1984 it’s much easier for the experts on here to say who they think is useless but more difficult to identify a player who has the potential to be really good.

One miss, a poor pass or an error of judgement is sufficient to condemn any of our players.

Of course no one is good enough for us - even messi and Suarez would be condemned by some on here after they failed to beat Liverpool!

I’ve post this same statement before but here goes:

I’ve watched him a few times at Livingston and although I accept he’s not been fully fit he honestly hasn’t been at the races. He doesn’t even look like Livingston’s best striker. Now, as I stated, he’s not been fit and that’s important, perhaps with a good preseason he might offer something but honestly, I wouldn’t been getting my hopes up.

I’d rather work with Hardie with his potential than sign Greg Stewart he’s mince I just can’t see why we’re interested in him! If we sign him I hope I’m proven wrong but I think he’s nowhere near Rangers class.

In my opinion the boy knows where the goal is having seen him play a fair bit both at loan teams and also in the youth set up. I believe he has done enough to at least get a chance with a better quality of player around him supplying better chances to see what he has at rangers' level. Do think if he doesn't show enough he will go in January window.

Coldo how many spl goals have Rudden and Mebude got between them? None I’m not saying hardie is all that but cut the guy some slack he’s got 7 goals in 20 games for Livingston at 22 that’s not that bad better him than Greg Stewart.

In my honest opinion he seems to be better than lafferty. He has age on his side and maybe with right developement he could be good squad player but at the minute is never a starter.

Speaking to an ex director of ours. He is confident we will sign 3-4 players at between 3-5 million.
Remainder made up of Bosman like Hastie, Davies Jones etc
Also he feels Morelos will go for a record fee for Rangers,
He thinks a CH a ten and a striker surprisingly non Scottish, he did say they were his thoughts not any inside info.

Sounds very encouraging Jboy21!I think morelos will definitely be sold in the close season for probably anything between £12million-£16million. I've heard like yourself a no.10,2 strikers if morelos is sold and one of them is on loan, a left back,2 centre halfs again i heard one on loan and of course the permanent signing of ryan kent, if not at worst another 1 year loan with an option to buy. All looking good mate!

Jboy I’m not doubting you spoke with an ex director and he stated the above, however, I very much doubt he’s in the know and sounds more like a fans wish list than fact. I do believe that if Morelos goes then the cash paid up front will go straight into the transfer kitty. most transfers aren’t paid in full so would be a percentage of say 50% in initial window.
