Pains me to say it but they are so much better going forward than us. It’s rapid with good wingers and have some decent ball playing midfielders. IMO McCausland is so far. Off the grade at the moment and wright is not good enough. Would Cortes, sima, Danilo, halogen or Gouldson have started today, possibly and they would have made the difference.

Cortes and Sima, yes. Balogun and Goldson, probably not. Our problems sadly go well beyond four players. We need an entire new defence, we might be ok in defensive midfield with one quality acquisition, attacking midfield and attack, we need a massive upgrade in quality across the squad.

we have neede a new defence for around 3 years, we should never have allowed goldson to hold us to ransom and we should have realised the fact that tavernier cannot defend, he doesn't know how to,

instead we made them the richest runners up outside the english prem.

Yes I think we’re s much better than what we have just now in attack with the injuries but I don’t think it would be a bad thing if we can get some sort of money for Tav and Goldson. Not one for being bitter or blaming them for results, just a throw but time we moved them on.

Wouldn’t be a bad thing to see the following leave, assuming we can get some decent money for the contracted players

Looks like we’ll be aiming for 7-10 new faces and if so, looking mostly for some bargains. Majority hit the ground, we’ll win the league. Majority don’t, another struggle.

Correct Tom, worryingly, I wouldn't be surprised if both Tav and Goldson are back again next season and if Clement allows that to happen then he isn't the man I thought he was.
He needs to be telling the Board to get the finger out and start signing quality.

Rabbi, when you talk about most of our attackers being injured, the only two of any evident quality are Sima and Cortes! Roofe has been injured for about three seasons, Danilo, we have no idea how good he is!, Lawrence isn't good enough, Matondo isn't good enough and Wright is an embarrassment so I am not sure who of any quality other than Silva and Cortes you are referring to, (and they aren't even our players)!

Sterling needs to play Central midfield. He was a standout in that position and should been used to boss the midfield today. Lundstram or raskin next to him, with diamande higher up. Yilmaz is a gem, and there's a change in dimension to our game when he plays.
