Rangers got a list of 19 players 5 of them are at euros now , all free agents ,Any guesses couple of Croatian players are up for free Gattuso , Black , Aluko, Alan smith , lovenkrands, ??

Believable15 Unbelievable30

Every club in europe has scouts at the euros, and none of them are bankrupt. Do you think there are 5 players there that nobody else will notice ?

Agree0 Disagree0

I've said before that I think Green wants the CVA to fail but now I'm utterly convinced of this with all his talk of signing players at the Euros and increasing Ally's budget by 1.5 million just days before creditors are to vote on the proposal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would you change jobs go to a new employee who is in the back of beyond makes workers take wage cuts doesn't know where it will be working next year. I would if there was nothing else on the table but would want me money up front.

Agree0 Disagree0

Green is an absolute nut job. Promises to be gone in a year yet no exit plan or up front disclosure of whats in it for him and his 2 to 20 strong consortium(depending what day of the week it is)
He makes Whyte look respectable!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's maybe time people stopped believing the rubbish written in the paper and the what someone trying to make millions off your back tell you.

Agree0 Disagree0

If the CVA fails then Green gets Rangers for less money. But he then needs to get his newco approved to play in the SPL - which is liklely.

One possible problem for him could be that a better offer comes along and the liquidator rips up the deal he made with D&P. In which case he walks away and has spent no money and could even sue for breach of contract. So it's still win-win.

Agree0 Disagree0

How many of them have got a good 10 + years left of their career (except Aluko) none of them and wages would be a huge stumbling block (apart from Gattuso)

Agree0 Disagree0

Just talking up for season ticket sales.

Doesn't cost anything to look, but without knowing which league playing in, whether we are out of Europe for 3 years or if indeed we have a year suspension from SPL coming, expecations need to be managed regarding player purchases.

Agree0 Disagree0

If cva fail and green gets ibrox for £5 million - its a steal.

all his free publicity seems to try to get creditors to reject cva.... ?

Agree0 Disagree0

What 5 r away to the euros

Agree0 Disagree0

At last most bears have finally seen through Charles Green, who it definitely appears wants the CVA to fail so he can make more money out of an Ibrox liquidation firesale.

Please stop embarrassing our club Mr Green and taking us for mugs. BB

Agree0 Disagree0

Would you change jobs go to a new employee who is in the back of beyond makes workers take wage cuts & doesn't know where it will be working next year.
No player who is ambitious would choose such a route. Players at the end of their careers trying to squeeze out a living - no problem.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Just talking up for season ticket sales."...................whack nail hit on head

Agree0 Disagree0

He should not have to talk up season ticket sales, if gers fans do not realise the importance of filling up Ibrox by now, then the club is dead as a dodo.

It would be ironic if Raners went into liquidation next year because of falling attendances, so much for loyalty and not walking way.

Birmingham City Sign Aluko

Birmingham City delighted to confirm the return of England forward Aluko to the club.

The vastly-experienced 24-year-old will be back in royal blue
Commenting on her homecoming, Aluko said: “It feels good to back. It was a big decision for me to come back to England and play. ”Birmingham’s a club very close to my heart and this was an easy decision for me.” {Ed039's Note - This is an article for Sone Aluko's sister Eniola lol)

Believable19 Unbelievable42

How much did that cost him? {Ed039's Note - Not him ............ her, his sister)

Agree0 Disagree0

Think the clue was in the 'her'!!? :-/

Agree0 Disagree0

Birmingham are under a transfer embargo............ just saying

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true u cant blame him he had 2 pay compensation to aberdeen and took a wage cut good luck to him. As for Green am sick of him spouting his rubbish in the papers,I wish he and the rfff would stop dreaming and give us some transparency on the meeting they had last week and wat about small creditors who are suffering cos we dont pay our debts never reading about Greens 30 million he will have nxt month.

Agree0 Disagree0

As previously posted Football League imposed a sanction preventing the club from trading players after they missed the March deadline to submit their accounts for 2010-11. It is still in force.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously can you not read every thing lol?

Agree0 Disagree0

It's his sister!!!! {Ed039's Note - Thats what I said lol)

Agree0 Disagree0

Do birmingham even have a manager yet. aluko won't ge joining birmingham. another sh*T stirring timmy, wish they would bugger off! {Ed039's Note - READ THE RESONSES. ENIOLA ALUKO HIS SISTER LOL)

Agree0 Disagree0

Some Rangers fans not exactly showing any intelligence on this thread.

Naismith has given Moyles his word he will sign for Everton, Moyles now waiting until CVA is approved or not approved to see if Everton need to pay a fee or Naismith is available for free if Rangers are liquidated and newco formed.

Source : Rangers fan who is a mate of James McFadden.

Believable22 Unbelievable55

Absolute Tosh mate!
Naismith has three years left on his contract which will automatically revert to SFA ownership, upon liquidation, and this will be part of the creditors pot.
He also has a renegotiated contract tied into the wage deferral case, and this will trigger a £2million fee. So he won't be going to anyone for nothing.
P.O.B.

Agree0 Disagree0

Chris Moyles ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Are Rangers selling him to take over radio one ???

Agree0 Disagree0

One thing Naismiths agent was quick to say no move to West Ham last week, but no statement on Everton move?

Agree0 Disagree0

If Naismith doesn't take advantage of £2 million move option, then is he type of player Rangers want? Any player with ambition wants an EPL move.

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember Fraser Wishart stated players can move for free if newco formed? Green also stated this week newco = £7million in saved wages!

Agree0 Disagree0

Green talking about saving if out of Europe for 3 years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would david moyes tell a player he has released who he is signing? graeme

Agree0 Disagree0

Players can move for free if rangers are liquidated..player contracts are nul and
void..players are not an asset that you can liquidate... source employment law

Agree0 Disagree0

Contracts can be sold on to Newco by D&P.

Agree0 Disagree0

Contracts can be sold on to Newco by D&P.
ehh no they cant so if arnold clark were to form a newco rangers they would have the rangers players contracts dont belive anything u hear from duff and duffer they are in it for themselves

Agree0 Disagree0

At no point will D&P own the contracts no matter what happens. They belong to rangers now, if rangers are liquidated they become the property of the SPL. Wishart said so. And it's his job to know

Agree0 Disagree0

...property of SFA not SPL (and its at SFA Board discretion if transfer money is released to liquidator - SFA might be pushed to pay football creditors first).

Agree0 Disagree0

The contract doesn't revert to SFA, rather they become the holders of the registration.

Its a safeguard for players to be able to find new employment if a team goes bust

Agree0 Disagree0

Nasiy going no where trust me

Agree0 Disagree0

If Rangers liquidate and players aren't transferred to NEWCO then they can walk free of charge. If they are sold with the other assets of RFC to NEWCO before any liquidation then they can't walk (they are not employed by the liquidated company at the time of the liquidation) so their contracts continue with the same T&Cs. Companies are sold every day and employment contracts are merely transferred with protection, but no right ont he employee's part to terminate just because they dont like their new employer. SPFA may be challenging this as a potential outcome, but they would need to go through European court to change it.

Agree0 Disagree0

O.k poster above in u wee trust.. NOT?

Rangers could sign new players before exiting administration
10 June 12 15:06

Rangers could attempt to sign new players before the club is officially out of administration.
Charles Green is aiming to have a Company Voluntary Arrangement approved on Thursday, after which there is a 28-day cooling-off period.
But SPL rules state that, with board approval, clubs in administration may replace players whose contracts expire.
"If you are correct, that is an avenue open to the club," Green told BBC Scotland on Sunday.
Rule 6.20 of the Scottish Premier League's regulations makes provision for signings being made in special circumstances by clubs who have suffered an insolvency event.
While there is no guarantee the SPL board would approve any signings, with several players' contracts expiring, that could allow Rangers to use the rule to bring replacements in.

Green at it again ..... Poised to sign several players when he hasn't paid the bills for guys in the club at present or bills to other SPL clubs and European clubs. Incredulous rhetoric...... I think he knows SFA is going to suspend and HMRC/ Ticketus will reject the CVA. Also he's getting the feeling that fans won't buy season tickets for over a month.

Believable20 Unbelievable30

Don't think creditors would be happy if we're signing players

Agree0 Disagree0

SPL have not handed over the £900k for second place. Guess that'll go to the other SPL teams and to pay the SFA fines 160k and 200k for Whyte.
Also Green tried to stop the 28 day cooling off period for creditors! What a shyster.
Guys wake up, this guy cannot be our only option. It's Whyte with a better line in fibs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus will agree CVA because Ticketus behind green. They don't want liquidation unless get assets from Whyte in court.

Agree0 Disagree0

The 200k fine for craig whyte cant be passed to rangers hence the reason why the sfa are rather ironically going to be taking craig whyte to the court of sessions to claim the money,

taking a football matter to a civil court tut tut, guess that rule only applies one way lol,

p.s i aint defending craig whtye i hope they nail him, just pointing out the irony of the situation,

Agree0 Disagree0

Pity the poor creditors. Who is going to vote for the CVA if we are (sorry HE is) even thinking about buying players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate do you believe everything this guy is saying...Wake up another whyte .All he is doing is making sure a cva is not accepted .FFS

Agree0 Disagree0

The important phrase here is " with board approval" another sham in the making,,,,,,,JohnnyG

Agree0 Disagree0

Officially still the three Directors of Rangers FC in administration are 1) Craig Whyte 2) Ellis and 3) King.
All three were directors as the club went into administration and are, under existing Uefa and SFA regulations not fit and proper persons to hold offices in association football, so why are they still there?
Craig Whyte specifically has been found guilty of footballing crimes and not fit and proper. Why is he still a director?

Agree0 Disagree0

Afraid not(read the last few lines)
Except with the consent of the Board and that only where (i) the term of a Player’s contract of service with his Club has expired and such contract has not been renewed or extended or such a contract has terminated with the mutual consent in writing of the Club and the Player concerned and, in either case, the registration of such Player with the League in terms of Section D of the Rules has been cancelled and a replacement Player is sought to be registered to replace the Player whose contract has so expired or been terminated; or, (ii) where the Player sought to be registered is a temporary replacement for a goalkeeper who is unable by reason of injury or illness to play and that only where written confirmation of such inability shall have been obtained by the Club from a qualified medical practitioner and submitted to the Board and the Board is satisfied that the Club concerned has no other goalkeeper who is registered and able to play, a Club that has taken, suffered or has been subject to an Insolvency Event or Events shall not be entitled or permitted to register any Player with the League and the League shall not register such a Player in terms of Section D of the Rules until such Insolvency Event or events shall no longer continue or subsist.

Agree0 Disagree0

So to 'Afraid not' above.....

It's more Green lies? Signing players is just not possible....

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll have some of what he's on lmao

Agree0 Disagree0

More idiocy from Green. Like yesterday in his Daily Record interview with Jim Traynor, claiming at this moment in time:

‘Because of the players and staff who have left we are close to break even already.’

Now any half decent journalist might have asked how after only losing a couple of players on modest salaries and Gordon Smith and with no real income coming in to Ibrox this could be remotely possibly? It isn't remotely credible.

Believe nothing this shyster says. As for giving him season ticket money? I don't think so somehow. BB

Agree0 Disagree0

Does anyone know anyone who says they will buy a season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes thats real integrity for you can't pay ur creditors but you can sign players what about small businesses other teams who are owed money from you

This stanks

Agree0 Disagree0

He cant sign players, its only a very poor sales pitch to get the fans to part with money for 2 tears season tickets. The man is a very very poor salesman. He thinks that all Rangers fans are stupid and will buy into anything to save the club. He has no respect for authority and will further disgrace the name of Rangers. Get shot of this moron before its too late.

Agree0 Disagree0

Received the begging letter from Green today re season ticket 12/13 - wants the money in by 2nd July. I for one will not be renewing in current circumstances, if at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

If he was Bill Gates ,with all the funds he needed, Green has so antagonised the SFA and SPL that getting their agreement/permission would never happen. He slaps them across the face and then asks for a favour.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jun 2012 12:24:28
I cannot believe what Green is saying in the papers today. It seems he says anything to get through Thursday.

£30m to be raised during the cooling off period? 28 days from Thursday? He says it's two years tickets money! Where's that coming from? I'm not buying two years tickets in the next month!

We can sack him if we like! By buying his shares, so that'll be another £20m right!! Ffs.

How is his £8.5m LOAN related to not destroying the 26,000 shareholders? I'll tell you, so that the 26,000 shareholders of Rangers owe him the money and interest back!

I cannot believe he is not allowing the SFA to complete its panel judgement, dragging it out to the 21 day point of appeal to court of session, then not appealing. Thus dragging the whole SPL and SFL into fixtures chaos for next season.

Believable34 Unbelievable16

HMRC won't agree a CVA unless they know who the shareholders are and are satisfied that they will pay PAYE etc in full and on time moving forward. So Green's stance of agree CVA and we'll disclose shareholders afterwards won't wash.

Agree0 Disagree0

The 30mil is equal to 2years ticket
money, not actual ticket money mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Can anyone please advise why Green doesn't come clean on his 20 person consortium? Well 19 since Mike McDonald pulled out. why can't he name them before the CVA? Is it because no creditor would vote to take their money if they knew who they are? I don't understand what's the secrecy about ??

Agree0 Disagree0

If we don't get to play in the SPL next season or even the SFL if the worst comes to the worse, who could we be playing and how much money would we have coming in.

If we were out of the SPL & SFL could we play friendlies against european sides. Or would UEFA/FIFA stop that ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Never mind that he wont be there longer than a year

SSN yesterday

lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

Ned to be in the SFA to play friendlies against teams from other associations

Agree0 Disagree0

No association football team under FIFA would be allowed to play us during the suspension.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is the reason why rangers are despised and not just disliked. Disgusting buying players when they are stealing ppls via the joke CVA. If i was a bear I could not allow myself to support a club that shows not one hint of romorse or compassion.

Agree0 Disagree0

To last post, how many victims of crime show remorse? Rangers fans are victims of crime, why should we say sorry?

Agree0 Disagree0

He is desperate to get season ticket money. Has anyone committed themselves to buying or know anyone who has. Look pretty stupid in a crowd of 100 or so.

Agree0 Disagree0

No one is buying until cooling off period completed, SPL investigations are over and SFA penalty published and theirs/ UEFA and FIFA investigations over. No emotional blackmail, no gullible here Mr Green, commit the money u say u have to commit then we start paying in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumour Ticketus is 50% of Greens consortium. Ticketus will own 50% of rangers and get their money back one way or another. That's why greens not coming clean.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are we attracting all these bogus buyers? Bill Miller, Bill Ng, Whyte, Blue Knights, and now Green. All in it to line their pockets. Green couldn't give a flying fox for Rangers survival he like the others is looking to make some money from our misery!

Agree0 Disagree0

Writing this with an open heart and honesty. I have a lot of great friends and family who are blue blooded Rangers fans and it is now heart breaking to see what has become of their club. Everybody and his dog wants to pitch in with their expert opinion as to why they should be punished. I as a lifelong Celtic fan want to take a stance on this and say that due to the mis management of the club, Rangers fans were lead to believe that there was a bottomless pit of wealth and that they could buy any player that they wanted and therefore win boundless amounts of leagues and trophies. So if we move up to the present day and the misery that has been bestowed upon the club, I see a lot of proud fans who have been lied to and are still being lied to. the club is now at the stage where only the charlatans of the business world want to get involved to make a quick buck and move on. they are prepared to lie and cheat to get what they want and when it all comes to light, they will have brought more shame on Rangers. I urge all decent Rangers fans to think very carefully about what this so called consortium is going to do with the club and review any other options that must be available. I dont wish to see any more of my friends and family hurt by the goings on at present and would like to see the SPL get back to what it is meant to be. I think that genuine Rangers fans realize that unfortunately the club will have to take some form of punishment, but everyone else has to accept that it is not the fans who are to blame here and move on whatever the outcome is on 16th June.

Yours in Football.
J

Agree0 Disagree0

Season ticket sales - hmmmm - there's no way Ticketus are giving more money and I would think any other finance company would stay clear too.

Are Ticketus with Green? I don't think so. There's no way they can get £27m back again that way without forcing Rangers back into administration again. They are stuffed with the CVA and whatever thay can get from Whyte.
