Reports here in Norway linking rangers with a move for Bodø/ glimt midfielder Patrick Berg.
I for one hope this is true as he is a fantastic talent, rated more as a defensive midfielder but has the pace and agility of a box to box midfielder.

Hope this is true, big fan of Bodo and their team last season was very very impressive, both in Europe and in their own domestic league, Berg probably went under the radar as the two wide players ‘ Zinkernagel and Hauge have both moved to bigger clubs, Watford (bigger than Celtic according to him anyway) and Ac Milan respectively but they were the main threats. Berg would be a real engine room player, doesn’t do anything too fancy. Also club captain at 23 is pretty decent.

Think is only quoted at 1.3 million so could be very believable and in our current model of young player buy low and hopefuly improve and sell for profit.

I think it was Henning berg mate, and the boy would be available for no more than 2 million according to reports here. Bodø have produced quality young players which helped them to the Norwegian title.
He would be unbelievable for rangers much like glen Kamara.
The Scandinavian model can work just look at Brentford.

I just read a report they are looking for 13 million but no chance of that 1.3 sounds much better.

13m could be referring to Norwegian Kronur. There is currently in the region of 11 Norwegian Kronur to the £
The stories that I have seen are quoting £1.3m.

Guys the original reports said 1.3m. A later report said 14m (bbc i think) but this is a typo i think.
Report said a Scottish club and at 1.3m it must be one of old firm.
