar situation we had with kranjkar we took a risk and his knee went after a couple of months

10.) 06 Jan 2018 13:33:13
Exaectly Trev👍🏼

The fact they are charging 30 quid in the Kerrydale Suite inside Parkhesd to watch a film about Rangers financial meltdown tells you all you need to know about his mob.

11.) 06 Jan 2018 13:51:08
The problem is apparently regarding paperwork at Brighton, can't see how that's us mucking about . The majority of teams in Scotland have a dislike for us and hold us to ransom, look at Hearts, Aberdeen, Hibs etc. tbey have all done it. Too many people quick to blame the board who are AGAIN sanctioning more transfers and reshaping of the team . The strategy for me is correct this time .

12.) 06 Jan 2018 13:56:19
Exactly bluegenius who is going to replace them stop your moaning.

13.) 06 Jan 2018 15:05:55
Don't know who would replace the current board but the fans have a right to complain. We might not be as badly run as the green, Whyte days but some of the capers the last few years? Wasted millions, signing pedro, the Mexicans. The wages mentioned for some of these players. (they can't be right, surely)

That's Murphy all signed and sealed on a 3yr deal. I really do think he's a cracking player, I know he wasn't great in the old firm games but I feel that was down to how little of the ball he was getting.
He's the sort of player that needs peppered with the ball and then he gets himself going. Goes past players like they're not there and wld def hope that his performances will just get better and better.

1.) 18 May 2018 12:38:19
Wouldn't have bothered not good enough

2.) 18 May 2018 13:23:33
Good player who’ll go from strength to strength!

3.) 18 May 2018 14:30:11
Lucky for us tjay your opinion doesn’t really matter. The only one that matters is Mr Gerrards 😬

29 Apr 2018 15:15:30
You don't want to kick a man when he's down but c'mon. To start with same formation again and to have Cummings up top on his own when his hold up game is non-existent. I really thought we'd have went with the 2 up top and attack the weakest part of their team. We have such a team of imposters that aren't fit to wear our jersey and Tav's first half performance just says it all and he's supposed to be a leader and captain. I'm so disillusioned it's unreal. Just got to hope we can lift ourselves for the last few huge games, not going to help with Morelos and McCrorie both suspended for the hibs game.
😩😩😩😩.

Really good performance last night, thought everyone was up for it aswell. I've never been the biggest Candeias fan but thought his work rate and tenacity up and down the flank was tremendous. Obviously Holt, Tav and Fod were class aswell. Apart from that dodgy 10mins after we'd scored the second, it was a very dominant performance and cld have been even more convincing. It's the most optimistic I've felt in years and there is def progression. Murty might just b onto something here, especially if you look at the quality of the players that were missing. Enjoyed that last night!

1.) 25 Jan 2018 14:35:51
The work rate of the whole team seems to have gone up match by match since Murty was given the job. Impressive team performance watching that last night, and with this months additions everyone is now playing for his place in the team. They need to keep this up now every match, but its a world of difference to what we saw under Pedro

2.) 25 Jan 2018 18:12:23
Yes in the past we have fell away after 35 mins but now look good for 80

19 Jan 2018 09:52:34
I've got to say that I can't understand why we've not made sure that Naismith was back to us. It's the only place he wanted to come but we didn't make any move at all. He's still a cracking player, most definitely a better calibre than what's here at the moment, not to mention very versatile and knows what it is to play for Rangers. I'm well aware opinions differ regarding Naisy and the way he left previously but it's a job and he was advised on what to say etc as it was legal nonsense at that time. Anyone who knows him and his family know just how hard that situation was for him, he wanted back to make any wrongs, right. He LOVES rangers, I'm only hoping when the end of his loan at hearts is over, we're the ones to benefit. This is a chance missed for us in my opinion folks!

1.) 19 Jan 2018 10:28:36
The dreaded press conference will haunt him forever, if he had just left like the rest then I’m sure he would have been back by now. On a footballing perspective he hasn’t had a first team game this season and looking back over his career he has constantly been injured. We need young fit hungry players and he doesn’t fit the bill. I think the £ is better spent on Cummings

2.) 19 Jan 2018 10:38:45
Well we have just hit our nose off to spit our face with this one he will haunt rangers when we play against him. For me this was a huge mistake by rangers

3.) 19 Jan 2018 11:00:57
Naismith = Rat

4.) 19 Jan 2018 11:11:15
Naismith = Pish!

5.) 19 Jan 2018 11:11:50
It is a horrifically bad decision not to sign Steven Naismith. Great player and miles better than what we have. And for all the halfwits going on about his press conference. You have never made a mistake eh? And you would have worked for Green? It's a sad day.

6.) 19 Jan 2018 11:22:22
We have better players than naismith, not needed!

7.) 19 Jan 2018 11:40:37
Name one call because I don't think we do mate naisy is a top player don't Say Cummings As He Has Only Ever Had One decent Season In The Scottish Championship And doesn't Even Come Close

8.) 19 Jan 2018 11:57:44
Nasimith is pish?

It's only a couple of years since he scored a hatrick against Chelsea lol Do you think Cummings will ever be capable of that?

9.) 19 Jan 2018 12:02:57
Who do we have who is better than Naismith? . Gez peace

10.) 19 Jan 2018 12:27:05
Naismith who said we weren't rangers anymore . didn't want him anyway

11.) 19 Jan 2018 12:29:29
Naismith is done, injury prone and not what we need right now not mentioning the leaving us like a rat. Dodged a bullet there

12.) 19 Jan 2018 12:46:02
Lets be clear guys, Naismith wanted to come back to rangers because it suited him and his family. He isn't wanted at Norwich and wants back up the road (built a new big house in Stewarton I believe) . let's say he had offered to play for nothing ( and believe that if you like! ), even if he had given up £10K a week for the next 2 years, it would only get Rangers back the £1M transfer fee he robbed us of when he deserted the club. Rangers paid his wages in full for all of the significant amount of time he was at our club and injured. Make no mistake, he owes us big time. Personally, I am much happier with Cummings - no big outlay and see how he goes - rather than offering ourselves as a convenient bolt hole for a guy with gammy knees. Cummings can only improve, Naismith is on the way down - No more short term fixes please.

13.) 19 Jan 2018 12:52:28
Naismith has played 2 games all season and failed to complete both games scoring a grand total of 0 goals! Gee yourself peace lol😂😂

14.) 19 Jan 2018 13:21:57
Morelos cummings murphy windass all better than naismith. It was the same lafferty, bring him back was the cry. He's like a giraffe on ice. Naismith would be topping up his pension, that's it. End of!

15.) 19 Jan 2018 14:24:53
Next it will be bring back Laudrup, Gascoigne, Goram etc OMFG 😂😂

I think Greg Stewart will surprise a lot of people. He’s a massive Rangers fan but of course that’s not a reason to sign a player. However, He’s a very gifted and technical player with a cracking left peg, totally different to anyone else we have. He’ll do well for us, if given the chance in my opinion.

He's been on loan in Scotland twice. I think the last time with St Johnstone and from what I've seen definitely not any better than what we already have. Another CM!

Don’t know much about him but totally different to what we have and maybe a short term deal to see if it is a match for both parties.

They offered £3.75M but was immediately knocked back. Unless Alfredo wants to go and isn’t up for the fight and what we’re trying to build. No chance I’d let him go. He’s def a £10M plus striker in today’s market! IMO.

A very good player, who'll be itching to get going and build his reputation again after really bad injuries. I hope there is some truth in this as still a really good age 🤞

Loved all the games mentioned. However, it has to be the 2-0 win against Parma. What a performance and what an atmosphere (the best I’ve EVER experienced) . We were amazing that night. Parma has spent a fortune (Buffon, cannavaro, Ortega, Thuram to name a few)
Still gives me goosebumps anytime I watch it.

I’m a massive fan of Docherty and think he is a cracking talent that will only improve under Gerrard. His energy, drive and eye for a pass is an absolute must in this new set up. Obv just my opinion but really do think he will thrive

He’s still very raw as obviously a young lad learning his trade in a foreign country. Morelos is worth a lot more than £2M. Even now he’s a good player. Linked with the correct partner, he’ll b an excellent player for us.
There is always a fair bit of negativity towards Morelos, I know his attitude needs serious adjustments and his immediate craving to move on to supposed bigger and better things are his issues. I believe he is getting advised very very poorly. Hopefully the new management team can get the best out of him.

Totally agree. Alves can still do a great job, just need another good CH to compliment what he bring.
