Lad I work with is a Plymouth fan and reckons that both us and Celtic are interested in Michael Cooper. Was the best keeper in league one in 22/ 23 and won their player of the season as they won the league but broke his leg. Missed the first half of the championship season but he thinks he's been the best keeper in the league since coming back. Year left on his deal so they could be forced to sell him. Guess this would be dependent on Butland leaving.

Northern if we were to sign him he would only be back up as if Butland is to leave we will be signing a top quality number 1 with champions league experiance or promoting Robby to number 1.

Cammy cause unless butland leaves he would only be back up, also we need to be looking better than english league 1 for our number 1. Also there is lots of GK with CL experiance out there that we can afford just need to look at Jack Butland people said there was no chance he was coming last year.

Just not sure Robby is the guy. Played very well in a couple of games then didn’t inspire confidence in a couple more. Would be one hell of a brave call to decide he’s number one for the season.

@ibroxstorm to be fair he’s in the championship now and was one of the better keepers. Their fans seem to think he’s destined for better things.

Sir Struth so what’s wrong with wanting a young Scottish rangers supporting goalie to get his chance when he was in decent form up until one shaky performance at end season.

Hindsight is a great thing eh! At time butland hand to really played we had no way of knowing how he would do

How many clean sheets does butland have against Celtic again? None!

8 goals conceeded in 4 games.

Seen far better keepers come and go at rangers when ball at his feet he’s a bombscare decent shot stopper and great attitude but not irreplaceable.

People said the exact same stuff about Alan Mcgregor when he was coming through as they are about Robbie and now mcgregor is classed as a club legioned.
