Craig Whyte axes Dave King from board.

Believable38 Unbelievable4

Dave King put 20 million of his money into Rangers, most others took money out,I dont know if he's still a player in this game or not but I hope he is

Agree0 Disagree0

Things cant get much worse or can they?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes things can get worse, we could keep McCoist next season as well.

Is it true rangers are making a deal with adidas?

Rangers got Cousin back for replacing Jelavic

Ed do you know what has happened with luigi bruins? {Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware he is still looking for a team, so obviously nothing.}

Believable4 Unbelievable6

No idea, but the Boston Bruins are going well in NHL, hope that helps. Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye, the Boston Bruins are doing pretty good this year... funny though, the Rangers are doing better!

does anybody know how much input into ibrox close finance have?rumour is whyte has sold off a chunk of the catering rights to them for finance.more worrying is the fact that various players are seen at their offices in EK.whyte seems to be juggling finances around to keep rangers trading on a weekly basis.

Believable30 Unbelievable10

The catering was sold under Murray along with the rangers store to j.j.b......man urn way behind?

Agree0 Disagree0

The airport bear ... As I said on her countless times we're surviving week by week so buckle up as it's just starting to get bumpy ...

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard a rumour last week that he had sold the catering for next two years. Obviously looking to raise as much cash as possible before tax case is announced.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is it worrying that players have been seen at their offices.

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy who does the catering also has Motherwell , Hibs ,Celtic , Spurs , West Ham ,Lyon and a whole load more . He franchised the next 10 yrs off Mr Whyte for 3 yrs money back in August . At the time he couldnt believe his luck but now is fearing he may not see this year out , thus not being the deal he had hoped .
CelticMatt

Agree0 Disagree0

The players rumour is worrying because are they paying them?

Agree0 Disagree0

The catering was sold off a few months ago and I have seen the MG05 submitted to Companies House.

Are you seriously just finding this out now??

LMFAO!!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's the same old s**t regurgitated over and over, timmy needs his fix of rangers, dontcha know

Agree0 Disagree0

dont how much of the catering he can sell, azure have a 9 year contract

Agree0 Disagree0

Elior are the company I was talking about . The guy who owns them takes a match day hospitality package at Parkhead as part of his deal there . His boys are Celtic mad but he is a Spurs man from Oxford .

Agree0 Disagree0

The catering was sold to Caroline black who owned Azure. Azure also had/ has Chelsea, Motherwell, Murrayfield and some race courses to name but a few. Any money made in catering goes to them and has nothing to do with rangers. I know this as I used to be a manager with them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers dont own their catering rights, Murray sold us up the river years ago with rthat and its one of his compainies that own the catering rights. same as loads of other things at rangers. Funnily these would all revert back to being owned by Rangers after administration. I dont think whytes as daft as people think.

In the next few days rangers will announce a new kit deal with adidas. It will last 3 years with an option of extending it by a year or 2 years

Believable22 Unbelievable19

I thought rangers was i financial trouble due to the tax case in case of liquidation i thought they couldnt do any deals maybe im wrong though

Agree0 Disagree0

No they won't, stop telling fibs!

Agree0 Disagree0

Where did you hear that

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye right!

Agree0 Disagree0

The airport bear ... Totally true we're in our final season with our current supplier umbro ends 2012 !!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would a huge name like Adidas want to get involved with rangers the now with the state the clubs in

Agree0 Disagree0

My source is my cousin is one of umbro chief executive and he says adidas were willing to pay more money

Agree0 Disagree0

We are in the final year of agreement with Umbro, altho there is no clear indication that Adidas will take over.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lmao, pmsl,do you honestly think a company would pump money into a club thats about to go bust!!adidas wont touch this deal with a barge pole..wake up m8,pull yer head out yer u no what, never gnna happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely to have a 3 year kit deal there will need to be a football team around for 3 years, way things are going you´ll be lucky to be around in 3 weeks

Agree0 Disagree0

Thing is adidas know they could get it at a knock down price because rangers are desperate for cash so they probably think it's worth the gamble.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure it would be very easy to put some sort of a clause into a deal In case of administration etc

Andy

Ps Im sure we will be around a lot longer than three years never mind three weeks!!

Agree0 Disagree0

The brand opposite the rangers crest on the shirts from season 2012/13 will be (drum roll)...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... jjb.

Any more talk of players coming in on free or in summer. We are still lacking quality in midfield. All this Edu is under-rated chat is nonsense.

Feinduono's name has been mentioned. The guy Stilic at Lech Poznan is available on a free in June 2012.

Anyone heard anything?

Believable6 Unbelievable35

Go for Feinduno as far as stilic and rudnevs they would be great signings for rangers but we would have to work on that if Ally still wants them but i dont think he has been tracking rudnevs though but he should he would be a fantastic player to have in the squad

Agree0 Disagree0

Edu has been playing well this season (if you've been watching). Davis has'nt been at his best for the majority, but he's coming good again and we have like Bedoya, Mackay and Celik who could all potentially do well

Agree0 Disagree0

Feinduono knocked back celtic and they offered decent money he then went to the middle east think hes going to sign for us on pocket money..... this happens you will see me in mass.

BALLYBOY

Agree0 Disagree0

He went to Monaco not the middle east. What he was requesting 15 months ago and previous to that is irrelevant, he has no club and therefore no wage. I think if we if we offered a contract he would at the very least consider it.

Is this Craig Whyte's plan:

1. Whyte buys Rangers for £1.

2. He does a deal with Ticketus to sell 4 years season books in advance bringing in £24.4m gross (£20.33m Net + 4.07mVAT). It is an advance sale and not a loan. Here is a Financial Advisor Company that explains the Ticketus investment model: http://www.principlefirst.co.uk/investments/octopus-vcts/

3. Whyte uses the Ticketus money to pay of the Lloyds debt of £18m.

4. Whyte takes a 1st Ranking Security over Rangers assets to the sum of £18m. Whyte has confirmed he has done this and it is in documented records that in the event of an insolvency event Whyte can claim payment of £18m from Rangers assets. Note that a 1st Ranking Security entitles Whyte to payment before any other creditor including HMRC. Check this with a solicitor or accountant if you doubt what a 1st Ranking Security is.

5. Whyte engineers Rangers going into liquidation.

6. Whyte demands £18m payment from Rangers assets.

The assets from which this would come could only be the sale of intangible assets (the players) or by transfering ownership of Ibrox to him.

7. Whyte chooses to take ownership of Ibrox.

8. HMRC are paid from sale of players and the sale of the Albion (although ownership of the Albion may be held by Whyte in a seperate company).

8. New owners come in and form a new football club.

9. The new owners take on any existing playing staff that have not been sold and lease Ibrox from Whyte.

10. Whyte has an asset in Ibrox that has only cost him £1 from which he will get several milion each season from leasing to the new footbal club.

11. Whyte can also carry out new business ventures, and because he has no borrowings on Ibrox, can use this to borrow against for other business deals.

12. The new football club are happy as all debt is wiped out and they are able to lease the existing staduim.

Importantly, because it was an advance sale of season tickets from Rangers to Ticketus, and not a loan, Ticketus are not a creditor and as such are not entitled to any payment if Rangers go into liquidation. They would be if Rangers went into administration, rather than liquidation, and that is why I believe Whyte will choose liquidation over administration.

This means that the new football club do not have to make any payments to Ticketus from future season ticket sales and all revenues from season tickets in the first and future seasons remains with the new club.

Believable45 Unbelievable48

Good post.couple of questions though.1/the lloyds debt had to be paid before the final contracts were signed(i do understand that a loan could be in place to cover lloyds but that means interest charges to whyte).2/ownership of ibrox would be pretty meaningless as its not prime real estate and the frontage is listed.the albion is still owned by MIH and while there is games being played at ibrox is a cash cow.liquidation means the players contracts are cancelled so no sell on value.3/what did whyte use as security for the ticketus loan? probably ibrox? other than that he seems to be alienating all possible groups who would form a new club. this looks like being played to the end, beware the name bristol collyer, they might be the key.

Agree0 Disagree0

If this was Whyte's plan he would have to use a big chunck of his profit to hire the sas to look after him. Starting a new club is unthinkable, and would not only confirm that he is not a Rangers fan, but even worse. My own thinking is that he is keeping the 24 million and the 18 million incase we lose the tax case. If CW can get the club debt free, and sort out this tax situation he can then sell the club on and make a profit that way, without killing the club off. But like I said if he ends our clubs history he should seek a cave in Afghanistan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Very sensible post!
Rangers have to change name and dont own our stadium but are debt free with future season ticket money available in a new positive era for club.
Whyte gets Ibrox revenue for a £1 and jobs a good un!

Agree0 Disagree0

You keep forgetting that a person can't be the preferred creditor if that same person is the one who leads a company into administration.

also, HMRC could be the ones who are appointed as administrators due to the amount of debt owed. it's been done before, and with the amount owed, don't be surprised if this happens again

you also fail to mention the fact that the ticketus deal was done before whyte took control of rangers, which could only happen with murrays consent. we're now talking major fraud as well as tax evasion.

craig whyte will not be allowed to pursue his plan as he's been found out on numerous occassions and is being looked at closer than ever

taco

Agree0 Disagree0

What happens if the new owner decide not to use Ibrox? Also Ibrox is worth more that £18 million - hence shared ownership with HMRC.

Whyte/HMRC is then stuck with a listed building, that is only fit for certain purposes.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Rangers change name they are no longer Rangers. The trophies and history are gone and its start from zero.

Agree0 Disagree0

Makes a lot of sense I think what he is trying is create a Pheonix club as leeds did a few years back.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am sure ticketus would not have given white 24 million without guarentees. This 24 million is mounting interest at serious rates according to Alistair Johnson it should be used as a short term borrowing facility when cash flow is low not to fund the running of the club. There is now 6 million per season to pay before players wages, running costs, and player transfers bleak times are ahead. Looks like jelly and ice cream is being served across the city!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers history and trophies will be there no matter what happens.

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem for whyte would really be point 7. The administrator would have to sell to whoever offers the most. It is his duty to get the most for the creditors. If someone bid more then whyte is in the s**t. Would love to see that happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant see ibrox being worth more than 18m. any development would need to keep the frontage in place(reducing cost to buy) and the land is not prime real estate.as a break up and selling all the stands i dont know, but it is a buyers market for everything these days

Agree0 Disagree0

I do not believe that other multi-millionaire Rangers fans around the world would sit back and watch Rangers plunge into liquidation. So whatever Whyte appears to be up to, watch this space...

Agree0 Disagree0

Interesting theory! I firmly believe that Craig whyte has some sort of master plan for rangers wether its good or bad for us. Who knows if this is it or not! Somthing about CW's take over just doesn't add up

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok lets assume this or something very similar is his plan.
Then Rangers FC are gone forever. You can support any team you like but not Rangers FC. Is this acceptable to clear the debt?

Agree0 Disagree0

Where were all these world wide multi millionaire rangers fans for years? stop kidding yourself on,rangers are toxic and need admin or worse to clean it up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Classic....hed need more than the sas protecting him....hope IF thats his plan hes good at hiding seek coz he will be hunted for the rest of his days.... PaulRFC

Agree0 Disagree0

CW runs Rangers into liquidation he will need 24 hr around the clock protection. I don't believe this or administration will happen. I still believe not is all being told

Agree0 Disagree0

As I said yesterday tims bad news for you cw is the man with a master plan watch learn and be happy to be a bear

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the post is well laid out but does lack some belief, as some other posters have picked up on. Main point for me is CW would not be able to survive, no threat intended for legal eagles, but seriously could he ever show his face in Glasgow again ? and the costs involved in this day and age with the heritage of the stadium frontage would limit its uses.

Agree0 Disagree0

The OP only regurgitates the same old story gleaned from media outlets with an agenda. KEEP THE FAITH bears. Wait until the tax issue has been resolved, nobody know the result, then you can judge CW. He must have known what he was taking on, so why put himself in the goldfish bowl that is Rangers if he wasn't there for the good of the club. Virgin don't do flights to the moon yet, although I think they're taking bookings, and I don't think CW's name is on the list. ger1952

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen, i posted this before, they could be called Glasgow Rangers because our official name is The Rangers Football Club so there will and should still be a rangers lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whytes life wouldn't be worth living if he had used season ticket money to buy the club and then put the club in liquidation!
He has also said he would write off the £18m bank debt if we won the tax case so he clearly using that debt for some reason if we lose.

Whyte is surely not daft or stupid enough to think he could put rangers out of business while he walks away with millions and still expect to have an easy life. He is a business man who has made millions so I don't believe he is that thick! No millionaire is!

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte is aiming towards at best administration at worset liquidation this has been his master plan from day 1. He will take rangers to the brink of extiction and get all debt cleared for a fraction of what it should cost. Legal but shady as. Then sell them on as a debt free club pocketing millions for himself. He is not interested in Rangers as a football club he is interested in them to line his own pockets.

Ian

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember when two unheard of companies bought the rights to the name of something like "rangers football club" possibly been bought by white therefore he has already secured the name for the new club

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets just face it he`s a dodgy horrible little c*nt he has no money has told loads of lies, he`s put the club at huge risk, i blame murray for this we are owned by a fraud looking to try and make money from a club he`s suppose to love and support, no doubt he`s trying to swindle money from somebody to line his own empyty pockets-he`s scum in my eyes- we look cheap and tacky in everything weve done under him, he`s taken apart an already weak team claiming a black hole-if he had invested say 10m at the start we would probs have made group stages in cl and recouped most of the investment and any "black hole" we had been reducing debt the last few years but now were up to our necks in sh*t- get this guy out he`s everything the famous rangers arent- he`s a cheat, lier, fraud
we would of been better under lloyds!
stg

Agree0 Disagree0

A bit melodramatic al this i think, none of you what is going on and what whyte is planning all this nonsense of forming a 'new club' is just ridiculous, you forget HMRC are not going to take 49 million off us as they know they will not get that out of Rangers if we go into administration, its in their best interest not to if they want any sort of money from us, we might win the tax case and be debt free, then we'll be in a better position than celtic, you seen there accounts published? not exactly healthy reading either, 180k profit, debt at 9 million. We just need to wait and see our accounts and wait for the tax case to be finalised before anyone can move forward, coming on here and making stupid judgements without any knowledge of what is actually happening is just pointless and doesnt help anyone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whole siyuation stinks. the history will be wiped out and as for the contents of the trophy room, they will probably be auctioned off at some point in a public auction to raise money for the creditors. As for not paying Ticketus, dont be naive, they will have a steel grip on all assets, along with guarentees in the eventuallity Rangers go into Liquidation, they will get their money back be sure of that

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds very plausable to me what you have to remember whyte is a businessman did the money from ticketus go into rangers or through one of his other companies if it did he claimes that money back and this whole thing has only cost him a quid

Agree0 Disagree0

Pretty sure white needs £18m+25 percent=£22.5m,then £1.5m to pay for admin costs = £24m ticketus only no one can find it ,needle in a hay stack of legal crap.

Anyone else heard a rumour about Pascal Feindouno? Out on contract after leaving Sion cos they were docked 36 points and could possibly get him on a short term deal. Wouldn't be after that much in wages and would be quality in the SPL. He already knows how easy it is to score against Celtic too.

Believable9 Unbelievable16

He was on trial at Celtic and they couldnt afford his wage demands, maybe he'll accept a wage cut to play for ally as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes Pascal Feinduno is a free agent and rangers should snap him up there are a good few african players without clubs just now defenders, midfielders, strikers Ally should have a look at some of them if hes tracking players that can be brought in outside the transfer window

Agree0 Disagree0

Guinea & DR Congo have a few players free agents midfielders and defenders Ally should take a look at them try and get a defender in as cover just in case .Ally should also have a look at pascal feinduno get him and see what others he can try bring in to bolster the squad

Agree0 Disagree0

Get him snapped up hes no stranger to scoring against celtic thats for sure im sure if Ally goes for him he will do great for Rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

He wanted more than £35,000 per week at Celtic that's why no deal happened.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wont happen if he wanted to much money at celtic why wood he take a wage drop to play for rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

If he knows how to score against Celtic get him as a personal coach for Healy!

kev88

Agree0 Disagree0

If he wanted 35,000 grand a week then how come sion ended up with him?! Think about it guys!

Agree0 Disagree0

Or maybe he could coach stokes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Because Sion paid it. Rangers cannot afford any decent players, accept it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yous wont get Feindouno with a £5000 a week offer , he wouldn't accept £10000 a week from Celtic , so dream on lads .

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe not but £5000 a week is more than he is getting paid right now

Am I right in thinking that Rangers applied for planning permision for the area around Ibrox ?. Because this would be a very unusal thing to do, if the BBC, Daily record, and the fans of the runners up are to be believed..Nivbear.

Believable3 Unbelievable10

Rangers dont own that much land around ibrox.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think I read somewhere mate that the council (who own it) said they have had no contact with rangers over the land surrounding it , as I say I THINK that's what I read in the evening times

Agree0 Disagree0

This was around a while ago when murray was chairman, there was talk of deveolpment, casino etc?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers did intend buying more of the land surrounding Ibrox when SDM was talking about expansion plans (casino, hotel etc.)
This was a while ago though so don't know why it's resurfaced.
I believe the majority of the land surrounding Ibrox is owned jointly by Glasgow city council and the GHA.
So yes, rangers did apply for planning permission a few years ago. Nothing really unusual in that.

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true, then it can only be a good thing! They cant touch a listed building, which the main stand is so it would mean some sort of hotel/casino....

Agree0 Disagree0

As I understand rangers own around 90% of the land around ibrox ... Hope his helps ... The airport bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers may very well own up to 90% maybe even 100% of the land "around" Ibrox, but how far are we talking here ? Rangers own virtually nothing any further than 50 metres away, the albion is leased, the wee rangers club is privately owned, all that we own is the walking area outside the stadium,,,,painful but true.

Rangers are in talks with Christian Nerlinger at Bayern Munich to give us their fringe players to gain experience hope my source in Bavaria is correct

Believable7 Unbelievable51

Hope ur right

Agree0 Disagree0

Would it not be for next season as transfer window is closed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Come on bears, think before we go spouting garbage.

We cant loan players out till the summer now. Although Munich relationship would be a decent one, we cant just sit and think of former players who are involved in clubs and simply make up a rumour.

In my opinion, our boys at 17/18 should just be as good as anyone elses.

I would play these boys before forking wages on someone elses,

two words for rankers fans to look out for:bristow collyer. better get that jumbo loo paper in.

Believable17 Unbelievable19

Mr Gary Withey former club secretary is the head partner at Bristow Collyer , investifgate for a serious insurance scam of over 50m.....AS The office block of wavetower now rangers holdings ltd....

Agree0 Disagree0

The court case with them has nothing to do with rangers!

Do you think diddly desmond that owns celtic or anybody or any company that he has done business with is squeaky clean? NO.

Look into his history and youll see just how dodgy he is!! Why is his name not being dragged through the mud?

Agree0 Disagree0

MR desmond is not "being dragged thru the mud" because he dznt pay taxes in britain...........oh wait you dont either

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree with the dermot desmond statement.just googled him and the stories of backhanders ,courtcases and fights with the tax man over supposed "loans" to friends are certainly worthy of some news.dont see why sceptic supporters can comment about whyte when one of their major investors and directors has been involved and investigated for a form of fraud and tax evasion.

Agree0 Disagree0

He might not pay taxes in Britain but he also dodges paying taxes in Ireland! That wasn't my point anyway. My point was Desmond is everybit as shady as Whyte but we dont hear the BBC or Daily rebel reporting about him?
It's always the same with Celtic fans, more interested in trying to put rangers down while trying claim Celtic are angels who do no wrong! Away and worry about your own team because one day the s**t will hit the fan for you!!

Agree0 Disagree0

The ***t nearly did hit the fan years ago for Celtic. You have a short memory! Go worry about your own team! Still Champions and still in the running!
