On the zaluskas debate on offical rfc website superally is saying that the boy is extremely fit don't know if he fancies him or he's talking about his health but the SUPER1 is saying it is between zaluskas & pandza for a contract, the boy kelly has been let go, on being stung by players who had injuries when they signed for us alan mclaren & dado prso both had knee injuries & done not 2 bad, mclaren never trained with team he only did work in the swimming pool

Lets not forget dan prodan. 3 yrs or so at ibrox and never played due to a bum knee that wasn't spotted during his medical. Cost a good few million aswell!

@op andhol bear don't you find this a little bit alarming news gets leaked his ankle might not ever be the same and everybody's talking about it (well the vast majority are) and then ally comes out and said how much the guy is looking super fit? Look if there wasn't something up worrying the club about Zaliukas, why would they have to give him a trial then? Why not just go give him a medical and sign him? Come on bears. Something isn't right here!

Govan front I know what happened with prodan & heard john greig had 2 be held back from him when we played over in ulster 1 time, remember he got injured coming of the bus, all I am saying is not every player is the same, the 2 I pointed out did good jobs for us now as I say it has a lot 2 do with the player, I remember big mcleish was asked after a game why r de boer hadn't played & he said he had a sore big toe could you imagine telling that 2 a dressing room with j. browns & ian fergusons in it I think you would be playing

Alex1972 were was this leaked from m8 I have not seen it anywhere apart from on here, I don't know who SUPERALLY will pick but if I was picking then I think I would go for zaluskas for 2 reasons first he knows our football second I think he would suit the way we are playing just now, heard the boy pandza is a good rugged centre half but not the best with ball at his feet, 1 other thing I think pandza must be asking for 2 much wonga

Prodan never got injured coming off the bus, he was injured before he arrived! There was no medical it was a botched transfer that was rushed through! Rangers thought about suing athletico over false medical paper etc

Agree2 Disagree2

Just a quick check?, why has ever 1 now changed there mind about Ally.
Have I missed something what has he done in the past few weeks that as all of a sudden made him SUPERALLY again 2 bad results again witch will come trust me, he will be a bad manager, has no tactics not got a glue I am puzzled with a lot of people on this site. Its very strange

@6 Prodan got injured on the team bus on his way to his comeback game! I'm sure Lafferty managed to get injured coming off the team bus once.

Parky

Agree0 Disagree1

It is just a pity that Lafferty wasn't injured before he signed for us. A bigger waste of money I have yet to see! At least we had an insurance claim on Prodan.

Agree0 Disagree1

From what I read from all of Allie's comments regarding these two. It can only mean one thing. And that is that the Pandza deal is dead and Zaliukas is the real option. I think they're just kidding us on that they are still to decide. They let the boy Kelly go because they couldn't agree to a deal and the Pandza deal has been going on for months now. Zaliukas is the cheaper option. Don't know why they can't just come out and say that instead of thinking they can kid us on.

Reply #4: When you say Zaluskas are you meaning the Celtic keeper? I don't see us going for him!

Gers pair Scott Gallacher and Andy Mitchell could both make loan moves away from the club later this week.

heard from a family friend that one of the board groups fighting for control, will "unveil a backer" with lots of money hopefully! just before the AGM, so as to 1. win over the doubters. 2. "finish off the challenge of the other board members. 3. show that RFC are back and ready to go in the top flight.

Another backer who hasn't bought shares? That will be Dave King then?

Agree0 Disagree2

Will "unveil a backer" with lots of money hopefully!

Would that be wealth off the radar by any chance?

Agree0 Disagree2

Agree - it can only be Dave King.

I hope I am proved wrong and there is someone else, along with Mr King.

Altho this is a dodgy rumour, I desperately hope Dave King returns,
A real bluenose who understands what our club means ' and is able and willing to help us return to our position in the game, there will be some who will automatically say no and some who will accuse him of tax offences, they should read the story of his case first before posting, no jail time, no fraud charges to answer, and a glesga boy,

Where did mike Ashleys naming of the stadium go?

Agree1 Disagree1

Until such times as this "family friend" tells you which side this mystery backer will be taking sides with, I will treat this as nothing more than someone trying to get a rise on this site.

It's not even a rumour, it's half a rumour! Tell us more and I may believe you!

Agree0 Disagree1

Just call an EGM, stop wasting anymore time.

For a board that seems to be scatter-cash when it comes to everything else, they seem to want to stall the shareholders meeting as long as they can.

They are at it, and everyone knows it

Agree0 Disagree1

Why wait until the AGM to pull the rabbit out the hat? Its not a stage show (hopefully!), its a business that despeately needs to change its business model and live within its means. Sugar daddies are great for give the DR 'Billionaire ' headlines but cash injections soon run out if there is not a sustainable business model ( IPO money?), we need real business men to sort this thing out - forget Rangers men - get real business guys in to fix this mess!

Agree0 Disagree1

Let's have a think about this. A mysterious backer who is willing to throw millions and millions of pounds to get Rangers into the league they don't want to play in and then, throw even more millions of pounds at creating a team because all the players currently there will be too old, out of contract or just not good enough. So, this mysterious backer obviously has an ounce of common sense because heshe has mad a few quid, so why would they invest it into a club going nowhere fast. There is no money to be made in football unless you are the Glazers, so unless you have someone in the shadows who has a spare £50million to buy out the shareholders and then finance the player purchases, wages, running costs etc then I think this is just another Saturday night Buckfast dream. Your club HAS to learn to live within it's means, that still isn't happening as you are still shipping money out the door at an alarming rate and until that is stopped and the club learns to live within its means then you will continue to lurch from drama to crisis.

Agree3 Disagree2

Wealth off the radar, warchests havn't we been down this road, let's just work back to the the top within our means and without huge debts

Agree0 Disagree1

Maybe i'm off ma head or something but, why wouldn't some rich investor come in for rangers? It would be hard to entice the creme de la creme of players to the sphell but if we got a decent team we would be certain of a crack at champs leage every year. let's face it those other lot ain't that good so why the hell not. Just a thought.

Agree0 Disagree1

£50 million quoted above is not a lot of money in reality and a syndicate of like minded people could certainly put that sort of sum together very quickly if it meant putting the Club back to its rightful position in Scottish Football.

@op don't know what to believe any more or who to trust, haven't gave up on Rangers (never will) but I don't think I will be able to ever trust whoever comes in never mind who it is now, sad to say but been burnt and duped to many times now, THIS SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED OR ALOUD TO HAPPEN AT ANY CLUB, ESPECIALLY SCOTLANDS BIGEST CLUB, THE MIGHTY GLASGOW RANGERS! Let's all hope we don't get duped burnt and walked over again, who Knows there might not even be a rangers to come back to soon! : (

beware gers fans, a few replies to this post reek to high heavens of timism, " Unless your the Glazers?"have you ever heard such s****, the Glazers are up to their armpits in debt,
please do not rise to the posts of people who are here to wind you up. and remember, their biggest fear is the gers return stronger than ever

Thommy blue is on the glue!
The glazers are making money and servicing the debt, Manchester United is worth treble now to what they paid

Aye they all came running when RFC went down the tubes and it would have cost onlt £5 Million back then

Agree0 Disagree0

£50M is a lot on money to most people, businesses and football clubs but not to Rangers. £22M gone in 7 months so £50M will keep us going for a year. Yes we need investment but - boy do we need cost cutting. What is the point of Murray Park the latest super-kid in Scottish football is at Tannadice. Ally will be in the Transfer Market to buy players and success as soon as he is able. What hope is there of unearthing the great young homegrown talent if the spend for success is the manager's preferred route?

Agree1 Disagree0

@ tommyblue it's Man U who are in debt the glazers put all the debt on the club

Agree0 Disagree0

yes I apreciate Manchester United have the debt, but I also remember watching a documentary on the Glazers a couple of years ago, with massive USA shopping centres closing down weekly, they fly by the seat of their pants, i'm not saying their skint, i'm saying they have a lot odf debt
and BTW I don't take glue, and my name doesnty have an H in it duh
