The price would be high in Scottish terms and for the kind of money he would cost we would want someone in a bit of form, not a gamble. Too risky for me.

It's clear the lad has talent but also clear its just not going right for him since his move. I think we play a different style, one that would suit hid style of play in my opinion. I think we get him in same deal as the likes of Hagi, Tilman etc loan with set fee to buy could work brilliant for everyone.

The problem that we have is simple, we have to keep taking risks unless we have the funds to bring in better quality that will cost money we don't have and we are not scouting Eastern Europe, lower European Leagues and Scandinavia.
We just need to hope that Beale knows and secures the players he wants and that it works.
We also need to find buyers for players like Lundsttram and Davies that are simply not what we need if we are going the league.

Funny these people that say we don't have money most of or good signings have been done on cheap I'd rather try 2 or 3 players for 0-1.5 million from scandanavia/ eastern europe than 1 guy at 4.5 million.

Roofe transfer fee including his 20 grand a week wages and the add ons if he meets the add on bonuses comes to over 10 million, we paid 4 mill euros up front to Anderlechht, not hard information to find out, so gofor is correct transfer total fee was 6 mill not including the wage and add ons agreed.

Hagi was 3.5 mill euros from Genk, not sure what add ons and wage was agreed at the time.

A lot of these english lads co. e up with too much hype as they are at massive clubs, do well half a season they are the next big thing so clubs stick massive fees on them, n its a majour responsibility on a young head, if they com of the boil, can be a big hit on their confidence as start getting loaned else where, because of the superstars in front of them. I didn't check my fees before posting my bad but sentiment the same.

Blue dreamer don't think we can put Brewster in same bracket as cantwell who was a premier League regular and was touted for a big move before Thier relegation. Brewster never really played the higher level to any real effect.
