My mate who's always telling me stuff from Twitter just text me saying Wright signing for the Rangers this month and Stewart going the other way . Helps for our home grown player rule or something .

Stewart never good enough seen him playing against Lincoln Red Imps and blowing out his arse after 5mins

Not overly excited about the lad from the sheep either .

Not going to argue with Gerrard but.

My mates a sheep fan and says wright is injury prone but when fit he is the best footballer at Aberdeen, he doesn't rate hedges as someone has said here he a bit like barker rapid but runs out of ideas and ferguson by his own admission is nowhere near the player Ryan jack was when we signed him from them.

Correct bluebear. Jack was always a good player and has improved even more since joining us. Ferguson couldn't lace his bpots.

In fairness to Ferguson he's a different type of midfielder to Jack.
I've no idea if rangers are interested in Ferguson but if they are it won't be because of who his uncle is.

More than £2m for him. But I agree we could probably spend the money better. I think he’ll go on to have a decent career down south prob championship level. A lot of people are forgetting kenny McLean as his contracts up in the summer and he’s left footed which will give us a balance. I could see him at ibrox come the summer.

Kenny McLean signed new contract at Norwich last year. He wants to come to Ibrox but we would need to pay and at his age no prospect of sell on.

I gerrard he signed a new deal so Norwich could get more money for him if he left.
They allegedly turned down 10 million in august from West Ham, so not coming to us.

We passed on him when his deal expired at Aberdeen 3 years back (Murty) and Norwich offered him long term deal and massive wage increase to extend last summer.

I gerrard this seems to be a new thing. Zungu also extended his deal in France. Hence why if we want him it costs 2.7 million instead off less than 1 million.

Hip John I think zungu was told if he didn’t sign new deal they wouldn’t sanction his loan deal. So he had to choose what he wanted to do play or not play stay or go. I’m still not convinced by him but he hasn’t had much game time.

From what I’ve seen mate, me neither. I’d rather give kamara that £2.7 over 4 years on top of what he’s due ie £20k a week. Prob still not enough to keep him.

I think a good few of us thought that it was aberdeen midfielder lewis ferguson that we were definitely interested in signing, which probably isn't the case 🤔Its aberdeen winger scott wright we're very interested in signing and both clubs reckon a deal could even be thrashed out, this month 🤔 Aberdeen owe us 350k for ross mccrorie in the summer and looks like that could play a part in the deal or a player swap has been mooted. Hearing the possible player swap could be greg stewart going back to aberdeen and scott wright coming to rangers, this month 🤔.

Haven't seen enough of Wright to form an opinion.
Hedges is rapid with not much of an end product ( a sheep version of Barker ) .
And I've never been impressed or seen what all the fuss is about Ferguson who is basically a hatchet man anytime he faces Rangers.

Wright is a talented lad but a bit injury prone, again if Gerrard wants him, I'll trust the managers judgement.

Haven't really seen Wright play but Aberdeen are very impressed with him. of there's 1 position on the pitch we lack is right wing. would also benifet the homegrown European sqaud places.

Aberdeen are getting a great buy in regards mccorie for a snip. I'd take wright or hedges for back up but don't think there is much between them and the likes of Stewart Barker Murphy etc. Sometimes some fresh blood just helps to change things up abit.

We will sign Wright on a Bosman then if we want him earlier we will need to pay a nominal fee as in £100k tops.
If Stewart leaves to go there it’s because he’s out of contract at end of season and I’d imagine Rangers would be happy with a mutual termination of his contract so we save the wages Sheep get him now.
McCrorie deal is done it’s loan till end of the season then £350k with 20% sell on clause.
What I’m basically saying is none of the 3 deals have anything to do with the other, McCrorie like so said signed and sealed, Wright doesn’t want to continue with sheep and Rangers don’t want Stewart that’s the only 3 facts at this point.

Roofs will be 1st pick on the right backed up by hagi. Kent on left backed up by Wright apparently 😭lol Alfie itten Defoe (nisbet would take his place) and it’s all went quiet regarding Alegria. 4 strikers is what’s required and if they all get a chance and mins then should be happy. I think more and more Defoe will leave in the summer unless he takes a coaching role.
