Was reading today that Ryan Kent's loan deal is only till January can anyone confirm if it's true?

11 Dec 2018 22:43:46
Not true.

11 Dec 2018 23:21:59
Cheers bearmode91 it was on rangers news now page I know some of that is clickbate.

13 Dec 2018 17:23:29
I saw that to but I think that’s wrong I’m sure there would have been more talk of this if it was true. I’m pretty sure it’s a years loan would be shocked if it was only until jan.

13 Dec 2018 17:31:18
Daily record also reporting January, I was sure it was a season long deal.

11 Dec 2018 16:21:33
Steven Davis he's coming home 😀.

11 Dec 2018 17:30:13
Why is this seen a good thing?! We should be bringing back Docherty, not going for a 34 year old midfielder who hasn’t kicked a ball all season!

Fantastic servant for us previously, one of the greats of the club, but not the answer!

11 Dec 2018 18:07:45
I think at 34 years of age the impact of Davis can have will be limited. Great player but past his best. On the positive side he could act as mentor and provide leadership to develop the younger players.

11 Dec 2018 18:49:27
Hed still get in our 1st 11 and would improve our midfield?

11 Dec 2018 19:21:56
bottom line wld davis get into and improve our current midfield?

watching ejaria and coulibally lately i’m sorry that’s a no brainier for me so get him in

kenny miller’s now 39 btw - not sure why people so hung up about age.

11 Dec 2018 20:45:03
Can’t believe that people would prefer docherty to Davis - wow - McDonald’s to a nice steak . A seasoned EPL player, international captain and has always been a stand out. Get him ASAP - our manager stated it on Sunday, he needs players he can trust . Young docherty’s time Will come but leave him to get game time - wouldn’t surprise me if Charlie Adam also joins - I know I will be mocked but again he would bring a range of passing, set piece delivery and a player not frightened to mix it . We are currently missing all of this.

11 Dec 2018 21:01:01
Gers. you’ve just posted Wow regarding preferring doc to Davis yet you want Adam and Davis!

11 Dec 2018 21:33:37
Have you watched Davis recently we would get few good seasons hopefully bring on few young lads age is just a number he’s still got legs and football brain.

11 Dec 2018 21:40:15
Bring back Davis and Docherty and let go the two loans. No brainier.

11 Dec 2018 22:32:05
Windy I would agree with that, but I think maybe for now Docherty is better staying where he is and coming back to us a stronger better footballer after possibly playing a full competitive season down there. We could end up doing him a disservice bringing him back early.

12 Dec 2018 07:19:25
i actually agree jordy

i know doc is flying down there just now, but i’m not sure bringing lad back early is right for either him or the club

he shd stay get a full loan season under his belt and come back fit, confident and raring to go in pre season.

12 Dec 2018 13:04:57
Steven DAVIS is worth 18 months. On a bad day he is better than Ejaria and Coulibaly. On a wider note if its true that these loaners are guaranteed a certain number of games what on earth do the club ( gerard) expect. Most of their performances and you can bring Kent and Worrall into this have been rank ( yes they have had the odd good game) . What is this saying to Katic, Mcrorie and others who are our players and are being pushed out because others are GUARANTEED games. Not a good way to conduct business for me.

12 Dec 2018 15:16:57
cant believe people are even questioning the thought of bringing davis back hands down better than any midfielder we have at the minute would definitely add a bit of steel and class get him in asap.

12 Dec 2018 15:40:37
Not sure if Davis is what we are needing somebody who can play a killer ball not saying he's a bad signing but feel we need another type of attacking midfielder.

13 Dec 2018 01:40:07
Anyone who has anything negative to say about Davis coming back simply does not know football. And to keep bringing up his age as if it means something, he's only 34, bear in mind we just got our backsides handed to us by a 39 year old who is still better than our second and third choice strikers.

13 Dec 2018 17:25:11
Bankie, is that not Gerrard's job, being a mentor and inspiration to the players especially your centre mids baring in mind the playing career he had in that position?

11 Dec 2018 00:15:20
We have to remember Stevie G. is an "EXPERIMENT" for him and us, courtesy of Dave King. We unfortunately now have to be patient for a couple of seasons to see if the experiment works out for both parties. Stevie will be hell bent on being a success as his goal is to return to the EPL as Liverpool manager.

We must stop this boo boy attitude 'till we see the end results. It's painful watching us crumble under clubs considered to be lower than us but panic is not what we need at this point.

Unfortunately I can't get to our home games but would be disgusted if the BOO BOYS start up in the event of poor performances.

Having said that it's not only us that have boo boys and disgruntled managers and supporters.

ps: Gave my season ticket to my Bro. in case anyone wanted to ask for it.

11 Dec 2018 06:29:11
Well said bluebilly your 100% correct.

11 Dec 2018 06:35:27
Yip, we most definitely have to get right behind steven gerrard and give him at least 2 seasons to build a very good rangers team! There's Absolutely no point in continuing this trend, of keep changing managers! We need patience and stability! If we stick by gerrard i'm very positive he'll build us a very good rangers team, that will most definitely challenge celtic strongly, on all fronts. Remember Stevie G has had only 1 transfer window, where he had to completely overhaul our full squad by bring in 15 new players! Surely to god, even the most negative rangers supporters, can see that this takes time!

11 Dec 2018 09:05:56
Gerrard will defiantly get time that is a no brainer there has been improvment anyone that thinks getting rid of him is the answer need look at bigger picture and give him time.
I have heard folk mention clark wright to be the rangers manager managing these teams with expection is a lot easier than managing rangers as there is no pressure.
How many of stjohnstone or kilmarnock players would get in our team and could any handle the pressure of playing at rangers i would say not one player from these current squads would be a starter for our team finding players good enough to play for rangers is a lot harder.

11 Dec 2018 09:07:15
You are spot on problem is we have have fans after couple of good results shout about we going to get 55 when we are clearly nowhere near ready to challenge long term for title and we as fans need to realise that also our recruitment has been way over exaggerated on how good it's been Goldson Kent McGregor and Arfield would get pass marks but rest are very ordinary Katic seems to have dissappeared Ejaria not good enough Coulabaly who I do rate is now getting oelters from fans as he has been really poor last 6 to 7 weeks when coming back from injury Worrall very average Sadiq nothing to be said there Flanagan has been really poor Grezda very hit and miss and whoever said he was a 20 million player must have been on drugs Lafferty not did much tbh Barisic has been injured more than he's played so recruitment again leaves a lot to be desired.

11 Dec 2018 20:28:56
End of day we’re still in Europe and only two points behind Celtic. Is anyone out there seriously saying they wouldn’t have jumped at that at this point in season if it had been offered to us back in July?
