Where was everyone last night? Were you all on here bitching about Green or white or boycotting the team or what. The Linfield fans were magnificent and made it a good night but a night that was deserving of a bigger crowd!

Believable86 Unbelievable84

Wind your neck in people are not going until we get answers from green

I for one simply had no interest in the game.

Agree4 Disagree0

Perhaps a poor choice of team to play against in current times. Linfield? Their fans are hardly going to improve our reputation, are they? We would have been better off playing Halifax.

Agree5 Disagree1

Season ticket holder for over 25years and no interest in friendly with the worst Rangers team and manager and yes without a doubt this is the worst Rangers team I have watched!!! John F

Agree3 Disagree2

Has anyone heard about a big rumour that is doing the rounds because apparently someone from rangers has had to come on twitter to deni it, they were talking about it on the radio tonight and never said what it was and iv been all over the net and can't see anything, and for rangers or someone from rangers to react to it i'm wondering if there is any truth to what it is. i'm CONFUSED

Agree0 Disagree0

Calm yerself buddy I don't finiosh my work till 6 quite hard to get from Edinburgh to Glasgow for 7. 15

Agree0 Disagree0

Stupid to play this fixture now. It should have been held back to pre season and played on a Saturday.

Agree1 Disagree1

Linfield hosted a friendly in Belfast to raise money for rangers in an hour of need. The return friendly was an opportunity for rangers and their fans to return the favour. What was the official attendance at ibrox?

Agree0 Disagree1

Yes, have to agree with all above, friendly against Linfield hardly a crowd puller, and our team is akin to Sunday pub team standard at the mo, whatever Ally says. Been going to Gers for over 30 years, travelled all over Europe during the Glory champs league years, spent fortunes following the team and a current shareholder for the second time, it's going to take some real answers to come out of the club once and for all for me to keep calm and carry on, as patience is wearing thin and belief in the team is waning. It's all we talk about these days.

Agree0 Disagree0

@5, rumour about second SFA charge to be raised regarding comments made by CG on Radio Clyde last week. SFA and RFC have both confirmed that it's hokum.

Agree0 Disagree1

The team is rancid mate, Manchester United want us in the EPL so let's go. oh wait a minute, that was tosh wasn't it? Well at least our link up with Dallas Cowboys will generate some well needed income and a boost to the playing squad. Oops, that was fiction as well. Well all is not lost. Murray Park will be renamed as a tasty bit of business. Sorry, I forgot that was fantasy as well. It's time for honesty, or that crowd will be what Green has to look forward to next season

Agree3 Disagree0

Official attendance 12453, with around 1000 of them Linfield supporters, taken from article on linfield website, at least they used all digits fom 1 to 5 in the total. Would have thought we could have had more there, but Green's not Helping. let's SE what comes out of the board meeting!

Agree0 Disagree1

Not going near Ibrox again this season until we get some clarity on the current situation. Season tickets renewal coming up also, if there's nothing sorted by then, some other mug can have my seat.

(Not going near Ibrox again this season until we get some clarity on the current situation. Season tickets renewal coming up also, if there's nothing sorted by then, some other mug can have my seat)

Totally agree mate, unlike the thieving, corrupt, conniving b's***ds who keep on telling us to buy into everything to keep our club afloat, we the ordinary supporters don't have bottomless pockets, most of us are working class with our own financial problems, the hoo ha at the beginning of the season was all fine and dandy, now its all worn a bit thin because NO one at Ibrox seems capable of telling the fans wtf is going on - we all know Green is only here for the money yet he spouts craps like "after being here i'm now a fan blue blood b*******" he has been found out to be a liar and every time he opens his gob he embarrasses our club even more. I'll continue supporting my club up until my season ticket runs out and that will be it for me until I know where my hard earned cash is going and more so WE start getting told the truth.

Agree0 Disagree0

I, ll tell you why the crowd was so low, just like last weeks game at hampden there was no freebies like there is every other week at ibrox. jamie.

Agree0 Disagree0

Charles green today will step down as rangers ceo. the last few weeks events have been totally and utterly embarrasing and now green has taken the decision to resign. more board members will likely go with him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whoever wanted to buy Rangers through a CVA had to deal with the owner of the shares. Therefore everyone was courting CW and that includes CG, however as it happened the club was liquidated and there was no need to pander to CW.

I really don't get what all the fuss is about.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you all want 'clarification' or something? Are you Rangers fans, or actually Neil Lennon?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it unfair to suggest some Rangers fans are using CG to justify walking away, when in reality it's all about the dross football they are unwilling to pay to watch?

Lets be honest here two more years of this dross and a saint would walk away.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye, Linfield organised a game to help us in our hour of need, but it wasn't organised for 7. 15 on a weekday night like the return at Ibrox.

Agree0 Disagree0

One has to be realistic about long term attendances at Ibrox, it seems certain that Rangers will not have Celtic's buying power nor a comparable squad for many many years. One or two years in the SPL will not close the enormous gulf, the real effect of this will be quality of football and results, both are not going to meet fan expectations.

It seems inevitable that some fans will simply drift away and become armchair supporters, most fans were brought up on a diet of success and being spoon fed failure won't wet their appetite.

Four players from Juventus' Berretti Squad will arrive in Glasgow next week for a two week training session with Rangers with a view to the Scottish side getting them on loan next season.

Defenders Federico Crepaldi & Alessandro Degrassi will join midfielder Stefano Pellini and striker Vincenzo Pira in what is the first sign of life in the Rangers/Juve youth agreement.

The Berretti squad is made up of players aged 19 and under and is seen as the 2nd team to the Primavera squad, which showcases the Italian side's finest youth prodigies aged up to 20

Any Dallas Cowboy youngsters coming over to us as well?

Agree4 Disagree0

And Ally is just the man to trust to play them eh?

Agree3 Disagree0

Please, I implore you to seek medical help straight away before it is too late. Best one I have heard in a long time mate, nice one! After all we have had to endure this week, along comes this beauty to give us all a long overdue giggle.

Agree4 Disagree2

Rangers will this week reveal they've agreed a 2 year youth exchange programme with Juventus.

The plan involves Juventus sending players from their youth squad to Glasgow on loan, with Rangers youngsters being given the chance to train in Turin to aid their development. Juventus will have the option to sign up any players who impress. The agreement was reached during the Italian side's visit to Murray Park last week.

Juventus Youth Sector Chairman Andrea Agnelli talking on the club's TV channel:

"Rangers are the old lady of not just Scottish, but British football. We are honoured to be working with the club in the aim to improve the young players of both clubs who will hopefully become the next generation of gifted European football players. We will do whatever we can to give our players valuable competitive experience, and at the same time they will lead Rangers back to the main leagues and competitions, where they belong.

Agree1 Disagree3

A great quote. Just a pity that none of the many forums carrying it provide a link to said video.

Agree1 Disagree1

And at the same time they will lead Rangers back to the main leagues and competitions, where they belong-----------

I think this mush gives it away.

Agree0 Disagree2

This has got to be the biggest load of rubbish ever. Are the Juve youngsters going to improve playing against Stranraer, Alloa, East Fife, really! Juve are a world class team with world class players and coaches, these players could go on loan to any league in the world and play at a very high standard, just can't see the Scottish 2nd division beiong the place for them, in all reality can you?

Agree4 Disagree1

So like this is the 5 or 6 th tier away from the Juve full team - at least they won't yet have mastered the full simulation training. Fer fecks sake sign some local blood!

Agree1 Disagree0

They would gain vital experience playing in the Scottish lower leagues, it would do them no harm whatsoever. I would happily have half a dozen in and around our first team squad. What is there to lose? Absolutely nothing, they are being judged before they have even arrived!

Agree1 Disagree3

It must be true, East Fife players are learning how to kick in Italian.

Agree2 Disagree0

Is this the final insult to rangers bad enough being billed as a selling club but this deal if true (debatable)see's rangers in the role of feeder club and that's as low as it gets I mean. being used to bring on ONE teams youth players and being plundered for any gems you uncover is not a good thing
thommyj

Agree2 Disagree0

So is that a tie up between teams who cheated for years and were caught? A match made in hell if ever there was one.

Agree2 Disagree0

Never heard so much rubbish in aw ma life, you honestly believe a team like juventus would allow any of their young rising stars to go on loan to a scottish 3rd division load of duds to get kicked, belted and stamped on by a bunch of butchers, bakers and candlestick makers. I don't fkn think so, ffs get yer heed oot yer arse. gary

Agree2 Disagree1

If they want vital experience of getting kicked by a joiner or a plasterer then Scotland's yer man.

Agree1 Disagree0

Am sorry mate but we need more than 4 young boys to sort out what's happening to our team at the minute, personally I'd like to see Stuart mcall as manager next season, I think mcoist and McDowell & durrant have had a good shot at but we are screaming out for fresh ideas

Agree1 Disagree0

What a load of tosh.

Agree0 Disagree1

"The old lady of Scottish football" I've been on Juve website, Juve forums and found nothing. You're just a sad wee man they would get better experience playing in Serie C than your league.

Just heard Walter is looking for a clear the air meeting with Mr Green and is thinking of resigning if he doesn't get honest answers. If he walks then surely Ally's position is questionable if he holds Walter in such high regard and having publicly backed CG just last week?

Another thing that's starting to bother me is of Mr Green is a consortium's representative, what do they think of his recent behaviour and the negative publicity he keeps bringing to the club? if they were in it for the long haul or even to make money then surely he would be removed with someone else brought in to repair the damage to the club and their investment as soon as possible?

This is getting more and more suspicious with every passing day now!

Believable77 Unbelievable23

Walter knows already, just covering his ass while he makes for the hills with his wages (what was he getting paid for?)

Agree5 Disagree0

This nonsense that Walter an Ally need answers needs to be put to bed. These 2 guys have been there and well paid for been there since mintys time in charge. TTTS

Agree1 Disagree0

If we all hold Walter and Ally with high regarss then we should fully back their decisions to walk. CG has been making a fool of us since the day he took over.

Agree4 Disagree0

Mr green is unavailable for meetings this week as he was going to audition to play pinnochio in panto. he had to get 3 feeet cut of his nose to get in the car but by the time he reached the kings it had grown in again.

Agree6 Disagree0

These talks will take the same tone and result as Allys clear the air talks where Walter will come out and say everything is ok give chuckie all your season ticket monies and he will steal it all sorry meran spend it wisely £10 million on the squad £10milllion on ground improvements and another £10 on court cases to prove wee craigy is a liar

Agree1 Disagree1

I'm sorry is this a football rumours site or a commercial review meeting? Was unable to watch all our youngsters play linfield last night and hoped that my fellow rangers fans would be mentioning some of the new talent on show! Does anyone here want to talk football with me or can you recommend anywhere I can speak to others that want to?

Agree0 Disagree0

OP here. I understand people getting fed up with all this legal arguements bt we can't bury our heads and hope this all goes away a second time.

BBC website detailed the following response regarding whytes failed counter action.

“The Judgment does not preclude Ticketus from continuing in the proceedings to pursue Mr Whyte under the personal and corporate guarantees built into the ticket purchase agreement as it seeks to recover funds on behalf of its investors. ”

What does personal and corporate guarantees built into the agreement mean? Is this what CG is hiding?

concernedasfeck. com

Agree0 Disagree0

Considering this is site about a club in distress to put it mildly i'd think all fans are weary of this might end up!

Agree0 Disagree0

N4 did he get the part hope so maybe get rid of him

Agree0 Disagree0

Walter like John Greig before him is taking the cash and looking the other way. No leaders available to stand up for the clubs interest. So many horribly compromised Smith, Greig, McCoist, DJ, Hatley, Goram, Gordon Smith, Durrant etc

Agree0 Disagree1

I don't believe for one minute Walter, Greig etc are there for the cash as last posted. These guys like many others love the club and are not exactly short in cash, so wages are irrelevant. Rangers need to be ran by Rangers businessmen not outsiders who whilst the saving of the club is appreciated, they are in this to make money. I would rather see the blue knights etc, taking over from Green and have an all blue board to take the club forward.

Agree0 Disagree0

There were personal and corporate guarantees built into the agreement, this enables Ticketus to pursue CW for any of his personal or company assets. CW does not own any assets connected to newco, end of story.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is turning into a complete shambles again the way we are getting run, it looks like this green dude now is a crook what else can go wrong for us now we are turning into a pantomime just like hearts, it's embarrassing

Agree0 Disagree0

Did someone mention the blue knights again. This is a bunch of guys, who ewerlme getting the majority of their money form a Hibs fan. Now why would he want to do that, because he saw an opportunity to make a killing on the club, not for love of the club. When it came down to it, the great blue knights didn't have enough money, and that was when the club were going for a song, what do you think aCG will want to walk away, will be more than the 5.5 million he put into the club. People keep saying we need rangers men to run the club, there are NO rangers men out there willing to throw theit r money at a sinking ship, let's be honest the fighting fund hardly raised a whimper and that was supposed to be the "peepel" who were supporting that. In their hour of need Celtic fans raised 30million pounds to help their club, rangers fans have hardly raised a whimper so instead of coming on here moaning why don't you ALL get together and do something about it, fan power is the greatest thing and the world because if they don't have your money they have nothing.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the sticky bit is if a CVA had been accepted, does this mean CW woud have been a secret member of CG's consortium.

The answer I suggest is yes.
