Talking to an spfl director who reckons Motherwell and Hamilton to vote with Rangers tomorrow.
His view to do otherwise is to admit they actually have something to hide.
He says both are reputable businessmen who want their names cleared.

11 May 2020 19:06:31
John25, sound logic for all clubs to follow example and do likewise.

11 May 2020 19:16:06
Bankie it does. He also points out that these board members will vote the way their club decides not them as individuals.
Apparently gray at Hamilton also wants an enquiry
Just difficult to get 75% imo.

11 May 2020 20:33:23
John25, the vote is effectively on the governance and stewardship of the game provided by the SPFL Board. Given the behaviour of senior executives with a fiduciary duty within the SPFL, for the members to now vote against an independent enquiry is to condone the very behaviour that is the source of the complaint.

11 May 2020 21:15:58
Yes I agree with u Bankie.

11 May 2020 23:05:39
What about the stewardship of rangers based on the statement from Brechin tonight. Based on a big claim in the dossier that the Brechin chairman contacted all clubs in the second division that ICT had voted to end the league so no point any of them voting not to end it. The Brechin chairman has statements from all second division clubs to the contrary. a major blow and what seems another incorrect claim by rangers with flawed evidence?

11 May 2020 23:23:05
Can’t see why ANY club wouldn’t welcome an INDEPENDENT enquiry. If Rangers are picking up the tab and they don’t like us and feel SPFL have done nothing wrong and have nothing to hide surely they will enjoy us wasting our money and the SPFL being proved to have been acting legally, fairly and for the good of the game?

If as some expect it provides evidence to the contrary again they should be delighted it’s been highlighted so everyone can move onwards and upwards.

12 May 2020 01:18:48
To have the confidence to silence a whole division confidently. Is a big statement/ ask. For BC chairman to have the confidence to say come looking to prove "That" claim is big. It's 2nd division not N Korea or the Kremlin.
That link, statement, accusation needed backed up instantly if needed and locked down before it was made.
Stuck in a place now where "ah heard that's what you were sayin"
Come on to ****. Pardon the asterisk ridden end to that riddy that I've had to type.

12 May 2020 21:56:12
Big P, I take it Kelty Hearts, Brora and the Lowland League are all telling lies as well about Brechin?

13 May 2020 03:08:10
Well that was a very incorrect rumour what was it a director you know?
My stupid fault for listening I suppose.
Not only did they vote against us Hamilton actually stood up and did a speech as to why not to vote for the proposal.
So Thanks for that load of garbage hope it felt good for a while with your pretend big wig director contact!

11 May 2020 16:19:57
Well that's a surprise. Aberdeen to vote for an investigation into SPFL. Is the tide turning. Taxi for Doncaster and his puppets?

11 May 2020 16:31:04
Ar9 definitely not a surprise, this guy Cormack knows what he’s talking about.

11 May 2020 16:55:02
Very nearly choked on my pistachios when I read it myself. Seems to be gathering both pace and support.
Should make for some interesting times ahead.

11 May 2020 19:31:27
It will only take ONE of the Dundee clubs to vote No.
Along with Dunfermline and Alloa and the rest of the vote doesn’t matter.
You have Lost.

11 May 2020 23:01:03
Buzz, Its not that we will have lost as you put it. Honesty integrity and professionalism will have lost out to the incompetent buffoons at the SPFL.

11 May 2020 23:04:55
Leon, we know and regardless of how the vote goes it won’t change the fact that there should be an inquiry. It’s what happens if there isn’t an inquiry that’ll be more interesting. The genie is well and truly out the bottle and the groundswell of clubs looking for answers will only grow.

I’m a little surprised that Celtic seem happy to accept Doncaster’s explanation for contacting UEFA, not providing all information on potential liabilities (although to be fair that’s maybe the last point he’d want to press if you get my drift) and railroading a resolution without it being signed off and approved by the SPFL Board. Whether you consider the rest to be ‘noise’ or not, the mere fact that three of Scotland’s largest clubs now want an inquiry speaks volumes.

11 May 2020 23:11:33
Buzz, your havering again, if enough clubs vote for the inquiry its cherry bubbles to the lot of them, if the clubs don't vote for it, its fairly obviously they clubs are hiding something, mr park offered to pay for it, so doncaster's feable excuse is out the window, 51p/ c will do it, mate.

11 May 2020 23:18:58
Not long left to play and it's commons beautiful touch to burley who knocks it on to proven who finds Walker who plays it on to the head of Nicholas who makes no mistake Goal. They left it late but Rangers come away victorious, the Rangers fans are going bonkers, all I can see is a big blue bouncy. Man of the Match has to be Dave Provan.

11 May 2020 23:23:36
Off u go buzz, yer maw shouting on you, your fav programme is on Dora the explorer as yer always exploring things about the famous Rangers so Swipe on back to the unwashed sight. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

12 May 2020 03:04:32
Buzz every celtic fan I know has complained about the spl board being corrupt for as many years as I remember and wanted change. Now u dont, weird that, almost like it suits you to let it slide this time.

12 May 2020 10:20:08
Buzz is a fud. He thinks this is Rangers crying about nothing. A fair board is going to help all teams as well as the national team. Of course its all about the RANGERS lol. A more even league helps both Glasgow teams. When other teams are strong it's better for fans.

12 May 2020 10:22:28
Buzz you are a balloon 🎈 this is for the good of Scottish football the only reason not to support the inquiry is if you think your club has something to hide. So do you think you’re manky mob have something to hide?

12 May 2020 21:51:36
Herewego 👍.

10 May 2020 23:59:04
Just read Doncaster's account of the threat allegedly made by Douglas Park and his reference to pages 13 and 14 of the dossier. I can't believe this guy actually tried to turn the timeline of events to argue that he was threatened- even more so with his reference to McKenzie's email and his reference to not proceeding further.

If we are to believe Doncaster was threatened then the tone of that email would've been entirely different. It's bad enough this clown seems to deflect from the main failings and misgivings, but the fact he's trying to garner the sympathy vote is beneath contempt.

11 May 2020 08:45:30
The evidence that’s came out from the start of this total shambles surely is enough to get an independent enquiry and the clubs that don’t vote for this must explain why they don’t want it because it’s there for all to see who is behind this their arrogance is going to be their downfall an independent investigation will finish them and they are trying everything in the book To stop It but are just embarrassing themselves and regarding the league you can’t give out a title to a team who have played one more game than you is that not cheating?

11 May 2020 16:14:57
isn't doncaster an employee? using the companies own lawyer to establish harassment? as business isn't this cause for firing two employees?

11 May 2020 16:15:25
He's even trying to justify the email to uefa stating that ending the season was the clubs's view before the vote was carried out. So they had made the decision before the vote so why bother?

And surely if you wanted to ask people their opinion on the matter you would make sure ypu asked representatives of the biggest amd most successful club? Wouldn't you?

11 May 2020 23:12:40
Seeker, when doncaster told eufa that the scottish clubs wanted to stop early, what he meant to say was scottish teams will say nowt, they just do as there told, mate.
