Great guy. Know him very well and also a good blue nose. Highly regarded by all in the game including the other lot. This would be excellent.

I agree Ibrox4Me that it possibly could be a great appointment for our club and didn't realise andrew mckinlay was a blue nose, as i had read about his hearts connection and i think his great, great grandfather or something like that actually played for hearts, so i assumed he was a hearts man ?.

He’s a really good guy. definitely blue use with his great grandfather ex Hearts. Well regarded at Hampden as well across the city which is no bad things. Also rated by the guys at UEFA. Could be a shrewd appointment and one I’d be wet confident in. No guarantee he’d take it but if he does, it’ll be because he’s happy with what he says. Not a yes man and doesn’t take any nonsense.

Whats his track record like on organising big lumps of steel?

He worked at the AFA so certainly useful with brass necks and lumps of wood.

Ibrox4Me, hearts CEO andrew mckinlay is obviously good at his job and highly thought of and like you say he's a bluenose, so surely wouldn't knock back the chance to be the new rangers CEO, if that chance arrived at his door ?But it got me thinking mate that i had previously heard mckinlay speaking very highly of steven naismith and a bad thought entered my head mate ? I started thinking ahead that if mckinlay did become our new CEO, there would be a very realistic chance that he'd push for/ want steven naismith to be rangers manager, once clement's time was up, one way or another ?I don't want naismith ever anywhere near our club ?.

Has to talk up his manager. Don’t think Naismith is anywhere near coming to us. He’d turn the job down if he doesn’t like what he sees behind the scenes. He’s no mug and will know exactly what’s he’s taking on. If he’s offered the job, pretty sure he’d take it though, he’ll fancy his chances of being a success.

Hope this Hearts CEO is nonsense, he’s close friends with Joe Savage, everywhere Savage has went Frankie McAvoy has went only missing part is Alex Neil, from a previous Hearts employee I know personally they are toxic and bullies.

Might be pals but he’s never worked with him previously. We have a management and coaching team and that won’t be changing anytime soon.
