I believe the transfer fee plus the add ons to be worth approximately 23 million in total then the sell on of 10% should Bassey be sold again. Not sure if it’s 10% of the total fee or 10% above the original 18.7 million. Sad to see Bassey go but really good deal. I did hope that the record Scottish transfer fee for an outgoing player would be smashed, still good deal and best of luck for Bassey ?.

I said before the weekend that it needs to start at 25 million for Bassey. Yes it’s exceptional business in relation to his purchase price, but given the his development, and also more importantly, his temperament, I think we should be looking for north of 30 million. Add on etc thereafter.
