I think we had every chance of getting him but after his performances in the Copa America his value has gone through the roof and I can't see it happening now.

This was the guy that was being talked about maybe 4-6 weeks ago in a footnote in the Record and they were talking about the French club cutting their losses with him. I think they mentioned something about him not being able to adapt to the physical side of football in France. IF that is the case then he sure as heck wouldnt enjoy the rough and tumble of the SPL.

i don't think juanma was a panic buy. clearly gers had been looking at him for at least some time. just because not many had heard of him and it didnt come up as a rumour before it happened people are quick to criticise the move. wait and see what he does in the big matches before we say how good/bad the signing has been.

Source: I play for Rangers pro youth and we train in the park across from ibrox and we regularly get to go into the stadium and meat the players and coaching staff and that's whats been the talk of the weekend in the stadium.

So, the talk in the stadium this week is that a renewed bid for Carlos.. and yous regularly meet the players and coaching staff... how is that the chat this week when the squad is in Germany at least if your going to make up a rumour.. try and make your 'source' believable.. at least research it a wee bit...

I ACTUALLY play for Rangers pro youth under 15's and all age groups play and train on murray park. The astro across from ibrox is for Rangers bc to train on as i have 2 friends who play for them. Pro youth players rarely get to meet the first team unless they are old enough to train with them. So dont give me your bull. if your going to post fake rumours go to smeltic's page there's plenty on there

I know there are a lot of made up rumours on this page etc... I've heard from an inside source, only a youth scout at Rangers but he said Arsene Wenger wants big Kyle to stay and had offered Diego Polenta instead, the young 19 year old is from Uruguay and is a similar play to the likes of danny wilson, very good technically and a solid tackler but isn't as effective in the air as Bartley. McCoist has asked if he could join the squad in pre-season to look at him. It is also known that Wenger insisted the loan deal as a 2 year one.

Just been informed by my source that alan hutton will be on his way to ibrox after a 1.5m move to villa is set to collapse.

Kenny miller is also tryin to force a move away from turkey as his family are homesick.

Pedro mendes is set to come back to rangers along with danny wilson, peter lovenkrands and james beattie to sign an extension.

Actually Papac's position before he joined Rangers was a centre back and we do need a Left wing back for champions league football. But �1Million for Wallace isn't going to cut it because Heart's owner is a weird man.
