Has anyone any thoughts or ideas to why Leanne Dempster jumped off the reconstruction panel after one day? Maybe she already knew it was a waste of time or a false dawn to placate the soon to be relegated clubs? Further BS me thinks.

Yately, perhaps she removed herself from the reconstruction panel because she didnāt want to be party to the big con, who knows. That aside, however, she and her club have voted through self-interest. If the league was to finish itās unlikely Hibs would finish in Top Six, which means no big income games towards the close of the season. Even their game against Hearts would be at Tynecastle. As such, they wouldnāt lose if the season ended early.

I imagine that RFC only option is to sue, for -
1. Negligence;
2. Complacency;
3. Coercion;
4. Bullying;
5. Intransigence.
All under the heading of, Duty of Care.
If they sue and there are sufficient grounds, in law, and it goes to court then a judge can issue a court order regarding ALL relevant information.
In the meantime RFC can ask for an Interim Interdict to stop ALL proceedings regarding the Premier League.
Tough times ahead.

As someone posted Earlier it would be under fiduciary duty . of which we can prove hearts . thistle and Stenhousemuir have all been treated by gross misconduct . Come on our legals get on it .

John25, agree nothing raised would Legally pass test of gross misconduct and that has never been seriously suggested. Interesting reading Motherwell statement and their reason for voting NO. They seem to acknowledge that whilst unsatisfactory governance practices have been followed by the SPFL, given that we are in the midst of the the virus virus, the timing is not right for such an investigation.

Gross misconduct is far and reaching for example but not limited to dishonesty, gross negligence, malicious damage, theft, serious breach of an organisation's policies, fraud, and physical violence. As far as I can see the SPFL on the face of it is guilty of gross negligence, breech of own policies and dishonesty all grounds for a charge of gross misconduct.

TJBB, examples of gross misconduct would be financial theft or sexual assault. We have extremely poor and sloppy governance and communication within the SPFL. We need to move on now, expect changes in personal within the SPFL.

Mate i'm sorry but you're wrong. There are no grounds for us to sue on, and in fact we've left ourselves open for a hefty defamation case against brechin and dunfermline alone. I really don't understand why the board never suggested the genuine irregularities from the Corporate Governance Code which the spfl don't follow (ie too few Non-Executive Directors, limiting independence) instead of hearsay and slander with little to no evidence.

The Board did what they had to do to expose the significant shortcomings and shenanigans operating as standard practice within the SPFL. The actions of our Board have been vindicated and changes within the SPFL will occur in near future. Time to move on now.

Anyone heard of a 16 year old lad Charlie Allen from linfield? Was talking to a friend today and seemingly we have made an approach to sign him. Highly rated attacking midfielder. Boy I was talking to reckons this lad could be a star of the future for us.

no real surprise. too many self obsessed clubs with an anti Rangers bias. Liewell and his cronies on the SPFL board have a few in their pockets. We need to take it to the next level which is the courts. That is the only way to remove these corrupt incompetent individuals.

Is anyone really surprised? Iām not. I am disappointed tho. Spfl said an independent investigation could be bad for finances. rangers offered to pay for it so that takes that excuse away. it shouldāve been a no brainer for everyone to vote for it and find out how things are really being run. Scottish football is corrupt to the core but what do we do now?

I don't think this whole situation will be over until there is serious change within the SPFL board. We have gained more support and there are more clubs becoming vocal and speaking against the SPFL board and there is now an almighty spot light on them. don't be surprised if we take advice and further action in this matter. Park is reported to be furious at the fact lawell was allowed to speak and rangers weren't. His basis is rangers raised the motion and lawell is only a member club and not part of the SPFL board.
Change is coming and the SPFL and lawell better watch out.

That aside, we were never going to get 75 percent backing of the clubs, especially from the clubs who stand to gain most and the clubs in leagues 1 and 2 who wouldnāt want to run the risk of monies being subject to any redistribution.
Iām more interested in the clubs that backed an inquiry. Aberdeen, Hearts and Rangers make up three of the four biggest clubs in Scotland. If, say, there was further support from Premiership clubs then it further suggests an impending division in the Premiership itself.

On Rangers News 24/ 7, meeting now concluded and all votes cast, to reconvene in an hour with the results, I guess if it's 74%, the SPFL will have to go their SPAM FOLDER for a check.
