As for edu ad like to see him move to right back think cld do a job betr thn whittaker and rumour has it that rangers are lookin at colin kazim-richards fink this boy wld be good duno how true it is tho?

Believable10 Unbelievable14

Did you watch the malmo away game? Edu was skint about 20 times when he was playing there, ofcourse not his fault but it shoots your opinion down in flames

Agree0 Disagree0

WHY ARE PEOPLE TRYING TO FIND A ROLE FOR EDU, I COULD SAY [AND POSSIBLE] COULD ORTIZ PLAY THERE

Agree0 Disagree0

Edu is an American still learning.??..I feel sorry for this dude rangers should have a seasoned professional

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to see Edu go back to America and take up basketball instead... never going to be a football player

Thanks for the last minute goal against the mhanky mob Mo... but kindly get tae f***, you're taking the p*ss these days

Agree0 Disagree0

Maurice edu moved to right back? Ad move move him right back all right, right back to f**kin america

Agree0 Disagree0

Writing in caps doesn't make your post any clearer, just makes it harder to make any sense of it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why yous all trying to fill the right back with players starting all the time .. get jordan mcmillan in there hes a cracking player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Edu is a good player we have all seen it he is just short of confidence at the moment. i thought edu had a decent game today, was unlucky with his first yellow. as for colin kazim-richards.... he is currently playing for galatasaray and will be earning a big salary so iam not sure if we could compete with that. good player tho

Agree0 Disagree0

Edu needs replaced. Get off whitts back. He will come good. {Ed047's Note - when? We've been waiting for a while. They should have taken Bursaspors offer

Agree0 Disagree0

Bit harsh on the guy.
I agree he isn't rangers quality but atleast respect the guy.
We need to get rid of him but no1 is gonna want him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Edu is atrocious. No debate. Whittaker is similarly talentless, but at least gives his all. The only reason he got a new contract at 1million a year was because Ally is naive, and sentiment crept in over common sense. He's a nice guy, played a part in us winning the title etc. Our scouting system is rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought edu played well against inverness and I think he will play better without mculloch in the team I think mculloch is past it now

Agree0 Disagree0

I would keep edu and get rid of whittaker mcmillan in there and have broadfoot and ortiz back up

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed do you play football? To say whitt hasn't come good for rangers since he is ridiculous , the man has 2 great feet and has filled in all over our pitch scoring important goals. Those who slate whitt really know s**t about the game {Ed003's Note - Not played for 11 years now}

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't have a pop at ed whitty is rank rotten ... cant play R/B or L/B or in the centre of the park ?? yes he can score goals , but he aint worth 25k a week ... ask yourself this how many touches does he take to control the "BAW" get a grip and a life ... watp

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed 47 u posted on another thread that I must not have watched many games as I consider whitt to be a good player who has only made a couple mistakes , he's our right back but also fills in all over the park cause he is trusted by management to do a job. I'd guess u don't kick a ball about much, considering u think u know better than the gers management as t what a good player is lol
{Ed047's Note - He fills in all over the park? He's crap at right back and left back. He did a reasonable job at centre back but would be roasted up against a decent striker. His best role is right midfield, simply because when he runs straight into an opponent and loses possession he 's not leaving us vulnerable at the back. He's a liability. As for me knowing more than Gers management, I guess that applies to just about everyone on here including you who all have an opinion

Rangers after dundee uniteds jonny russell valued at around 1.3 million. watch this space

Believable8 Unbelievable21

Hope your right, id have went for him before goodwillie

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes the biggest celtic fan out there no chance he'll come

Agree0 Disagree0

Simular to gw worth a shout jellyfish needs a hand up there. hope to see a goal poacher beside him sooner than later

Agree0 Disagree0

If they wouldn't willingly pay 2 million for goodwillie, there is no chance they will pay 1.3 for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do business with Thomson..GTF

Agree0 Disagree0

Can you seriously see utd selling to us , after all the debacle with DG ?

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance dont want him anyway

an utd wont sell to gers

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye so they'll probably offer 300k

Agree0 Disagree0

I Know him well and yes he is a big celtic fan but i ask him if he would come if the chance was there and he said yes he would play for rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

CELTIC`S B team wont be allowed to sell to us

Agree0 Disagree0

No way Dundee utd will sell their next best asset, and especially not to us

rangers will go back in for cuellar in the jan transfer window prob on a pre contract makes good buisness sense get him for nowt next year..ramie govan front

Believable14 Unbelievable10

BELIEVE ME, his injury is a REAL problem.

Agree0 Disagree0

How who are you phil boersma

Agree0 Disagree0

Cuellars injury a wouldn't say it is a real problem its just he wont be fit until about September and wee need players who can play but what i would say is get him on a pre contract in januray as i am sure he is on last year of contract correct me if i am wrong and then get him in July for absolutely free that is what you call good business

Agree0 Disagree0

From the sounds of things ( namely, STV article) Ally will go in in January to sign him. But if the injury IS a real concern, then it will be caught in the medical and we'll make a decision from there.

ive heard bentley rumours as he`s been left out of spurs 25 man europa roster-available for loan/transfer-could we afford his wages for a loan spell?? no so i doubt its true but ive heard them and this is the site for that but it would be nice to hope and we have a good relationship with arry and spurs and arry is reluctant to strengthen epl teams by loaning thier players to them

Believable10 Unbelievable16

Harry has already offered us 2 players that we did not want. He will not offer anyone else. Bentley is apparently going back to Blackburn.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather have the Dutch boy biseswar looks great prospect hope if we go for him it dose not go like the others in not paying the right price for him

Agree0 Disagree0

I really wish people would stop making up stuff like this... get real people

Agree0 Disagree0

Blackburn may want him but they need to cut there wage bill by 500k a month, ive heards the rumours as he`s desperate to move but spurs dont want another darren bent thing to happen where he leaves and gets into the england team think spurs want he money up build though

watch it again he took naismith then the ball so shut it timmy

Believable19 Unbelievable5

Doesnt even matter if he got the ball first as he was coming from behind. red card all day long...

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Gordon Dalziel and Fraser Wishart both ex Rangers players said it was never a penalty in a MILLION years and Tokely getting sent off was a liberty , Steven Naismith is a blatant diver little sh#t , who has "previous" , wonder what Gordon Smith must be thinking , after all he hates cheating

Agree0 Disagree0

Man then ball and not ball then man. Straight red no doubt

Agree0 Disagree0

How anybody can say that wasn't a penalty is beyond me.

Agree0 Disagree0

It was a definite penalty

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if Gordon Dalziel and Fraser Wishart said it then hold on I stand corrected for as we all know they are both the all seeing, all knowing voices of reason and unless Naismith suddenly gained the ability to levetate then there was no way he was staying on his feet I wonder what the reaction would have been had it been Hooper, oh no wait, i forgot the penalty wouldnt have been given as everyone is out to get you crawl back into your cave timothy

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers fan here, but it was ball then man.

Agree0 Disagree0

Naismith has always been a diving little cheat even when be was at kilmarnock

Agree0 Disagree0

Watch it again for all those people who should have went to specsavers he takes naismith's left leg first penalty everytime

alright ed the Carlos cuellar deal is off but do you know what is happening with Wilson not heard anything today also do you know the 8 players ally saying he wants to bring in as that was what smith was saying in an interview today cheers {Ed001's Note - Liverpool were actively looking for a loan for Wilson, that is all I know with regards to him. His comments were merely a hint being dropped in case Rangers would be interested.}

Believable8 Unbelievable4

What does everyone make of goian? I think he will do a job for us. If our defence is fit, and by adding wilson i believe its strong enough to win the spl. So lets save the money we had for names we have been liked with and use it on Carlos in January ready for 5 in a row. Any thoughts guys?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we should bite the bullet now, use the Cuellar cash to fund a quick deal for Juhasz also bring Wilson in on a years loan as cover.

Agree0 Disagree0

5 in a row??-your confident arent you i like it but 4 will do me just now

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree i think Goian is a great old school defender..no messing about, just stop attacks... none of this bougherra breaking forward and leaving gaps in the back. However i do prefer bartley as a holding midfielder and would like another strong defender to partner Goian... i feel Weir is just past it. Wilson would be prefect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with above i prefer bartley as a holding mid rather than cb

I am so sick of everyone ripping on Craig Whyte, give the guy a break. Without him where would we be? McGregor wouldn't have signed a new deal and would probably be away by now, Davis would be gone, Papac would be sold and so would Whittaker (Mistake giving him a new deal). We wouldn't have Goian or Wallace or Ortiz or Bartley or Bedoya or McKay. Remember that Whyte has given McCoist a transfer budget but it is not Whyte or McCoist who decides on what to offer for a player; it is Gordon Smith. Personally I prefer Martin Bain because of the simple fact that he made sensible and acceptable offers instead of ridiculous offers under £200k.

Believable30 Unbelievable12

Thats a rant, not a rumour imo 4 inarow {Ed032's Note - thought it was a point valid for everyone to see}

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this the same Martin Bain who is suing rangers and who is under counterclaim let's see how the court case in October works out

Agree0 Disagree0

Derek johnson confirmed on real radio it isnt gordon smith who decides whats offered though so i disagree its a valid point

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said that man

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, martin bain should be brought back

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a shame that Gordon smith isn't dealing with transfers at rangers

Willie

Agree0 Disagree0

If you were sacked by your employer and thought you were unfairly dismissed, what would you do?

Agree0 Disagree0

Get off Whittakers back while you're at it. A couple of mistakes here and there sure but who hasn't? Also scored vital goals for us. He should however be played in Midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your celebrating the fact you signed Ortiz
Hail Hail

DazzaBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

So gordon smith could go and offer barca 200m then for messi since he makes the offers and expects whyte to cover it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree on whittaker but why bid for a guy thats injured then pull out its a disgrace an they havent got a clue

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's the Whittaker fan? Why lay off him?he's a utility man at best and always has been. It WAS a mistake giving the guy a long term deal and big wages. If we get a good winger and a good right back Whittakers place in that team is gone. Fact. Expensive guy to have around were he not in the team don't u think?

Agree0 Disagree0

So gordon smith could go and offer barca 200m then for messi since he makes the offers and expects whyte to cover it?

whyte gave them a budget so he wouldn't spend 200m idiot

Agree0 Disagree0

I totally agree... Whittaker has been a liability... he gave away the goal against Malmo in the first leg then got petulantly sent off in the second leg... also gave away a goal against Hearts(in exactly the same way as against Malmo) in the first game of the season, leaving us with a terrible start to the season. Never thought i would say this but Broadfoot was better today than Whittaker has been so far this season. Think he needs a couple of games on the bench to regain his composure.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte gave them a budget so he wouldn't spend 200m idiot

right so smith doesnt control the finances then, thats all i needed, thanks

Agree0 Disagree0

Right so smith doesnt control the finances then, thats all i needed, thanks

Smith controls how much they pay fr a player within the budget supplied by whyte. learn to read

Agree0 Disagree0

Smith controls how much they pay fr a player within the budget supplied by whyte. learn to read

so whyte and mccoist dont tell smith how much to offer lol ok so smith could then offer whatever he wants (within this budget) and mccoist and whyte couldnt tell him to up the offer lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Ali Russell is responsible for making bids for transfer targets. He decides what we offer.

Agree0 Disagree0

I do not have a clue what Gordon Smith actually does, as for Whyte please remember what would have happened without him, 4iar.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a whitt fan too, u those who doubt him have short memories . Utility man he was , played awesome right back, centre half, centre mid, left back, left mid. So he's made a couple mistakes , still.one o the best 2 footed gers on the park. And gives all for his shirt. Get off his back part time supporters {Ed047's Note - A couple of mistakes? You don't see many games then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember that bit of magic against Sporting en route to the final when Whittaker took four players on before slotting home to put the tie beyond reach? I do think he should be Playing more of a right midfield role along with Mo Edu inserted to the right back position I thought Edu had a great game there best I've seen him play in a while

Agree0 Disagree0

In an interview earlier in the summer Ally said he would need to speak to Andrew Dickinson about how transfers were progressing and not Smith butthink Smith would be better since he was an agent. I like Whitt and glad he stayed but he shouldnt be one of the highest earners as isnt in Davis/McGregor and Jelavic class

just got home from ma grans and the taxi driver said that rangers were going in for a hibs young boy named david wotherspoon (don't' no if that is correct spelling) do you think rangers should buy him

Believable8 Unbelievable35

You sure the taxi driver wasnt in a wotherspoons lol having a few halves ....bigt

Agree0 Disagree0

The boy was in the year above me at school hes from perth this is bollox hes a not bad player but not good enough for rangers

Think you're gran probably knows more of the dealings inside ibrox that your taxi driver ;-)

ed is there any young players in the spl that u would like to see player for rangers {Ed032's Note - there's plenty. jamie murphy. david templeton. johnny russell. murray davidson. tom hateley. paul hanlon. david wotherspoon. fraser fyvie. peter pawlett. ryan jack. steven saunders (minus injury). shaun hutchinson. scott robinson. jamie pollock. to name but a few}

Believable14 Unbelievable5

Re ed032,,,have you been on the bevvy, glad you dont pick the team.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope we don,t get any of that crap you,ve listed, for gods sake WE,RE GLASGOW RANGERS

Agree0 Disagree0

At the top of that list in capital letters that u might have missed out for forgetful reasons has to be nigel hasslebank

Agree0 Disagree0

We are glasgow rangers, but we have nothing like the money we used to have to spend on players like we used to. sooner people accept that and that it will be like this for a long time to come the better. home grown players are cheaper and can give good returns. if they show potential to develop to a suitable level they are worth taking a chance on.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the above post we have to look at development now rather than buying established players its something we should of always done as i gives the club a spirit, young guys should get a chance, only now the money has forced us to use these lads-murray park is the best money weve ever spent and adding quality young players from scottish teams will benifit rangers and scotland, fyvie looks a great prospect, hateley is a decent player, murphy could be a star this is the market we noe operate in,but at least we will have a rangers team to support not 1 ran down to the bare bones or even bankrupt perry, cole, hemmings, hutton, ness, wylde, mcmillan never have we promted youth like this before-i like it

Agree0 Disagree0

Dina tell me that s**t fae aberdeen are better than what we already have??

Agree0 Disagree0

Its ok buying young players fae other scottish teams but whats happening with our own? Wylde, hutten, cole? rather play them than take s**t fae aberdeen.

Rangers target Bisewar {Ed032's Note - Skysports.com understands Rangers are set to make a move for Feyenoord winger Diego Biseswar.

The Dutchman, who is entering the final year of his contract, has been linked with a move away from Rotterdam this summer, with Feyenoord yet to offer him a new deal.

Biseswar's agent confirmed earlier this summer that Rangers' fierce Scottish Premier League rivals Celtic were pursuing the 23-year-old.

And the Gers now appear to have joined their neighbours in the race for his signature, with the Scottish champions set to make an offer.

Ally McCoist's side were previously targeting ADO Den Haag winger Wesley Verhoek, but after considering several overseas options, including Nottingham Forest, he decided to stay in Holland.

McCoist is keen to make new additions to his squad after seeing Rangers dumped out of the UEFA Champions League at the first hurdle by Malmo.

Believable12 Unbelievable6

Would be good to get one over the jungle jims for a change

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks a great player, how much will we bid, 40p.

Agree0 Disagree0

They rejected 40p we bidded 41p rising up to 42p

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you will find it's 42p spread out over the duration of the 5 year contract they have offered.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its 42p over 5 years plus a penny for every 100 games he playes

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope not another right footed left winger, ger murphy in

Just watched a few youtube videos of this kid. He can score sweet curling shots with both feet. A natural two-footed player.

ed do you think that rangers should try and sign anton ferdinand and could they afford him cause i've seen him play and he looks like a good defender {Ed032's Note - i don't see why not. As far as i know he is on his last year of his contract but he is very injury prone}

Believable3 Unbelievable2

No no no no no. hes worse than his brother. who is fkn awful

Agree0 Disagree0

You think rio ferdinand is bad so you would not want him at rangers cause he must be good to be at Man Utd and so what if he is worse then rio he would still be a good player for rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Ffs Nooooooooooooo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rio ferdanand is geting old if he wis awful why wis he geting a game every week fur (man u) dont post hings wit you dont hiv a clue about n anton ferdinand would walk strait into the rangers first team

Agree0 Disagree0

Rio ferdinand is pants just cos he gets a game every wk. as far as im concerned every cb partner hes ever played with has carried him. terrible player. always a risk. and his bro is sh*t

He`s better than any defender we have

BOLTON are ready to make a move to prise Gregg Wylde away from Rangers.
SunSport understands that Trotters boss Owen Coyle will offer £400,000 for the Scotland Under-21 star.

Wylde is in the last year of his Ibrox deal and is desperate to stay on at his boyhood idols.

Yet he's unhappy Gers' best offer is less than half of what fellow starlets Jamie Ness and John Fleck earn.

Furious Ibrox chiefs believe former Celtic star Frank McAvennie has been touting Wylde in England.

Bolton are the second club from down south to register an interest. West Brom are thought to have had a similar offer rejected last week.

Championship side Leeds United are also believed to be monitoring the situation.

Gers are set to warn all three clubs - and McAvennie - that Wylde is not for sale, even though they would only get a compensation payment in the summer if the 20-year-old runs his deal down.

Ironically Celtic could also be entitled to a portion of that sum - after Wylde spent two years in the Hoops youth system.

Wylde broke into the Gers first team at the end of last season but is still on the £600-a-week deal he signed as an Under-19s player.

He received a five-figure bonus like the rest of the squad when they won the SPL and Co-operative Cup.

Both sides reached a deadlock in talks last March and Wylde was banished back to the youth changing room at the start of this season as the impasse continued.

He was offered an improved figure last week as the Premier League interest grew.

Yet Wylde rejected the cash on offer because it still fell short of what other players his age were on.

He was warned that decision could jeopardise his future first team chances - and was axed from the squad for the friendly with Chelsea.

Yet he's been brought back into the group for today's clash in Inverness after helping Scotland's Under-21s beat Norway 3-0 in midweek.

Believable8 Unbelievable5

We'll probably get that in compensation at the end of the season, so i would say that it's not a good offer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think we should be looking to offload the underacheiver Fleck and offer ylde an improved deal. Fleck gives us nothing

Agree0 Disagree0

Wylde will end up at his beloved celtic parkdown to england for a seaaon then back to the bhoys

Agree0 Disagree0

Think we shuld just offer wylde the same as ness and hutton than sell him on the cheap. any comp would get split with celtic anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with 2nd reply. fleck gives nothin to the team a give more thn he does ffs think we shld up offer for wylde good young pacey player

Agree0 Disagree0

Id also agree. bag fleck and pay for wylde. i believe with a few tweaks wylde could be a future star for both rangers and scotland

I think we'll offer Carlos Cuellar a pre-contract in January, he's already said he wants to be a Rangers player and it would be a dream return so i'm confident that will happen. For now let's bring in Danny Wilson. Very well deserved result today could have been alot more but 2-0 and a clean sheet in the highlands will do me nicely. WATP.

Believable11 Unbelievable5

Rangers fans were brilliant through the whole game aswell even when decisions were going against us then they sang Edu even when he got sent off Weldone fellow bears who were at the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Based on the G Smith interview earlier he went out of his way to say, our interest in this player in 'this' window has been withdrawn, and then when talkin about the situation again he said we will not be making another move for that player in 'this' window... Maybe thats the plan if they think Cuellar may be out for a good chunk of the first half of the season, pre-contract and try and get him on the even cheaper in Jan.

On the Danny Wilson thing, I don't see why we should bring him back just for him to maybe go back to Liverpool in Jan if not definately at the end of the season. Ross Perry handled himself really well this afternoon and I'd much rather see a young player who's still fully attached to the club get a regular run out... Although we could certainly use cover in defence.

Agree0 Disagree0

Guys i really do believe that big Curly is taking his 40 grand a week for as long as possible before he signs for us,i think when he is fit towards the end of the month he will put pen to paper

Why do ppl on this site always make david healy out to be some superstar the guy is terrible i go to every game home and away and have never seen him have a good game the guy is so bad a cant believe we gave him another contract

Believable17 Unbelievable14

You go to every game home and away yet you are commenting on this which must have een mid way through the second half? so obviously you dont go home and away every week. healy is a cracking finisher nothing more but he deserves a shot as we would easily get 20 goals a season given a run in the side

Agree0 Disagree0

You go to all these apparent games and say youve never seen healy have a good game. i have hardly seen healy play in general never mind comment on what i think. never gets a chance to come oN

Agree0 Disagree0

If we gave him a game or two rather than 10 mins here and there he might just be a superstar. It's the clubs fault for giving him a contract if they dont think he's good enough

Agree0 Disagree0

A wrote this at half time ya fud And for the who says he could be a superstar lol whhat u putting in ur corn flakes the guy got allowed to leave sunderland when they had no fit strikers and hadnt scored a single goal for them in 18 months and am sure it coming up on 2 years the last time he scored for northern ireland U might want to start watching games

Agree0 Disagree0

You're obviously a liar or an idiot as Healy has only played in something like 2 league games for us and he scored in the first one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Either a tim or a complete idiot, either way you know nothing about football. Are his stats too poor on Fifa 11 for you or something?

Agree0 Disagree0

Healy hasnt had a chance yet you idiot. Least gee the guy a few games n see whats happening then. I agree with the above post, if he got his chance he'd score some goals and contribute to the team.

u are clearly one of these so called fans on the back of ally/whyte already when weve only played a few games. away n take ur 'support' elsewhere, dont need ur type at our club

Agree0 Disagree0

Healy utter garbage Only NI Boys say he's good He would be ok in the juniors league

Agree0 Disagree0

Half tim at a rangers game nd this guy decides to pull hes phone out tae slate healy .

Agree0 Disagree0

Disagree aw because he stated he loved the club ppl hink hes a legend a fink wae a run a games he wld still be useless and FACT mccoist sees him in training everyday so cant be a superstar if he warms the bench for 80 mins

Agree0 Disagree0

Mccoist seen him in training 4 6 months last year and gave him a deal get a grip and become a supporter instaed of some idiot who pays 4 a ticket to hv a go

Agree0 Disagree0

If he is so good why doesn't Ally start him ?. So the fact of the matter is, he is either not that good, or Ally doesn't know what he's doing.
I can't get my head round our signing policy at the moment, as we've gave Healy a new contract, kerkar a new contract, whitty a bumper new contract, yet we stall over signing good players over a couple of hundred grand.

1st penalty in my eyes wasn't a penalty and certainly not a sending off but our disallowed goal was definitely a goal and the first two penalty claims whilst not stone cold were proabably penalties...So, some form of justice.

Edu finally done something worth while for a change.

Ness been quieter in second half but he is one of the few players on our team that are actually of Rangers standard. Great passing.

Believable12 Unbelievable7

Aye he got sent off

Agree0 Disagree0

Lmao Ano edu is a joke he done nothin ryt apart from the tap in which ma granny would have scored.. pure panic stations every time he gets the ball its no good and he shouldnt be in the team

Agree0 Disagree0

Stonewaller for the first, took the man then the ball, but I'm not so sure about the second.

First penalty was a definate. he was the last man and took him down on a goal scoring opportunity (straight red if its in the box or not). he did get the ball first but he took naisy down from behind with his other leg.

the second pen was a bit harsh but it made up for the handballs that got missed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Watch it again m8, he went through Naismith to get the ball, he would need to have been stretch Armstrong to have touched that ball without going through Naismith.
And regarding the red card, well read the rule book.

rangers awarded another shocking penalty decision when finding it tough to break a team down, ref also sends off player from a superb clearance.

Believable9 Unbelievable17

Whats your point

Agree0 Disagree0

True, we were denied a blatantly onside goal though and denied 2 penalties early on. So whilst bittersweet, it's balanced out.

Agree0 Disagree0

What game r u watching the ref made the right call

Agree0 Disagree0

Let the conspiracy theories begin

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye maybe. But we had 2 stonewall handballs in the fist half and a perfectly good goal chopped off

Run along timmy

Agree0 Disagree0

Shut up ya clown wit aboot the 2 pens we shooda hud in the first half ? dont they count timmy ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Shouldn't you be at the piggery by now timothy?

Agree0 Disagree0

When the referee gave the first penalty he had no other option to send the player off as he had stopped a goal scoring opportunity whether it was or wasn't a penalty is debatable he had went through Naismith to get the ball and as FIFA regulations state that you can't make a challenge from behind therefore in my opinion it was a penalty

AW

Agree0 Disagree0

Get over it we were due a decision off a bad ref

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a rangers fan but the first 'goal' wans't on side

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a celtic fan and i agree completely with aw he did go through the back of naismith and challenges from behind are a no no, experianced defenders like tokely should know better than to make those kind of challenges

Agree0 Disagree0

Tokely is a bomb scare when ICT play the Rangers, we were due a decision in the game, so jog ya root

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh its a conspiracy away you go jungle jim, your team stink

Agree0 Disagree0

3 games into the season and the paranoia's already begun, surely that's got to be a new record lol

Agree0 Disagree0

And dundee utd denied a penalty at 2-1 then sellick score from the ensuing counter. Swings and roundabouts. Or is it ANOTHER conspiracy?

Agree0 Disagree0

Every claim was a stonewaller so for me the ref to only giv 2 was a joke needs his eyes tested big dc

Agree0 Disagree0

HERE WE GO, PARANOIA KICKS IN ALREADY

Believable2 Unbelievable11

Shut up and get behind the team instead of moaning

Agree0 Disagree0

I think your watching a different match. All Rangers, Ness playing well, Goin doing fine, Perry is looking good also. Start supporting timothy

Agree0 Disagree0

Broadfoot is playing well, Goian looks solid, Ness is playing outstanding, jelavic justs need a chance so it isnt at all bad apart from bartleys injury

Agree0 Disagree0

What game did u watch u diddy. Broadfoot was ok did the job and played a few gd crosses. Goian was absolutly solid and hus tackling is very good as a defender he looks better than bougy. Ness was gd his passing is top drawer. And edu was ok didnt deserve his 1st booking but second the tackle was silly and im kind of glad he will now get a rest.

Agree0 Disagree0

Goian solid best player today for Gers ,you dont know what your talking about you on the wrong site?

So Rangers withdrew their bid for Cuellar and why? Because we actually looked like we might get him McLeish in the press saying we can have him and we decide we don't want him as we will actually have to pay a fee

We are being lied to again and again There is no money available I'm fine with the idea that we haber difficult times ahead of us and will have to sacrifice success for stability but I it angers her that we as fans are being led up the garden path.

Believable3 Unbelievable12

Because cuellars wage demands were to high...bigt

Agree0 Disagree0

Cos he is injured ya wank

Agree0 Disagree0

You honestly have no idea, everything you just spouted was absolute drivel. What are we being lied to about exactly, the player is injured and not expected to return until at least the middle of next month, we need players now, which the club are trying to secure, I'd much rather see them pull the plug on this deal and use the money to bring in someone who can add something straight away rather than someone to keep the doctor's occupied.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we'll sign him pre contract in jan

Agree0 Disagree0

I have posted this constantly, how can a stick out like Cuellar be available for 2ml, there is no question that the injury is a problem, hate to say it but we should step back

i cant believe how bias andy walker is im watching the game on sky this guy is unbelievable Sky should boot his ar5e for his comments after ness missed he clearly say i am glad to see that one roll by for a corner and the hand ball incident if a penalty was given it would be harsh that's 3 hand balls in the box

Believable23 Unbelievable2

Even on the septic pages it has been mentioned

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree. you can't half tell he's a celtic supporter. To say the goal was offside is shocking.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ye well he's an 100% ugly....Would you expect anything less...bless...

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree ,comments were anti Gers

Agree0 Disagree0

Sooo true , andy bhoy was trying to say the rangers back room staff and players were harassing the ref at half time for decisions the guy is so anti rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Andy walker is extremely biased but what else do we expect sky is overrun with Celtic minded people

Agree0 Disagree0

The penalty shout when I there was at least 2 hand-ball incidents, all I could think if was how the heck is he being paid to comment on games. If that had been Celtic, there is not a shadow of a doubt in my ind that he'd have been shouting and screaming that it was a clear penalty. I've never heard him call a Rangers game without every comment being laced with pure unashamed bias against the GERS. Its even worse when he is commenting on Celtic games, it gets so bad I think he is rubbing one out at every little thing Lennon and Co do.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just watched the game again there as i was @ it earlier heard the comments in question utterly astonishing that he can sit and say that i urge all rangers fans to call sky or email them complaining about the biased of andy walker he should not be doin our games

Agree0 Disagree0

Andy walker is the most boring and biased commentator i have ever heard, the guy is a joke, sky need to get shot of him a.s.a.p. everybody knows he's a celtic fan, i prefer davie provan over him and i can't stand him

Lets get a petition made up to get andy walker to at least stop commentating on rangers games he is so bitter and biased consistently cant stand the guy

Ness big improvement on mcculloch

Broadfoot is murder

Ortiz ditto. Too lightweight and again being played on the left

Believable14 Unbelievable4

Give ortiz a break i think he has had a good first half i agree with the rest of your post

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't he certainly looks the part.that's the difference wylde take note..we are playing ortiz outa place..need to give him ahit otime he will come good....

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought ortiz was ok today, not the best in our team but certainly not the worst. Good link up at times. Guy has still to settle. People need to get off his back n give him a chance. When he does settle we'll see how good he is.

As far as im concerned, he was brought in to cover many positions, not be a starter. This would have shown had verhoek/bedoya(yet) been signed, or maybe even if wylde had signed a new deal. Anyway, what were people expecting, messi? just cause he is spanish doesnt mean he can dribble by a whole team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is ortiz is on the left, hes a natural right footer??

Agree ness much betr thn mcculloch broadfoot is murder real let down and as for ortiz a agree with the person who says "just cause he is spanish doesnt mean he can dribble by a whole team "

Believable10 Unbelievable2

Is he not a right mid so why is he one the left

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed do u have a clue as why rangers are playing a right mid on the left cause you see he cant cross with he left foot so he as to cut in all the time {Ed032's Note - im afraid you will have to give ally a phone}

Agree0 Disagree0

It doesn't matter whether he plays right or left he hasn't got the pace to by anyone as for Broadfoot I give in do we not have anyone better than this god help us

Rangers are set to make a move for Feyenoord winger Diego Biseswar.

I'd get rid of mcculloch and edu and play Davis Ness Hutton Bedoya/Mckay

Listening to the pre match buildup on the radio and Gordon smith is being interviewed. When asked who is actually negotiating with these transfer targets he replied 'why are you asking me?' He doesn't seem to know who deals with the negotiations in my opinion. The rangers staff seem to be defending themselves when questioned by saying 'we do have money and have brought players in' however the most we have splashed is £1.5 million, the rest of the signings are well under the £1 million mark. In my opinion the players that have been brought in do not meet rangers standards and I fail to see how any of them (apart from Wallace) will develop rangers and create a stronger challenge in the European competitions. European success should be the main priority as that is where the money is and that is how to attract real quality players.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Wit is rangers quality u tit get real the souness advocat era has passed

Agree0 Disagree0

The league should always be our priority thats what gets you into europe in the first place

Agree0 Disagree0

There's no need to insult anyone, it's only an opinion, rangers quality is mcgregor, Davis, and jelavic. Apart from those three there isn't anyone who stands out. Yes the league comes first obviously but we never seem to have the quality for european success, we must push further for that to attract real quality

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen I'd rather Rangers went about doing what they are doing with many players coming in the door, which we need remember as we don't have a great pool of players Chances are outta all players we purchase a few will probably end up of real quality Personally, I wouldn't want Rangers buying the Michael Balls and the Tore Andre Flo's when they proved nothing for this club a big waste of money In this day and age, you can't expect Rangers to compete in the Market with most Premiership teams Sky pays for all those teams and the inflation of most players is OTT

Agree0 Disagree0

We need to crawl before we walk win the league first

Agree0 Disagree0

I think goian has been a great signing - always looks comfortable on the ball great strong center back - could help us do well in europe and rips up the SPL

according to gordon smith cuellar deal is dead

Summary of Gordon Smith on BBC Radio Scotland:

States that money has been made available and as a result four players had been brought in, going up to six if they can successfully bring in McKay and Bedoya next week.

Expresses regret that the Goodwillie scenario unfolded as it did, and that it was left to late, but they had to wait for his personal situation to be resolved.

The Cuellar deal is dead with Rangers having withdrawn their offer, and he stated "We will not be looking to bring in that player in this window." He also said that the deal could have went through as terms were agreed however Rangers withdrew.

Smith refutes any embarrassment about Rangers dealings in the window, with four players in and two on the way very shortly, as well as more to come hopefully and six existing players tied up on long term deals he certainly can be justified in feeling like that.

The only main target that they are disappointed in not securing out of the list is Goodwillie.

Gordon Smith has not been involved in transfers so far, however they are looking at bringing him into the fold alongside Russell and Dixon.

An offer is on the table for Wylde at the moment which he has not accepted however he expects negotiations to take place in the near future to tie this up and that it is being blown out of proportion in the press.

3million Euro has been put in for Juhasz with assurances that this would be enough to tempt the club to sell, however the club have since shifted the goal posts and are looking for more. Although, didn't sound like this deal is entirely dead...

I know the Roland Juhasz rumour mill has been spinning for a while now, I posted on here last week that the Verhoek and Juhasz deals would be rejected by their repsected clubs and I was correct.

Well, my same source has told me that, even though Juhasz will have a sit down with his club in an attempt to seal the deal to Rangers, his club still won't budge on their asking price for the guy.

I think McCoist is in a no-win situation here and should look elsewhere.

I also don't want Wilson back at the club, he was too quick to get out of Ibrox so Rangers shouldn't be too quick in bringing him back...let him rot on the Anfield bench.

Believable5 Unbelievable10

Agree with Wilson comments mate. Spot on. Bartley is a better player anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

Source nothing it was a guess admit it. I could. Have told you that the bids would have got rejected. The only rumour that was true was the guy that posted about odonkor. So stop posting rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree about wilson. lets just concentrate on developing our young players and not help in the development of those that have wanted to leave

Agree0 Disagree0

On Wilson, behave, young lad given the chance to play for one of the top European teams and financially secure his future, you saying you would not have gone, get a grip. And yes take him back on loan he was a stick out against Denmark in particular with his distribution from defence. Dont you think anyone who can help give us 4iar should be welcome.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the Wilson comment - not only that he is a Celtic fan Seemingly wanted to play for them

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a seaon ticket holder at Ibrox. and i am related to Wilson. I can tell you he WANTS to come to us. He is not interested in going to Celtic.
He was at Ibrox from the age of eight and believe me he follows us, Even when he is bench warming in Liverpool.
When he left us the deal suited Rangers as well as wilson.
I am biased as a love my team, and hope he does return for him and the family.

Agree0 Disagree0

Danny Wilson is a massive Celtic fan he used to turn up to Murray park with a Celtic top underneath his Rangers training top - fact After the old firm game he went down the Livi centre with his Celtic top on and his agent had to tell him to get his tri coloured flags off his bedroom wall

Agree0 Disagree0

That last post is the biggest lot of pish i have read on this site.

Bolton to come in with half a million for wylde...

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Yah beauty. do they also get macca in that deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

We're running the risk of a Charlie Adam part II

Agree0 Disagree0

No Charlie Adam was unfit, was shown the door and being given the backside kicking he needed has pulled his socks up.

Wylde however is yet another example of what's wrong with football today. A young guy with a lot of POTENTIAL who wants big bucks now over football and trophies

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok going forword scares the s**t ot of me defending

Adam vastly overrated anyway, liverpool seriously ripped off there .

We will sell him for that. We pay way over the odds for players and sell them on the cheap... I cant blame him for looking at a move as we are not playing him right now.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no risk of a Charlie Adam part II. Charlie Adam was and still is an average player. He was rotten at Rangers and only looked good at Blackpool because he was the best of an average bunch. As for Wylde.....I don't rate him either, he rarely beats a guy and can only go the one way, he can never cut inside, far too predictable. Wylde ain't a major loss................

Agree0 Disagree0

Good hes mince any how throw in john fleck as well and huv both for 400k

We were told early at the start of whyte's reign that we wouldn't have a marquee signing. it was all about filling gaps and trying to not lose any1. just wish people wouldn't get sucked in by the papers trying there hardest to paint a bleak future at rangers.

If it wasn't for whyte Davis and McGregor would be leaving for a fifth of their value. Tying them down was crucial, and on top of that we've signed players. This time last year all we were reading was rumours our best player were going for next to nothing, makes a nice change being linked with players to come in, im sure you'd agree.

Yes think so
gordon smith is just a puppet for white

Never count contract renewals as money spent.

They were pullin a wage in and now it has been increased it's not like they've been given the monies in one lump sum, it's an increase in wage. I sure as he'll would never take that out of a transfer budget as it is plain crazy to do so.

Loaning in 2 central defenders is asking for trouble aswell because in effect come May (2012) we will be no further forward and need to bring in 3 defenders as Weir will surely be retiring then.

Given the chance I think Edu should be put behind the midfield but infront of the defense that should be the best place for him to break down attacks (good old fashioned spoiler) as I feel he has the best engine in the whole squad.

Keep Jela for another season then punt on for a profit as I think this guy might have glass ankles and could be injured alot.

Why are so many folks negative about our team we have resigned our key players although Whittaker has had a shocking start new players in early days before we can form a judgement.Hutton ness ready for step up ,improvements started on stadium, ally needs to be given time to make his Mark ,he was badly let down by bougie and whittaker in malmo get behind the team keep believing keep the faith ,iawt

Just be glad that the club is still alive FFS, i could not care less if we do not sign anyone else as long as it means the survival of Glasgow Rangers F.C.

Agree0 Disagree0

Or jamie murphy?

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye....Eddie Murphy {Ed032's Note - haha}

Will mean Rhys Murphy, seems to me an attempt at humour so when Jamie doesn't sign he will say I meant Rhys? Hopefully sign both Murphy's in my opinion. Rhys is a great young player and a great finisher in the future think maybe put him out on loan. WATP.

Why not post a name then ??
