Hi ed any news on any players moving on? As far as I am aware we can't register any more players over the age of 21 due to sfl rules. The problem I fear is the likes of black and dean shiels won't get offered the same money elsewer and will refuse to move on. Govan bear {The Ed039's Note - Some players will move on,Alexander is out of contract on 30th June, then guys like Boca and Goian will move on, so new players will come in but just not yet)

Believable19 Unbelievable32

Shiels is a good player, black can go

Agree4 Disagree1

I think we will keep them both. Shiels can play anywhere in midfield or in the hole, especially in the second division.

I'm no sure about black, I think ally will let him go if any bid comes in but I doubt many will want him.

Agree2 Disagree1

Why would he leave the Rangers, do I think he's daft! that's 1 great meal tck he has.

Agree1 Disagree1

You will need a crowbar to prise Black out of Ibrox. Black will camp out at Rangers until his contract runs out or we pay him off to leave. He ain't going anywhere as there is no way he will get the same dosh as he has at present from any other club. That says more about what we are offering these mediocre players than anything else!

Agree1 Disagree1

We need some out to help the ever increasing wage bill remember the 5 we signed have put another £1m+ on the wage bill. Same money coming in but more going out

Agree1 Disagree1

Shiels an black are staying

Agree0 Disagree1

Hopefully Black will start to show a bit of footballing skill this time around as I feel he is forgetting about the game and trying to be a hardman. Ed is clear in pointing out that Alexander, Goian and captain America are off so 3 new slots should be fine. let's get up and out of this league. Super Ally

Agree1 Disagree0

It should all be sorted today with the SFA vote. Don't know which is best, stay as is play trialists but players over 21 a problem, or change, players over 21 no problem but no trialists allowed. Catch 22!

Agree0 Disagree0

How come everybody seems to knowwhst wages we are ppaying players think some people are judt pulling figures out they're ars

Agree0 Disagree0

We still have quite a few slots. Including the guys who have already signed for next season we only have about 18 over 21 players

Agree0 Disagree0

Ian Black was on 7k a week last season that probably risen too 9 maybe then I would imagine 15k in SPL I think that's how Ally's convincing players to sign ala Sandaza!

Agree0 Disagree0

Does not matter now as SFL teams have voted in favour of the merger. We can now register as many over 21's as we like but we now can't play our trialists until the embargo ends. As a gesture of good will I believe they embargo should be lifted for the start of the new season. We are all meant to be moving forward are we not?.

Agree0 Disagree2

Black on £7000 no chance heard he was on £3000 to £4000 source ex/teammate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed do you think now that asa have cleared us of any wrong doing by claiming we are scotland's most successful club that people will finally accept we are still rangers always have been and always will be we as quoted in paper still have same fans same stadium same sfa membership number and same uefa co-efficient ranking the ranking is true we are ranked number 92. {The Ed039's Note - No they wont mate)

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed can you clear something up for me if rangers were to say to a club we want one of their players who is under contract but we will take him for free and pay the transfer fee after he played a certain amount of games ie say we signed messi and said to barca give us him for free and after he plays one game for him we will send you a fee is this legal and not against the transfer embargo rules as we will not be paying an initial transfer fee. complicated but I am sure you would know what I mean. {The Ed039's Note - No)

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you not been doing that for years? Getting players and not paying for them? Wow how soon you all forget?

Marius zaliukas & Christophe berra both at Murray park as we speak, this is zaliukas's 2nd time in the last 2 weeks at Murray park, been told both will be Glasgow rangers players before the end of the week

Believable52 Unbelievable72

Rangers can't sign anyone at the moment. I could see Zaliukas coming in time but berra? rubbish

Agree1 Disagree1

2nd visit for Zaliukas and he'll sign by end of week, Ally must be having to do a lot of convincing, obviously not the big pulling power of old!

Agree0 Disagree1

Baws. As Berra is in Zante got the picture to prove it

Agree0 Disagree0

Nonsense

Agree0 Disagree0

N1 or ed how can we npt sign anyone at the moment {Ed001's Note - no idea sorry. I know of nothing to stop Rangers signing pre-contracts.}

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 berra is not in zante he was at a wedding in ireland 2 days ago so think you might be slavering a bit

Agree0 Disagree0

Since when did it take days to travel from Ireland to Zante (possibly via Scotland or England to drop off wedding gear and pack holiday stuff)? You are aware of the wonders of modern methods of transportation, like the aeroplane?

heard from a very good source last night that we are looking to tie up a deal for ex Watford player Craig Forsyth - Scottish player who played with Dundee got big move to Watford and had a good first season at LB/LW but with Zola coming in its not worked out with all the loan players - he was on loan at Derby County but they've decided Johnny Russell was more important deal to push through because they need a goal scorer, there still looking at Forsyth aka Fozzy as he's known but Ally has been tipped off by Bomber Brown who is good friends with Forsyth's father (they played together at Dundee back in the 80's) - Forsyth is from a Rangers family and really wants the deal pushed through - 3k a week deal looking likely with an increase to 5k with promotion next year then 8k a week if we reach SPL. this deal is 50% done and it looks likely we will have Forsyth tied up by August. {The Ed039's Note - Ex-Watford player? He is under contract until next summer and as far asI can se they havent released him)

Believable9 Unbelievable56

Think he was meant to be going to Derby co.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Forsyth is from a Rangers family " like Jon Daly is? What does it mean to be from a "Rangers family"?
