Rangers will sign Kyle Hutton on a long term deal until 2017 I cannot confirm my source

Believable24 Unbelievable82

Bad move, the guy is pants

Agree1 Disagree2

I agree he is slower than a week in the jail

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree hutton is rank!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hutton is the future, looks a very tidy player as a centre midfielder pace is not a problem, look at Pirlo (not that Kyle will ever be at that level but pace is not that important in the middle) With proper coaching (and tactics) I think he will be a very good player for us in future {The Ed039's Note - I dont think he is a bad player at all, infact as you say he can be quite tidy, but please, for the love of god, dont ever mentioned Kyle Hutton and Andrea Pirlo in the same sentence)

Agree2 Disagree1

Me thinks Pirlo's age may have something to do with his pace, just a thought!lolol

Agree0 Disagree1

Ian Black has a bit of the Iniesta about him!

Foxy

Agree1 Disagree4

Only if Iniesta's boaby was hanging out Black's rear end!

Agree3 Disagree0

You cannot reveal your source haha it's harry an exclusive what a joke

Agree2 Disagree0

I hope this is just speculation as he is rank rotten. wouldn't get a game for any SPL team and prob found his level in the 3rd division along with Ross Perry

Agree2 Disagree2

I remember john lambie telling a player he was pele after he was concussed lol

Agree1 Disagree0

Harsh Marko,
I think with the proper coaching he can be something to be proud of. As for Perry, I genuinely think he has the potential to be a decent player too. Give the boy a break. He's had his first chance at first team football at a massive club. Normally he'd have a 'Davie Weir' with experience talking him through games as he broke into first team football. In his case he's got a Brazilian netball player that cannae speak English and a hopeless greek fellie. It's no wonder the boy looks nervous on the park.

Baybear

Agree0 Disagree2

Totally agree with Baybear, last season when Perry played beside carlos or Goian or even Bart's he looked like he had potential, now he is the boy we are looking at to hold the defence together. Give him time. I love how us Rangers fans are always harping on about "giving youth a chance" when we finally have to we are ripping Perry and Hutton and Heggarty to shreads. Can't have it both ways. If we want youth we need to give them time.

Ross Perry is 23 and Hutton is 22. They're not wee boys anymore. I don't recall anyone criticising Danny Wilson when he broke into the first team or Rhys McCabe. This is because they looked the part. they made mistakes but they showed potential. Perry Hutton and Hegarty are palying against Plumbers, posties and joiners and they are struggling big time. Wilson and McCabe were playing against SPL players.
ps I agree about the brazilian and I've said on here before that whoever identified/signed that Greek **** deserves their jotters. He has not got one attribute worth mentioning

Agree1 Disagree1

Suppose we'll just have to wait and see Marko. I still think we have to give them a fair crack at the whip before we judge them as a lost cause. I'm more concerned about the apparent SPL players who cannae seem to cut it against plumbers and sparks. Black, Kyle Sandaza etc should be shamed of themselves.

Agree1 Disagree1

Marko you wouldn't know a player from your backside

Agree0 Disagree1

I would sign a few seasoned players from the sfl I think this would help us move forward

Agree1 Disagree0

Ok he's not the best player we have had ffs he's a rangers player give the lad some encouragement at least

Agree0 Disagree1

Hutton's a good player. I still remember one of his first starts against Manchester United he was stand out and never looked out of place

Agree2 Disagree1

I really hope that this rumour is wrong. That particular individual struggles even in division 3 and has totally the wrong attitude for a professional football player.

He should go at the end of teh season along with McCoist and MacDowall!

Agree0 Disagree0

I have never read so much garbage. Head in the sand from anyone who thinks Hutton, heggarty or perry are players. Marko is talking compete sense. These guys are not young boys. They will never make it and if that's the best rangers can produce, the whole management team should walk. They have been at the club for long time and therefore share some of the responsibility for the lack of quality youth players. Time to go ally. Time for a young manger with fresh ideas. Not Butcher or McCall please.

Agree0 Disagree1

People on here on kyle huttons back get a grip he's a young boy! what 22 is still young ish, you have that p*ick ian black on what 5-7 grand a week and he hasn't put in a decent performance all season! same with dean shields what has he done? its these 'experienced' players that should be getting slated not young boys in there first or second real run in the team

Give Ally a break? We have just experienced a result of Berwick proportions. He has put us out of cups to inferior opposition, QoS, Falkirk, Inverness. Humiliated two seasons in a row by Dundee Utd. in the Scottish Cup. Beaten in Europe by Malmo and Maribor, two poor teams. Good on them for getting the results, but this is Glasgow Rangers FFS. He signed these players, so he must have had a vision of how they were going to play.
Answers on a post card if you saw anything in Ortiz, Bedoya, Celik, McKay etc. etc. Now we have Black, Sandaza, Faure, The Greek etc. All failures, no footballing system of play and poor results. Common denominator? Ally and his staff.
We can't afford another season of this. We need a proper coach and training. We get out passed by part-time teams week in week out. I admire how he acted during the administration period, but I would argue that any Rangers man in that position would act in a similar manner.
Always a Legend never a manager.

Believable188 Unbelievable31

I couldn't agree more m8, gr8 post, and so true, go soon ally please before we forget the good times, Tommyblue

Agree2 Disagree1

Can see your point mate
but look at it this way in
his first season he had an
A list of signings Goodwillie
etc white didn't go the extra
mile to get them (unfortunately
we now no reason why) so had to
Move to b list celik etc. This season
he has had to throw a team together
of free agents and youth so I would
him two more transfer windows
were (hopefully) he will be backed
with hard cash to see how he does

Agree0 Disagree3

Now you really are a glutton for punishment Two more seasons?

Agree3 Disagree1

McCoist isn't helped by his Assistants. Since MacDowall arrived on teh scene our tactics and general play has been dire and the coaching methods he deploys are strange to say the least.

If Ally has that ruthless streak he will send him packing and bring in someone that has the credentials to coach some decent players and bring some quality back to our play.

With all that's going on at the club what is Walter doing why dose he seem to be colecting a wage and doing nothing constructive Surely he has something to say about this shambles someone has to say something

Agree0 Disagree1

Never mind what Walter is doing? I am at a loss as to what anyone is doing?

Manager. my arse!

Agree1 Disagree1

The football we played under walter was dire too. Remember who ally learned his trade from so keep walter well away from the playing side thank you very much!

Agree2 Disagree1

Think the Ross County manager would be a great replacement if he could be convinced.

Coisty needs a FAIR crack at the whip! Tell me one manager that has had to deal with what he has in his 1st stint as Manager? His 1st season we had all the negativity hanging over us. 2nd season he has had to throw a team together and had his hands tied with the unlawful embargo. He should at the very least, be given until the end of next season before judgement is passed. Many managers start at lesser clubs where his mistakes are forgiven but because it Gers' the expection levels are ridiculous. Yes we are playing part timers. You just imagine yourself going to Ibrox (as one of those guys) knowing you'll be playing in front of a sizable crowd, and tv cameras. You'd play your bluddy heart out!
I say Ally IN glory hunters OUT! rtid

I'd clear out the place top to bottom (ally, durrant, mcdowell, sinclair, wilson, murray and a few others).

We must be the only team in the 3rd division with full-time fitness coaches and goalkeeping coaches and our players look like they are running out of steam and not the part-time players they are up against.

First team, reserves, youths need to find a new fresh way of playing football (go down the Swansea route, if you like). Now's the time to change the whole stucture of the club whilst we go through the divisions. Think long-term, no more short-term/stop gap signings (they seldom work).

Any player we've either signed or produced goes back-ward when our coaches get a hold of them.

You see even when we want to make a sub it takes about 5 minutes with a clipboard to say go on and score a goal/mark a man.

Do we have anyone at the club who can take a free-kick or corner?

Agree4 Disagree1

Dont forget kyle, stella and cribari.
matty boy

Agree0 Disagree1

We have only scored from 1 set peice this year it is awful

Agree2 Disagree1

Spot on, derek johnstone says ally should get another couple of seasons, sorry can't watch this every week, remrmber mr green season ticket renewals are due out.

Agree1 Disagree1

Original post spot on. Would accept some mitigating factors with signing selections but no where to hide on the lack of tactics or a basic game plan. Even if the players are poorer than we are used to they should naturally outclass the oposition calibre at this level and on the odd bad day we should be able to rely on the manager making a few tactical adjustments and sorting it out. Unfortunately, legend that he is, on the pitch it is the manager and coaching staff that are letting us down.

Agree3 Disagree1

As much as I loath the way we are playing, Ally has done the best as he could with the squad at his disposal and no other manager would be abel to go through a season with the restrictions and not struggling. ( Except Michael Cain in "Escape for Victory)

Yes we will win the league ( Note I did not say promoted as SPL can't decide)

Give him to Xmas and if no improvement then change is the only answer

Agree1 Disagree3

Im a Celtic fan and have to admit i'm not allys biggest fan. Rangers train at murray park play at ibrox then have to play away games in a coo field could explain why he is playing long ball when pitches get better so might his style of play.

Agree1 Disagree1

Its difficult to argue or disagree with anything that the OP said. As to giving McCoist a fair crack at the whip, I think he has had long enough for us all to see his shortcomings as a manager and dare I say it, coach.

To the Celtic fan who quite rightly said that Rangers train at Murray Park and play at Ibrox then play away games on a coo field, the Annan game was at Ibrox, no excuses. Even if it was played on an ice rink we should be beating part timers No disrespect meant etc etc.

Jim, Plymouth

Agree1 Disagree1

I think ally should get untill the end of next season at least give him a chance its a new team he's built and we are top of the league too many glory hunters posting keep following on true gers fans

Agree0 Disagree1

Ally's remit this season is to get us out of division 3. It takes time for a team to gel, especially a young side. Next year we have to win div 2 and go on a cup run. If he can do that then he deserves the chance to do the same in the 1st and then the SPL. I'm still behind Ally. WATP {The Ed039's Note - This is not a young side through. Aexander, Cribari, Wallace, Perry, Little, Black, Templeton, McCulloch, Kyle, Sandaza. These are not teenagers at the outset of their careers and full internationals)

Agree0 Disagree0

I do not believe it should take a season to gel the second highest paid squad to win div 3 or div 2 or div 1. Rangers are just rank rotten to watch.

Agree0 Disagree1

Still find it hard to understand his tactics, He is coming out every week saying he is targeting 30 year olds. why? If you look at B Dortmund they went under and the last remaining bit of cash they had they invested it ALL in their youth system which then went on to win the Bundesliga. After producing players like Reus Gotze ect. Every Gers fan knows we have some quality youth and they need to be invested in to become top quality players

BigBoyd

Agree1 Disagree1

Alex Ferguson took a team of teenagers against Alan Hansens advice and turned them into a team of winners for many many years.
The problem is Allt hasn't a clue as amanager, no tactical ability,
Have you seen Durrant, Mcdowels pregame warm up for forwards and defenders. There must be a couple of under 16s who can throw a ball into the air for center halves to hearder and a boy to lay a ball off for forwards to shoot at goalkeeper.
That would save about£16grand a WEEK,
you could get 5 or 6 decent players to get out of 2nd division with the help of youngsters.
