I wasn’t suggesting the lad from Peterborough was the right move, I was suggesting that £5m for a striker was. I’ve never heard of the guy, original point still stands all strikers worth their salt cost money. Not that I want to talk about them but look at Edouard he didn’t really do much did he and PSG are after 8m minimum.

Hey guys was on the rangers website there and was looking at the rangers players page and seen that the admins have now updated the rangers roster page. They have removed all the Loan players like Martin Goss Dalcio etc and Playes like Bates and Pena and recently transferd players inc Miller Kelly Dodoo and Even MOH who hasn’t even been confirmed
yet

My point is since they have removed all these players off the ones who have returned to there parent club from loan and the ones who have either been released or sold it makes me wonder why - Jason Cummings is the only player who was on loan not to be removed. makes me wonder if we are still actually signing him? why update the page and remove all these players who have returned on loan but not Cummings? might be looking into it too much but thought guys?

Maybe guy just overlooked him. If we had the same agreement as Murphy, it would be done by now. Personally I just don't think he is good enough for where we want to be.

I agree sadly he didn’t do Enough to impress me either so hopefully the admin forgot to take him off the page, can’t say I would be gutted if we signed him of the fee was under a mill but yeh had me wondering why he was the only player not took off the page that’s technically left us

Agree Copland, he scored a few for relatively little game time and when he was started it was in formations that didn’t suit him. He needs a workhorse partner with him up front that can do all the work so he can stay between the goal posts and tap them in.

I believe we have an agreement to sign Cummings in principal but with Nottingham wanting to sell him we are trying to get him for less than the agreed fee

Not really getting the whole McBurnie thing. I watched him in the Toulon Tournament against Turkey and for me he was just lazy and looked disinterested. His penalty miss was woeful. Admittedly it was the only game I have seen him in play in but he did not impress me. Maybe he just had a bad game that day.

I for one as much as I love anyone that pulls on our great jersey ( MOH excluded as I know the family that comes into my work ) I still can't get over the amount of times Cummings scored against us and the celebrations that followed and when he joins us all that is forgotten! Remember the cup final . the wee rat instigated most of the trouble that ensued

Fenerbahçe links with Alfredo Morelos are true. However, Martin Škrtel will not be included in negotiations.

Rangers cannot afford Škrtel's wages (unless Bruno Alves was to leave) . I understand Bruno plans to stay with the club this season.

The amount of people slating Morelos is embarrassing. He’s 20 years old, top goalsxorer for us.

Aye he missed a couple of sitters against Celtic, but if anybody thinks he’s the reason we were so poor last season then your way off the mark.

He’s still learning, I’d keep him unless we get a decent offer.

Letting Morelos go would be a massive mistake - he never had a break so basically his season lasted 18 months, he scored 18 goals and the service he had at times was shocking, decent pace, strong as a buffalo, holds ball up well, links play, good first touch - next season with the coaching of Gerrard, better players around him and off the back of a rest he will bag 25 plus - fire us to the title and his value will shoot up also.

Don’t think I’ve read anybody Slating him just being honest that he’s not that good, generally it’s constructive and honest. He can’t be mopping about with his face tripping and making effort (especially second half of the season) and think people are going to rate him. We’re the biggest club he’ll every play for and if he can’t see that then we’re better selling him for £2m/ £3m and looking for a player who wants to be here.

If morelos goes and we don't resign cummings- and i assume herera, who has been a disaster will go. so we literally have no strikers left! As it stands, even if morelos stays, and we resign cummings-even then we need 2 quality strikers. someone prolific and a target man, and they don't come cheap.

Hollow55 - What makes you say he doesn't want to be here? he looks huffy sometimes but his effort never drops, maybe he's more frustrated with himself than not enjoying being at Rangers? Gerrard won't play 1 up top every week and Morelos will have someone he can have a partnership with - he is plenty good enough and gives defenders a tough workout every week. Give him a chance.

I’d keep Morelos and partner him with a big Centre forward and if all goes to plan then we’ll make money on him further down the line

People need to remember “El Buffalo” had 2 seasons back to back. That’s why his early form was great. he was fitter and sharper than most.

As the season progressed, everybody else was getting fitter and sharper and he was getting tired

The guy deserves at least this season to see what he’s got to offer

Rumor going about that the Connor Goldson deal isn't as close as the press made it out to be, hope this isn't true but What if it is and i heard are 2 Cb will be Katic and Alves with Goldson having second thoughts about leaving Brighton and wants to prove he can cut it in the premiership, like i said hope its just a rumor but what's the hold up why hasn't he signed yet? sometimes there's no smoke without fire.
