Stadium not to be open for start of season. Reason DELAY in delivery of steel from Asia, surely this material could have been sourced locally. Plenty in west of Scotland would surely been a better option.

They ain’t plenty of option anymore and rangers wouldn’t have got the material.

2.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 15:12:33
Material from Asia is some of the worst out there.

3.) 20 Jun 2024

Spanish john the price of steel and materials is night and day from sourcing local.

What do you mean with that Storm? I run a Fabrication company in Scotland and this is a disgrace.

5.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 15:46:49
The steel is currently at my work of place BHC limited
It’s currently in the paint shop waiting to get painted.

6.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 16:11:46
Yately why not get your company to supply the steel then.

7.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 16:14:22
Probably cost of steel in Britain too steel in Asia? Though I wouldn’t really know, but why else would they buy the steel from abroad?

8.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 16:41:19
John I'm sure yately would supply steel if we paid him and it is a joke our club have to delay playing at home because of this it makes us as a club. look amateurish.

9.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 16:52:46
Once again our "penny pinching" will end up costing us long term.

10.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 17:30:02
It’s not penny pinching .

When I am buying a product am looking for the cheapest price why would you l not?

Liverpool stand they just built ran behind schedule it happens some fans just like to have a go
And be angry.

11.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 17:36:30

20 Jun 2024 18:44:53

20 Jun 2024 19:07:44
John, it’s an embarrassing situation and am sure you can see that?

17.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 19:20:42
The club is a laughing stock these days.

18.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 19:23:08
It’s a poor situation having to play games elsewhere for start of season, certainly wasn’t planned, whether they use a foreign company or Scottish company for steel is irrelevant now, it’s been a balls up that will cost the club having to pay for a stadium short term.

19.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 19:24:17
Surely it's up to the contractor to choose the source of the steel and not rangers, you wouldn't say to a builder I want you to build me a house and I want the blocks from Scotland ??‍♂️.

20.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 20:20:31
Yately, not for rangers, mb for company doing the job

Exactly sir Walter.

21.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 20:36:33
Cifuentes you better get painting mate stop posting on here ?.

22.) 20 Jun 2024
20 Jun 2024 22:12:59
John don't u think it's embarrassing and as far as your dig as steel experts what if others no more than you is that a bad thing, our board not just on this but over past while have been acting like they run a local team not 1 of Europe's biggest and I'm sorry you don't see that.

I admit I don't know much about this conversion work, but, any contract with the builders should surely include late completion penalty clauses, as John said, it makes us look like Amateurs.
