Everton in for Tav. Easy 30million if weak knees Tierney went for 25. Tavs been in Europa League team of the week so often. Tierney s not even been mentioned. I'd let him go for 30. Not out of the realm of possibility. Best defensive record Europe only comparable to Bayern Munich. We always sell ourselves shirt. 55. One day cliser.

13 Dec 2020 20:46:35
Personaly think we demand more for him than 30 million.30 million for a fullback with stats like that. i'd be asking a lot more than 30 million. you want him you pay the big bucks. why scottish clubs continuasly sell themself short is beyond me.

13 Dec 2020 20:58:18
30m to open talks. I’d absolutely hate to loose tav and would happily see him retire at the famous. What he brings to the team this season I don’t think you could replace for any amount of money. He loves it here and believe the only team he would leave for is possibly Leeds. He has fell in love with rangers and rangers have fell in love with him. There’s a few I wouldn’t mind loosing this season but tav certainly isn’t one one of them.

13 Dec 2020 23:09:47
I’d sell him for £30m however I don’t think we’ll get anywhere near that only 1 month ago I posted a price list of the full squad 1 by 1 and was slaughtered by what I’d say was a fair majority on here regarding most my prices, II said £20-25m for kamara, and was slaughtered. I said £15-20m tav, and was slaughtered. Now people want £30m for tav and £25m for kamara. Probably the same people who slaughtered me lol I’d rather we kept tav till the summer and would wish him well at £20m.

13 Dec 2020 23:30:20
Its not scottish clubs " selling themselves short " at all, its what they are offered, same thing as the old firm takes players from smaller leagues or clubs in this country, they are offered and they make a decision, no point having a player you want 50 million for when your only offered 5, you don't sell, if your player is worth 50m to another club they will pay close to that, if they value him at 5 that is what they will offer, or near too, no players ever went for what a football fan thinks that's for sure, as most have no idea what goes in, or otherwise to the deal, Tav may be great here, this season he may be rotten down south, nobody is going to pay 30milion to find out.

14 Dec 2020 00:07:19
What was it chris sutton said celtic should demand for keiran tierney after man u shelled out stupid money on wan bissaka? Mabey buzzbum can tell us? Was a lot more thn they got but for a full back Tav must have the best stats in europe if not world football. Way better thn KT had he's also everpresent and not injury prone so we should be demanding top dollar. Am sure chris sutton would agree. Although he'll definitely disagree as he plays for glasgows finest. 55 here we come, in Gerrard we trust!

14 Dec 2020 00:19:44
Get real. 29 year old no resale value. What a player and what a season he's having but a 30m valuation is just ridiculous.

14 Dec 2020 07:02:39
Herewego55, your absolutely spot on mate. 30 million for Tav is ridiculous- it should be nearer 40 million !

14 Dec 2020 07:26:08
I don’t think they were serious with the £30 valuation Herewego55, I just assumed it was another piss take like the £50m for Morelos?

14 Dec 2020 07:34:04
Aye, if Tav had been early 20's then absolutely, but at 29 there's no way he is going for anywhere near these figures. I reckon 10m would be optimistic.

14 Dec 2020 07:46:58
Of course it’s ridiculous hwg but the same people put up the same ridiculously high prices every couple of weeks and will probably never grasp the football market, no 30 year old will go for 30m unless he’s just scored 25 goals for Barcelona and heading to PSG, not a fullback from Scotland, far too old for that sort of price.

14 Dec 2020 09:02:05
I've always rated tav highly but i tend to agree with Tomthumb12 on this regarding the age thing! If tav was say 23 years old, we would be able to get £20million + for him with his stats and his fitness levels, as he's a total athlete, who isn't out injured a lot! However as tav is close to 30 years old now, i think any team wishing to buy tav would probably get him, if of course tav wanted to go in the first place,
for around £12million-£15million max
imo 🤔.

14 Dec 2020 10:19:52
Thumb thumb. totaly disagree with you there. english clubs have always sold scotland short knowing that a few million quid big for a few teams in scotland. let's take john McGinn for instance. when steve bruce started laughing and chuckling live on sky sports stating 3 million pound for john McGinn is laughable as he was getting quoted at the time for a 50 million pound move to man u after only a year at Aston villa. or ryan gauld for instance. sporting Lisbon buying him for 3 million and instantly inserting a 47 million pound release clause in his contract. The fact steven gerrard comes out and officially states that rangers players prices will not be sold on the cheap any more says it all. granted its scottish football and the leagues not great but european competition is european competition no matter what country you play in. if tag was in england playing like that he'd be quoted around 60 million us player. yet everton are going to bid around 7 million. ye your right lol they don't sell us short do they 🤔🤷‍♂️.

14 Dec 2020 10:20:38
If we were going to sell tav for any less than £15-20m then he’s more valuable to the club by keeping him. I think we’d struggle to get a better right wing back at rangers and in scotland, to the style we play and the job he does, he’s more valuable to keep for another 4 years and maybe lose for nothing than to accept £8,10,12m. Tav looks as though he could play to that level till he’s 34,35 when the legs go so I think £15m or even £20m is good value, if a club likes him enough to want him in the first place he’s getting a 4 year deal anyway. So with his numbers and what they’re seeing why not pay the £15-20 as you’re getting his best years on a 4-5 year contract. I think it’s great value for money tbh. He won’t hit they numbers in England but who would? He needs to go to the right club playing the right system to get best out of him. If he does that he’s worth it, if not al gladly keep him.

14 Dec 2020 10:56:56
Tav will be worth whatever someone is willing to pay. 👍
Rangers will also have their own valuation of what they think he's worth.
It's then up to any buying and selling clubs to come to an agreement. 👍
It shows how fickle us fans can be as plenty on here would have chased him out the door for nothing last season.

14 Dec 2020 11:01:01
I could be wrong but has Tav not only got a 18mth contract left, if so in the summer he will go for between 10 and 15 million imo

Due to Scottish market, age and contract left.

14 Dec 2020 11:12:03
I with IGWT on this one. Unless we get top dollar for Tav, and he is willing to stay, then he's much more valuable with us, than leaving us.

14 Dec 2020 11:15:07
If so delman . We best get him tied down pronto mate.

14 Dec 2020 11:58:31
Tav and Goldsonhave 18 months left on contracts.

14 Dec 2020 12:25:38
I'd tie both down on deals that will take them to the end of their careers here. That's how much they have improved over the past couple of years. And must say I thought Tav"s free kick was absolutely sensational. To be that far out and not give the goalie an earthly chance of saving it was just unbelievable.

14 Dec 2020 12:37:52
Perhaps we are struggling financially and can’t afford to offer improved deals which tav goldson and kamara all deserve, more money. Maybe need to wait till we get the deadwood out the door and split the saved wages between these players. Or till fans are back in the door. May be we need to sell someone for cash to afford the new contracts these players deserve and probably want.

14 Dec 2020 14:23:42
IGWT, deadwood out the door in about three weeks, improved contracts for Tavernier - who will end his career here - and Goldson. For me, Kamara is the one who will go and make us a lot of money.

14 Dec 2020 16:36:41
I wish some of our fans would learn to respect players and stop describing them as deadwood and other derogatory names.

14 Dec 2020 19:55:23
Dave, everyone has put up an opinion, many with ridiculous figures, you have shown yet again your incredibly strange understanding of football, you say a 30 year old fb in English football would go for, 60 m, yet again your lack of knowledge is breathtaking, stick to 50 Morelos stories mate.

14 Dec 2020 20:44:31
Sorry john25 do u know tbh as I wrote that I felt what u said. I would like to accept that was a wrong statement and I’m sorry to have said it. My point was the players who won’t play a part. That’s all.

14 Dec 2020 21:15:14
Don't you worry yourself John, they can't hear anything.

13 Dec 2020 03:34:41
Was just reading online they're that we are keeping tabs on the young french lad at airdrie Thomas Robert (son of Laurent Robert) ex Newcastle. Says boys been putting some top performances and us and Celtic hibs Dundee Utd are all scouting him at the minute. Maybe one to watch given our poor back up in wide areas ie Jones barker Stewart all likely moving on.

13 Dec 2020 07:16:43
This boy had some offers from top teams in the summer and amazingly choose airdree as it was guaranteed game time in the first team. knowing this I doubt he will join rangers or celtic at the moment as game time will be sparse.

13 Dec 2020 11:55:01
If we are scouting this boy, all it means is the scouts are doing their job. He is at least two or three years away from a first team like ours and never replacement for anyone currently in the squad.

13 Dec 2020 15:26:22
We have better players in reserves than Robert.

13 Dec 2020 15:51:43
John have you seen a lot of this kid Robert?

13 Dec 2020 17:05:53
Saw him in Vidoe with Montpellier B. As soon as I read we were interested I did some research. Kennedy is much better, although Robert is right sided IMO, I’d be stunned if we wasted money signing him.
If we fancy him sign him on bosman as contract up in May
At 20, he would not get near match day squad.

13 Dec 2020 17:24:07
I certainly agree with you John25,
Kai Kennedy is a player alright 👌I think if which looks like he signs a new deal, he'll break into our first team under gerrard 👍 He'll be part of our first team squad from possible january onwards, as it looks a possibility, we could call time on his loan deal at ICT 🤔.

13 Dec 2020 17:43:40
Wasted money on him is a big strong when all you have seen is clips of him to be honest.

Kent never set the heather a light before he came here on loan at other clubs either.

13 Dec 2020 18:07:24
If the lad has any sense he’ll join another club where he continues to play and develop. Going by his decision to go to airdrie tells me he’s got his head screwed on and not money orientated. Good luck to the lad.

13 Dec 2020 19:18:57
If this guy had offers from top clubs but chose airdrie because of game time it definitly shows he has confidence in his own ability as if he played poor he would basically be ruining the start of his career. He must be decent if we are scouting him given our track record on recent signings. I've got too admit I've never seen him but don't write the boy off because of the standard he is playing at. I bet people would have the same view on kamara if they thought we were going for a dundee player. Trust the manager wheather we are going for him or not. In Gerrard We Trust.

13 Dec 2020 19:40:05
KJ 9 he is not a world beater, he’s plYing league 1 we r not a cash rich club and need to remain prudent in the market.
I’d love to know who he allegedly turned down to go to airdrie.
I wish him all the best but don’t feel he improves our first team.

13 Dec 2020 23:55:51
Top clubs made him offers? And he said no? To sign for Airdrie, and he's 20? Not 12? , summit not right here.

14 Dec 2020 10:24:48
Think he knocked back a few English pl clubs who told him he’d go in development squads as he wanted to play first team football. I’ve never even seen a clip of him kicking a ball so could t comment on him as a player, but I do respect his attitude and confidence etc.

14 Dec 2020 11:00:11
Sounds like agent talk that he turned down big clubs to sign for Airdrie!
Remember Kennedy's agent also said he had numerous offers from 'big clubs' as he was negotiating a new contract with Rangers.
And Gerrard put him in his place with the ego dig. 👍.

14 Dec 2020 20:10:28
Tom correct re Robert. Something not right, agent doing a big one on somebody.
