Nicolo Schira confirming kent will not be staying, as said previously, Romano on roids. What a waste of 7m. His time here has overall been an abject failure.

As much as I have never been a huge fan of Kent I think this is a bit harsh.

Domestically he has been poor but he has been excellent in Europe. He has been key in us moving up the rankings and having a really good haul of coefficient points. This translates into a lot of money for the club and has brought in a lot more than we spent on him.

Very harsh. Agree it’s time to go but I was also in Belgrade the night his goal made sure we went through. All in perspective and remember how amortisation works. It would have been preferable to have shifted him for a fee last summer but a moot point now.

Played his part in Europe when teams opened up against us. Spat the dummy far too many times domestically, struggling against teams intent on defending. Void of ideas and just tries the same thing over and over again. His time is up and wish him well.

There are a lot of harsh comments on here regarding Kent. Has he been of a consistently high standard? No, has his goal and assist contributions been good? No, however he has given us some great moments. With that said, time for both player and club to move on, good luck to him for the future.

Tjrfc2 I agree with what you are saying hence my post saying his goal and assist contribution was not good. He did give us some good moments but wasn't consistent.

He's got 13 G/ A in 40apps and we've practically had no striker since after the WC.

Not saying he's been good enough but if you say he needs 15 goal contributions to be deemed good enough then your expectations are low. Half assed Kent has hit 13.

I agree Paul, He has the ability to hit double goals and assists.

I was just meaning a half assed Kent can get 15 G/ A would probably be more if we had other attackers and he put the effort in but I'm certainly not blaming him. He's clearly got too comfortable and that's on the board.

Look I'm not a Kent fan and have taken the Mickey a few times about his shooting ability but!

The hate being directed at one of our players just because he has honoured his contract and is looking at his options is absolutely disgusting.

Regardless of his ability people can never say he hasn't given it his all and I for one wish him well in whatever he does he gave us some good times and again it was not his decision not to accept offers for him when we had the chance.

I don't agree it's a dig at Kent to sat its time to leave.
His stats, like Morelos' just aren't good enough.
His attitude like Morelos' just aren't Rangers like.
If he could have learned to shoot when it's on, and not over dribble with two many touches he would be 100% better.
Lots of players have given us special momemts but when you see a talent wasting, stagnating, and not happy it's time to go!

Agreed that he has had a poor season but the wee man had a lot to do with our run in Europe last year.
